ソフトウェアは,より高度な要求,あるいは時代とともに変化する要求に応えるべく,絶え間なくバージョンアップを繰り返している.しかし,多くのソフトウェアは,今自分の置かれた環境において求められる性能や機能を満たすことばかり偏重し,ほかの環境や将来の環境における互換性をあまり考慮していない.そこで筆者らは,UNIX系OSが最低限満たすべきとした仕様をまとめた国際規格であるPOSIX(Portable Operating System Interface)に着目した.POSIXは現状で多くのUNIX系OSが準拠している上に,1988年の初出以来,その仕様はほとんど維持されている.このような性質を持つ規格に極力準拠しながらプログラミングすることで,ソフトウェアは高い互換性と長い持続性を得られる可能性がある.そして,筆者らはこのようにしてPOSIXの仕様に極力準拠しながらプログラミングをする指針を具体的にまとめ,POSIX中心主義と名付けた.本稿では,POSIX中心主義としてまとめたプログラミング指針を提案するとともに,現在行っている互換性と長期持続性の検証について報告する.

LiFePO<SUB>4</SUB>/C composite particles were prepared by gas-solid phase reaction. The reaction temperature had a detrimental effect on the purity of the composite particles. The suitable temperature was around 650°C, above and below which ferromagnetic impurities were found. The retention time influenced only the carbon deposition amount, but the excess amount of carbon caused the degradation of the electrochemical performance. The specimen prepared at the optimum conditions exhibited superior performances in both rate capability and cycle stability as well as less impedance growth during the cycling.

This paper aims to explore the reasons behind the appearance of unattractive and formalized parks in rural Japanese communities, especially in those wherein community members enthusiastically participate in the planning of the recreation and leisure areas. Traditionally, rural communities in Japan have been characterized by clear boundaries and strong institutions such as Jichikai , having maintained a Gemeinschaft society. In this paper, we analyze the village of Yoza in the southern area of Okinawa’s main island. In 1944, 41% of the villagers were killed during the invasion of the US Army. However, even after losing many community members, these villages have restructured their organizations and have carefully restored and maintained their common buildings and fields during the more than 50 years that have passed since World War II. Usually, parks that have no historical or regional identity and have impersonal atmospheres are planned by the administrative offices of local governments. However, in a few cases, unattractive parks arise even when community members are actively involved in their planning. The Yoza community is such a case. An analysis of the community’s involvement in the planning of park areas revealed two direct reasons, namely, the subsidy system of the central government and the occupation by the Allied Forces, and one fundamental reason, that is, the values of its inhabitants.

調理効率のよいカルシウム摂取のためには,日々の食事を有効に活用することが重要である。そのために,食材中のカルシウム(Ca)含量だけでなく,調理によるカルシウム吸収効率の変化を明らかにする必要である。本報では,未調理ならびに調理済みの牛乳の人工消化処理液をCaco-2細胞単一層に添加し,調理によるCa吸収への影響を検討した。未調理の牛乳中のCaは,他のCa源よりも吸収量が多かった。しかし,きなこや抹茶粉末を添加すると,無添加の牛乳と比較して有意にCa吸収量が低下した。また,65℃ の加熱したホットミルクやベシャメルソースに調理しても,Ca吸収は低下した。また,これらのCa吸収量の変化は,抹茶粉末添加の場合は細胞間経路の阻害により,他の試料の場合は,Caの溶解度変化など細胞間経路に対する間接的な影響によることが示唆された。このように,食事からの効率的なCa吸収のためには,調理によるCa吸収の変化について考慮する必要がある。

目的:ネフローゼ症候群 (NS) の尿中に出現する卵円形脂肪体 (OFB) の細胞学的特徴および細胞起源, 臨床的意義について検討した.方法:尿中にOFBを認めたNS患者31例を対象とし, 細胞学的に検討を行った. うち15例については免疫組織化学的に検討し, 腎生検が施行された16例には組織学的検討と臨床経過を調査した. 対照にはOFBの出現を欠くNS患者15例を用いた.結果:OFBは孤立散在性または細胞集団として出現した. 細胞集団のOFBのなかには, 核の重積性や核濃染を示すものがみられた. 免疫組織化学的には, 集団を作るOFBはCK陽性・CD15陽性・EMA陰性を示し, 孤立散在性のOFBの大部分はCD68陽性・CK陰性を示した. OFB出現症例の腎生検組織には, 尿細管萎縮・間質線維化・間質CD68陽性細胞などが多く認められ, 透析療法に移行した例が対照より有意に多かった.結論:OFBの細胞由来として近位尿細管上皮細胞とマクロファージが示唆された.NSにおけるOFBの出現は, 予後不良を示す因子と考えられた.また細胞集団で出現するOFBのなかに異型性を示すものがあるので, 注意する必要がある.

