A purpose of this paper is to examine John Dewey's political thought in order to search for a democratic business management style in the coming civilized society. First, I grasp Dewey's view on the "eclipse of the public" in the great industrial society by reviewing shortly his most important political philosophical work, The Public and Its Problems. Next, I search for a significance of the relationship between democracy as a social idea and community by investigating the democratic way to rebuild the lost public Dewey proposed. Finally, I examine some significant viewpoints Dewey's political thought will give to the modern business management under the trend of "the politicization of CSR".

本研究では, 自己決定理論による中学生の教師との関係の形成・維持に対する動機づけを測定する尺度を作成し, 教師との関係の形成・維持に対する動機づけと担任教師に対する信頼感との関連を検討した。中学生483名を対象に調査を実施した。第一に, 探索的因子分析を行い「教師との関係の形成・維持に対する動機づけ尺度」を作成した結果, 「内的調整」「同一化」「取り入れ」「外的調整」の4因子構造であることが明らかになった。第二に, 教師との関係の形成・維持に対する動機づけと担任教師に対する信頼感との関連を性別に検討した。その結果, (1) 「自律的動機づけ」が担任教師に対する信頼感と正の関連, (2) 「統制的動機づけ」が負の関連を示すこと, (3) その関連の様相は性別に違いがみられることが明らかになった。(4) また, 教師との関係に対する動機づけで調査対象者を類型化した結果, 統制的動機づけの高い類型の生徒, すべての動機づけが低い類型の生徒の担任教師に対する信頼感が低いことが明らかになった。以上, 本研究の結果から教師と生徒の信頼関係は, 教師側の要因と生徒側の要因が相互作用を繰り返すことで次第に親密になっていく過程である可能性が示唆された。

論文では詳細人体モデルを用いた人体に関する力学解析・シミュレーションを可能にするシステムを提案する。このシステムを応用し、介護作業のプロセスを人体モデルで再現すれば、介護者や被介護者の身体負荷評価や最適動作設計などが可能となり有用性は計り知れない。このシステムを構築するにあたり、人体モデルの詳細度とそのスキーム、最大筋力や動作等の人体内部、外部のパラメータを現実世界から計算機上に取得する手法についてそれぞれ提案し、それらを統合して構築したシステムにおいて実際に横浜市立大学看護学科の協力の下、腰部負荷評価の実験を行いその有効性を検証した。

【目的】青年期において,食生活と精神的健康度の関係を示した疫学データは十分でない。本研究では,大学生の食品摂取パタンを抽出し,精神的健康度との関係を明らかにする。【方法】大学生男女計269人(男性80人,女性189人)を対象に食品群別摂取頻度調査,精神的健康度,生活習慣で構成した自記式質問紙による調査を実施した。食品摂取パタンは,食品群別摂取頻度調査を基に,因子分析を試行した。また,食品摂取パタンと精神的健康度との関係を明らかにするために重回帰分析を行った。【結果】因子分析の結果,食品摂取パタンとして「副食に植物性食品を高頻度に摂取するパタン」,「肉類,卵,油脂類,いも類を高頻度に摂取するパタン」,「主食の摂取パタン」が抽出された。重回帰分析の結果,「肉類,卵,油脂類,いも類を高頻度に摂取するパタン」とGHQの総合得点及びうつ傾向との間に有意な負の関係が認められた。【結論】大学生において,肉類,卵,油脂類,いも類を高頻度に摂取する食品摂取パタンを有する者は,うつ傾向が低いことが示された。

The root washings of water-cultured oat and rice (non-sterile) contained some sort of amphoteric, iron-solubilizing chelating (or complexing) compound(s), which could be separated into a "cationic fraction" by elution in a cation exchanger column with 1N NH_4OH. In oats, the release of the chelator into the washings greatly increased under iron-stress conditions. Under the same condition "iron-inefficient" rice plants also increased the release of the chelator, though to a much less extent than did the oats. Further examination of the "cationic fraction" revealed that this chelator may be a heat-stable, acid-hydrolyzable non-macromolecule of extraordinarily high polarity. In the absence of interfering ions, the chelator was able to solubilize hydrated Fe (III) oxide effectively within a range of pH 4 to 9. Its Fe-solubilizing action was inhibited by the presence of divalent metals, the extent being in the order, Cu>Co≧Zn>Mn>Ca (no inhibition).

刑事裁判実務に長年携わった経験からは、取調べの科学化、あるいは高度化がいかに困難かを指摘せざるを得ない。日本では密室の取調べが定着し、裁判所もこれまでその結果を尊重してきたからである。しかし裁判員裁判をきっかけに、これまでのような供述調書依存の刑事裁判が構造的に変化しつつあり、可視化が進展する素地が生まれつつある。

In this essay I further discuss the 'Black Athena Debate' which has been carried on since the publication of Martin Bernal's first volume of Black Ahena (1987). This debate is mainly concerned with problems formation in 19th century Europe regarding ancient Greek civilization and th influence of Egypt and the Near East. To investigate new possivilities in this debate, I discuss a new study, the African Athena: New Agendas (2011), and examine new points of view developed in this book that show how history has been revised to ignore African (and Semitic) contributions to Greek culture.
