本研究の目的は, ベルギーの首都ブリュッセルにおいて, 近代都市計画の始点とされるイギリスの田園都市論の影響のもと, 20世紀初頭, 田園地域に数多く建設された住宅地の特徴を明らかにすることである。そのためにそれらの分布や規模, 計画技法, 住民共同組織の形態, 共有施設等を整理分析した。その結果, ハワードにより提案されたような真の自立した都市像ではなく, 既存市街地に部分的に依存し, 低層低密な2連戸住棟, テラスハウスによる中世風不規則配置構成を持った比較的小規模な田園郊外としての特徴を有していることが明らかになった。

The reactions of N, N, 9-trialkyladenines (II) with alkyl halides in N, N-dimethylacetamide gave N, N, 3, 9-tetraalkyladeninium halides (IV) in good yields. N, N, 3-Trialkyl-adenines (III) underwent the alkylation more smoothly to provide an alternative synthesis of IV.

The aim of this study is to investigate environmental situation surrounding terraced houses with greenery patterns, and to accumulate objective data and features in the new developed residential area in Malaysia. A computer microclimate simulation technique is applied by combining stored digital spatial data on GIS as main tools. As a results, i) There is almost no temperature changes between the current building shape and after changing the building aspect ratio without additional greening. However after green space added, some contributions for reducing surrounding temperature can be observed. ii) The relatively higher cooling effects of greenery in the surrounding building and block can be observed in the afternoon and evening. iii) Increasing approximately 11% green coverage ratio make effects of reducing about 0.5°C above the green spaces and about 0.3°C on the surrounding area.

A detailed account is given of the first chemical synthesis of hypoxanthine 7-N-oxide (5), which started from coupling of 6-chloro-5-nitro-4(3H)-pyrimidinone (7) with N-(4-methoxybenzyl)phenacylamine, generated in situ from the hydrochloride (8), and proceeded through cyclization of the resulting phenacylaminopyrimidinone (9) and removal of the 4-methoxybenzyl group. The results of catalytic hydrogenolysis, methylation followed by catalytic hydrogenolysis, and rearrangement under acidic conditions of 5 supported the correctness of the assigned structure. An ultraviolet spectroscopic approach suggested that the neutral species of 5 exists in H2O mainly as the N(7)-OH tautomer (21). In the in vitro bioassay of antileukemic activity against murine L5178Y cells, 5 was weakly cytotoxic, with IC50 of 100μg/ml. It did not show any antimicrobial activity even at 1000μg/ml. None of the 9-(4-methoxybenxyl) (11) and O-methyl (12, 13, and 14) derivatives was found to be antiieukemic or antimicrobial.

地下水位の上昇によって東京駅が浮き上がり,損傷を受ける恐れが出てきた。施工場所や作業時間が限られることから,約130本ものグラウンドアンカーを地下のホームや底版を貫いて垂直に打設。下から押し上げる被圧地下水の水圧に対抗する。 対策を施しているのは,JRの総武線と横須賀線が乗り入れる東京駅の地下駅。赤レンガ駅舎の西側に位置し,1972年に開業した。

Maintenance problem for infrastructures such as bridge, road, airport, etc., attracts keen interest in modern Japan. We have to cope with repair and maintenance for infrastructures with limited financial resources. In airport pavements, repair works are restricted by daily flight operation, so that efficient maintenance planning is required. In this paper, we try to model deterioration of an existing airport runway, which is composed of 100 units. PRI (Pavement Rehabilitation Index) for each unit is obtained by 3 to 8 times of inspection during around 28 years. PRI is an index to provide an objective evaluation of pavement surface condition, with criteria determined for judging the need for rehabilitation work on runway, taxiway, and apron pavements. Many researches and practitioners use PRI for airport pavement maintenance in Japan. The spatial distribution of deterioration in airfield pavement is not discussed in many previous studies. This study discusses deterioration curve for each unit and feature of spatial distribution. The distribution of deterioration based on PRI and the probability of exceedance of each PRI criteria in future are estimated by the proposed method.

1996年の中央教育審議会答申は,従来の反省を踏まえたゆとり教育の柱の一つとして総合的な学習の時間を設けることを提言した。 これをうけた学習指導要領の改定で,2002年度から総合的な学習の時間が学校で実施されることになり,各大学ではそのための教職に関する科目として総合演習が開講された。しかし実施されて間もなく「ゆとり重視の学習指導要領が学力低下を招く」とする批判論が強くなった。そのため文科省は見直しを指示し,2011年度から実施された新学習指導要領では総合的な学習の時間は削減された。その結果多くの大学では総合演習は廃止される。 こうした動向中2002年度から本学体育学部で総合演習を担当する機会を得た筆者が,この10年間にめざしたことと取り組んだことの概要とそこで考えたことを報告したい。