本論文では,不動産賃貸市場における価格最適化のモデルを提案する.このモデルは,価格弾力性の分析に基づき理論家賃を算出するものである.手順としては,1.市場に従って家賃が変動する物件を選出する 2.エリアおよび物件属性を元にセグメンテーションを行い同一分析対象の物件群を選択する.3.セグメント単位で相場家賃に対する契約家賃の価格弾力性を元に理論家賃を算出する.このモデルにより,従来家賃設定担当者の経験に基づき近隣の競合他社に追随した受動的な価格設定が行われていた不動産賃貸市場において,理論的なプライシングのアプローチが可能となる.このモデルを適用した不動産会社において,市場の期待を超える入居率の向上を狙い通り実現し,その有効性を確認した.This paper proposes a price optimization model for the real estate leasing market. Our model calculates theoretical rent prices based on elasticity analysis. In this model, first the properties experiencing fluctuation according to the market are identified using a theoretical approach. Next, such properties are divided based on their characteristics, such as locations and features. Last, the optimized rent is calculated based on the elasticity between the rent over market and the utilization rate. This model enables a theoretical pricing approach to be used rather than the conventional passive approach based only on the experience of real estate employees. After applying this model to the real estate industry, we proved its effectiveness by realizing results which lead to an improvement in the utilization rate beyond the expectations of the market.

Background:Substantial evidence indicates that molecular hydrogen (H2) has beneficial vascular effects because of its antioxidant and/or anti-inflammatory effects. Thus, hydrogen-rich water may prove to be an effective anti-aging drink. This study examined the effects of H2on endothelial senescence and clarified the mechanisms involved.Methods and Results:Hydrogen-rich medium was produced by a high-purity hydrogen gas generator. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were incubated with 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) for various time periods in normal or hydrogen-rich medium. The baseline H2concentration in hydrogen-rich medium was 0.55±0.07 mmol/L. This concentration gradually decreased, and H2was almost undetectable in medium after 12 h. At 24 h after TCDD exposure, HUVECs treated with TCDD exhibited increased 8OHdG and acetyl-p53 expression, decreased nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+)/NADH ratio, impaired Sirt1 activity, and enhanced senescence-associated β-galactosidase. However, HUVECs incubated in hydrogen-rich medium did not exhibit these TCDD-induced changes accompanying Nrf2 activation, which was observed even after H2was undetectable in the medium. Chrysin, an inhibitor of Nrf2, abolished the protective effects of H2on HUVECs.Conclusions:H2has long-lasting antioxidant and anti-aging effects on vascular endothelial cells through the Nrf2 pathway, even after transient exposure to H2. Hydrogen-rich water may thus be a functional drink that increases longevity. (Circ J 2016; 80: 2037–2046)

高校の教科「情報」には科学的な理解という観点があり,教科「情報」にとって情報科学や情報技術といった親学問を踏まえた授業は必要不可欠です.次期学習指導要領でも扱うこととしています.しかし,情報科学や情報技術を中心とした教科「情報」の授業は,生徒たちに「情報社会は技術決定的である」という誤解を与える危険性があります.ところで,学問における科学とは「自然科学」「社会科学」「人文科学」のことです.科学的な理解を踏まえた授業が必要ならば,これらすべての領域を意識した授業が必要なはずです.教科「情報」の学習対象を情報社会そのものだとするならば,自然科学領域以外にも注目していただけたら幸いです.

次期学習指導要領では新設される共通必履修科目「情報I」にプログラミングが位置付けられ,すべての高校生がプログラミングを学ぶこととなった.「自分が意図する一連の活動を実現する」と示された学習目標の達成に向けて,プログラミング言語・学習環境・授業内容などを検討していくことが必要である.本稿では言語としてJavaScriptを扱っている.ただし,従来のJavaScriptの学習は,操作やエラー表示の点などに課題があったため,それらを解決したオンラインプログラミング学習環境Bit Arrowの教育用JavaScriptを用いた.内容は,プログラムの基本的な制御構造とその利用法を理解させることを目標とした.実践した入門授業における生徒の観察とアンケート結果から,Bit Arrowと授業内容の有用性を評価した.
