Surface oceans absorb a part of anthropogenic CO2, and it induces changes in carbonate equilibrium of seawater. The seawater is gradually acidified, and saturation status of calcium carbonate is being lowered. These changes in carbonate chemistry would be serious threats for marine organisms (e.g., calcifying organisms). Ecosystems around submarine CO2 vents; CO2 seep, would be natural analogues of ocean acidification (OA) in coastal area, and ecosystem-level studies have been carried out so far. Drastic changes in species composition of primary producers have been reported in several CO2 seep. Common features are decrease in calcifying organisms such as coral and calcifying algae, and increase in mat-forming turf algae and seagrass. Considering such shift of benthic flora, change in primary production in coastal ecosystem is expected. However, there are limited number of direct measurements for photosynthesis, and their reports had focused on only some species living both in/out of CO2 seep. Therefore, the knowledges are limited to the physiological response of the primary producers to OA. In order to quantify the impact on the primary production at ecosystem level, consideration on the shift of flora and estimation per unit community area will be required.

音声・音楽識別は音響コンテンツへのインデキシングやその前処理など、様々な応用が期待されており、現在多くの手法が提案されている。本研究では特に音声・音楽識別に用いられる特徴量に注目し、先行研究で有効性を示されている4種の特徴量の評価を行った。評価には性別やBGMの有無、歌声と楽器音の重畳などを考慮し設定した7種のクラスによりラベル付けをしたデータセットを用い、各特徴量の誤認識の傾向を分析した。Speech/Music discrimination has been studied for various applications such as automatic indexing of audio data. In this paper, we focus on four acoustic features examined in related studies and evaluate these features with audio data sets classified into seven audio classes.

近年IT技術の発展により,デジタル音楽は様々なメディアから入手可能となった.その音楽の量は膨大であるため,何らかの手がかりにより効率的に音楽にアクセスすることが必要である.それは音楽情報検索(MIR)により実現することができる.本研究ではMIRのタスクの一つである楽曲のジャンル分類に関して取り扱う.ジャンル分類は,デジタル化された楽曲データの音情報から特徴量を抽出し,あらかじめジャンルのタグ付けされた事例データから識別器を構築することで実現できる.音声認識において有効な特徴量は通常,10-100[ms]程のフレームから抽出されるため,音楽の短期的な性質しか捉えることが\できない.音楽に使われている楽器などの情報を得るためには,音楽をもっと長期的なスパンで捉えることが必要である.先行研究[1],[3]では,統計量に基づく楽曲レベル特徴量を用いることで音楽を長期的に捉える事を試みている.本研究では,フレームより長い楽曲より短いセグメントレベルの特徴量を用いた楽曲ジャンル推定方法を提案する.

We analyzed impression data and the scale of communication skills of students using text mining method to clarify which area a student was conscious of in communication in practical training. The results revealed that students tended to be conscious of the difference between practical hospital training and practical pharmacy training. In practical hospital training, specific expressions denoting relationships were “patient-visit”, “counseling-conduct”, “patient-counseling”, and “patient-talk”. In practical pharmacy training, specific expressions denoting relationships were “patient counseling-conduct”, “story-listen”, “patient-many”, and “patient-visit”. In practical hospital training, the word “patient” was connected to many words suggesting that students were conscious of a patient-centered communication. In practical pharmacy training, words such as “patient counseling”, “patient”, and “explanation” were placed in center and connected with many other words and there was an independent relationship between “communication” and “accept”. In conclusion, it was suggested that students attempted active patient-centered communication in practical hospital training, while they were conscious of listening closely in patient counseling in practical pharmacy training.

Structure can get various mechanical characteristics by applying periodic structures as typified by lattice structures. Lattice structures are generally used inside the structural member in order to reduce the weight. One advantage of lattice structures is that we do not need to change the whole structural shape when we replace the solid part of a component with the lattice structures. Another advantage is the lightness of the weight, and hence it is important to design a high performance lattice shape with low weight. However, a framework for development of micro lattice structures considering both stiffness and weight has not been established. Thus, we propose a method for designing and producing micro lattice structures. We use a topology optimization method for a designing methodology. Topology optimization is an effective method in designing high performance lattice structure since topology optimization allows us to change the topology and to design a complicated shape. We use a metal additive manufacturing (AM) machine for producing the optimal lattice structures. AM allows us to produce a complicated structure which removal and forming manufacturing cannot produce. We use a bulk modulus as the objective function since it is one of the important mechanical characteristics in design. In this research, we use a homogenization method to compute the bulk modulus. Objective function was modified so that isotropy of the optimal shape is retained when the solution is updated. In addition, structures produced by AM need holes so that internal metal powder can be removed. Hence, we defined the design domain so that the optimal structure becomes open cell structure. Then, high bulk modulus shapes were derived using topology optimization. The lattice structures were produced by metal AM machine after being modified for production.

This study aims, first, to consider thestrengths of people with mental illness, and then to find out some essential factors that would make it easier for them to live in the community, without impairing their strengths. Several questionnaire-type surveys were carried out on university students' strengths during their activities of job-seeking. The data were analyzend by the Grounded Theory Approach and compared to the same king of data on a group of people who have mental illness but live in the community and are suported by day-care services offered by public health-care centers. The first result shows that as to the strengths of people with mental illness living in the cummunity, factors of environmental promotion are few and factors of environmental pooression tend to restrain factors of individual promotion. The recond result shows that as to the strengths of unisersity students during their activities of job-seeking, factors of individual promotion. These suggest that informal social resources (e.g. friends or peers) are very important for people with mental illness living in the communitiy.
