行政ではXML(eXtensible Markup Language)を用いた電子申請のインフラ整備を進めている.そしてこのインフラ整備では,申請書本文とその申請内容を補足説明する添付文書からなる複数文書一式が,申請書の記載要領に相当する文書内容に関する規約(文書規約)に従っていることを保証する仕組みが重要になる.しかし,XML Schemaのような既存の標準では,要素間や複数文書間にわたる文書内容制約を表現できないという問題があった.そこで,複数XML文書一式に対する文書規約を表現・検証する仕組みの提供を目的として,文書規約記述言語DRDL(Document Rules Description Language)と,その処理系(DRDLプロセッサ)を開発している.DRDLの特徴は,以下の2点である.(1)Xpath(XML Path Language)を基本要素として,等式,限量子,および論理演算子を用いて構成される論理式で文書規約を表現することにより,複数文書一式に対する内容間制約を簡潔に記述できる.(2)同一文書規約を,文書内容検証用と文書変換用の双方の規約として解釈できるようにすることにより,申請様式の電子化や改訂に伴う内容検証機能や変換機能の開発効率を向上させることができる.Japanese Administration has developed XML-based Electronic Application infrastructure. In this development, it is important to establish a method to validate whether a set of documents consisting of a body document and attached documents satisfies document rules in application manuals. But XML Schema, a standard to describe document rules, can not represents a constraint among contents in multiple XML documents. This paper presents Document Rules Description Language (DRDL) and its processor (DRDL Processor) in order to provide a framework for description and validation of constraints among contents in multiple XML documents. The features of DRDL are the following. (1)DRDL can concisely describe constraints among contents in multiple XML documents with logical formula which consist of Xpath (XML Path Language), equality, quantifiers, and logical operators. (2)We can develop validation functions and transformation functions in application forms efficiently, as a DRDL processor can interpret one document rule as both validation procedure and transformation procedure.

In this study we aim to realize an actuator that is comparable with a natural muscle from a viewpoint of flexibility, the output force and the responses. In the 1st report we constructed the Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuator protected by “a rolled film tube” with the high heat resistance and the high flexibility, and it is named “the unit cell”. In this report we constructed an actuator named “a motor unit” with the larger output force by bunching up 7 unit cells, and the characteristics of the motor unit are investigated by the experiments in which the motor unit is driven in Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM). The result of the experiments shows that the static characteristics of the output force and the displacement to the input pulse frequency in the motor unit near proportion relations in comparison with the unit cell still more and the output force increases almost 7 times as large as the unit cell. It is found out that the time constant of the motor unit becomes larger compared to that of the unit cell, and the power conversion efficiency falls when pulse width is extended to improve the time constant.

Educational policies in modern Japan, especially in the early Meiji period, were led by Tanaka Fujimaro, Deputy Minister of Education. At the first time, France was the model of education policies in Japan. Its example was Gakusei (national educational system) enforcement (Imperial Ordinance). In those days, Tanaka participated in the Iwakura Mission, led by Iwakura Envoy Extraordinary and Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the United States and European countries, as commissioner of Education Department. He eagerly conducted educational research in both continents with his staff during 1872-73. And again, he traveled to the United States to take part in the Exposition Fair in Philadelphia, in commemoration of American Centennal Foundation year in 1876. At both times he was impressed with American flexible educational systems, including libraries, small school districts and social institutions, and a variety of state initiatives. In 1879, he enacted the Imperial Educational Ordinance based on the principle of independence for local communities in elementary schools and educational institutions. As a result, his policy was denied by the government of the day, and he was transferred to another post (Minister of Justice).

Dissociative identity disorder (DID) is characterized by the existence of two or more separate and distinct personalities on an ongoing basis. Although the incidence of DID has been increasing in Japan, dental treatments for such patients remain rare. Here, we report our experience providing general anesthesia to a patient with DID and generalized anxiety disorder.  A 30s woman had been diagnosed as having DID at the age of 24 years, and her condition was being managed with medication. Although more than nine personalities had appeared as of the presently reported treatment, her original personality had not appeared for several years. She had numerous dental caries and an extreme fear of dental treatments. Therefore, we planned to perform dental treatments under general anesthesia.  Anesthesia was maintained with 3.0 μg/ml of propofol and 0.05-0.1 μg/kg/min of remifentanil hydrochloride. Since DID patients can respond to anesthetics differently than healthy adults, we used a BIS monitor to ascertain the depth of the anesthesia. Furthermore, the dentists, nurses, and other staff members shared information during the perioperative period. As a result, while changes in the patient’s personality were observed, no serious mental disturbances occurred.

Analysis of the circle test on the actual ship has made it clear that even a low approach speed has influence on the turning circle and that a change in the helm angle tells on the turning circle due to the aspect ratio of the rudder. By making use of these results as well as that of the model test, the Hovgaard-Schoenherr formula was modified, and K3 value was sought with B/d as parameter.In this way the turning circle has come to be estimated very simply.

2011年3月に発生した東日本大震災においては、情報共有と情報発信のプラットフォームとしてTwitter等のソーシャルメディアの役割が注目を集め、これを機に地方公共団体においても公式Twitterの利用が増加傾向にある。しかしながら、実際に公式Twitterがどのように活用されているのか等の実態は明らかになっていない。また、利用を開始していない地方公共団体も多いのが現状である。そこで、長野県の全77市町村を対象に「公式Twitterの利用」に関する調査を実施した。具体的には、既に利用している自治体に対しては運営体制とこれまでの効果や問題点等について、利用していない自治体に対しては利用していない理由や今後の導入予定等を調査した。これらの調査結果より、現在公式Twitterを利用している市町村は全体の2割で、一部のアカウントは災害時のみに情報発信を限っており、フォロワー数も少ないなどあまり活発に利用されていないことが分かった。また、その内6割のアカウントでは返信機能を利用せず、行政からの一方通行での利用となっている、ガイドラインを作成しているのは3割にとどまっているなどの課題が浮き彫りとなった。一方、利用していない市町村の多くがTwitterを情報発信の手段として有効だと感じているが、運用までのルール作りやトラブルによるリスク等から導入をためらっていることが明らかとなった。

低ビットレート環境で使用されるMPEG4の規格化が最終段階を迎えており、将来この技術を利用したテレビ電話・会議システム等の利用が考えられる。聴覚障害者がこれらを利用して、手話によるコミュニケーションを行った場合、MPEG4の各パラメータ(フレーム速度、転送速度、量子化幅)が手話コミュニケーションに対してどのような影響を与えるか、また、その評価下限値を求める実験を行ったので報告する。
