長期入院中の高校生への学習支援が十分行われていない。その支援制度を確立するためには、当事者である入院中の高校生自身が知事への提言という行動を起こさざるを得ない現状がある。そこで本研究では、長期入院する高校生の教育支援方法とその必要性について、日々子どもたちと向き合っている教員という立場から論じる。また、高校生への学習支援制度のない自治体における支援方法のひとつとして、特別支援学校のセンター的機能を活用した高校生への支援についての実践についての効果と課題についても論じる。

4歳,女児.熱発に対して前額部に冷却シートを貼付したところ,翌朝疼痛を伴い水疱形成を混じる紅斑を生じた.冷却シートおよびそれに含まれる植物成分の精油を用いたパッチテストは陰性だった.発熱と発汗により角質バリアーが障害されたために生じた冷却シートによる一次刺激性皮膚炎と考えた.1週間のストロングクラスのステロイド外用で略治した.冷却シートの安全性に対して皮膚科的に検討する必要があると考えた.

イラク戦争を押しすすめた世界観を提供したのは、ネオコンと宗教右派だと言われている。すでに現在では、イラク戦争にたいする反対の声が多くなってきた。しかし、今後、両者の世界観は完全にその思想的な説得力を失うのだろうか。これまでネオコンと宗教右派については「両者がどれほどブッシュ政権にたいして現実的な発言力をもっているのか」ということが論じられてきた。しかし、上記のような問題を考察するためには「両者はどれほどアメリカ国民にたいして思想的な説得力をもっているのか」ということを問わねばならない。そこで、こうした問題を問うために、両者を公共哲学的な観点から比較する。本稿では、両者の世界観がもつ影響力の射程を明らかにし、両者を建設的に批判するための条件を導き出すことを目的とする。第1章では宗教右派の世界観を、第2章ではネオコンの世界観を明らかにし、第3章では、両者の世界観を比較して、その共通点と相違点を浮かび上がらせる。そして最後に、両者を建設的に批判するための手がかりを導きだす。

The presence of oceans and continents is one of the Earth's unique features among the planets in our Solar System. Here I discuss the formation and origin of Earth's oceans and continents by combining the results of geological, geochemical and geophysical studies. The geological and geochemical data provide evidence for the presence of Earth's oceans by ca. 3.8 Ga and probably ca. 4.3 Ga. Yet, oceans could be formed even earlier, possibly soon after the solidification of the magma ocean, especially if the Earth had gained water before the Moon-forming Giant Impact. The hydrogen isotope data for meteorites and mantle-derived terrestrial samples suggest that proto-planets and planetesimals, that accreted to form the Earth, could acquire water from solar nebular and water-rich materials delivered from outer Solar System, respectively. Furthermore, the hafnium isotope systematics of Hadean zircon constrain the timing of magma ocean solidification to as early as 4.5 Ga. The infant solid Earth would be characterized by the stagnant-lid convection regime. Meanwhile, radiogenic heat generation induced vigorous mantle plumes and stagnant plates had been cooled and hydrated. Eventually, the hydrated proto-plates were subducted beneath buoyant oceanic plateaus generated by the mantle plumes, resulting in the onset of plate tectonics. Although there is evidence that granitic rocks were locally formed on the Hadean Earth, the geochemical compositions of sedimentary rocks indicate that the emergence and growth of continents occurred during Middle and Late Archean times. This implies that the time interval from the magma ocean solidification to the onset of global plate tectonics is ~1 Gyr.

Skarns are rocks consisting mainly of calc-silicate minerals (skarn minerals) such as clinopyroxene and garnet, formed by hydrothermal metasomatism along the contact zone typically between limestone and granitic rock. They are sometimes associated with economical Pb–Zn, Mo, Cu, Fe, Sn, and W mineralization (skarn deposits). Skarns consist mainly of one or two skarn minerals, and often show a zonation. In case of skarns (endoskarns) derived from Al-rich rocks such as granitic rocks and sedimentary rocks, in addition to temperature and pressure, the supply of Ca from limestone controls the zonation. On the other hand, in case of skarns (exoskarns) derived from limestone, the supply of Si, Al, Fe and Mg from related granitic rock and other rocks, degassing of CO2, and redox state govern the zonation. The mineralized metal species in skarn deposits are determined by the granitic rock related to the skarn formation. Isotope analyses revealed that magmatic water supplied from the related granitic rock is greatly involved in the early stage of skarn formation, and influence of meteoric water tends to increase in the later stage.

G. T. Fechner proposed his logarithmic law between physical continuum of stimulus and an attribute of sensation in 1860. Fechner also proposed the distinction between outer and inner-psychophysics. Outer-psychophysics deals with the relation between the observable participant's response and stimulus. In outer-psychophysics, it can be postulated that the response is located on the interval scale when the logarithmic law between stimulus and response is established. In inner-psychophysics, the logarithmic law is established in mind on the assumption that the equality of subjective size of just noticeable difference (jnd). However, it is difficult to verify the equality of jnd using empirical procedures. Bergson strongly criticizes that Fechner's law is based on an assumption that cannot be verified. Zwislocki (1991) defines that the measurement entails matching of common attributes of things or events. According to his definition of “Natural Measurement”, we can match the different things or events on the common psychological continuum. As a result, matching operation can ensure the point of subjective equality (PSE) to be a common attribute among different objects. When an appropriate measure is applied, the same PSE from different things or events confirms the same point on the continuum of common attribute of sensation. The PSE is a physical measure. It can be measured using objective or empirical procedure. An important role of psychophysics is to find an appropriate physical measure. Usually, the standardized physical measure of adequate stimulus is modified on the basis of psychophysical data and reflects the characteristics of sensation. Therefore, a good relationship between subjective response to adequate stimulus and a standardized measure can be expected. It is true that the relation between the loudness judgment of various kinds of nonsteady sounds and a standardized index (e. g. equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level: LAeq) exhibits a high coefficient correlation. However, a law derived from the experimental results depends on the psychophysical method used. For example, the method of category scaling results logarithmic law and magnitude estimation results power law. The result of the experiment using the scale discriminative method was introduced to verify whether the logarithmic law or the power law was valid for the loudness judgment. The results showed that participants' quantitative judgments were well adapted to the experimental procedure. Torgerson (1960) suggests that the participants seem to judge the stimulus taking a different strategy depending on the purpose of the experiment. In daily life situations, we are very adaptive to quantitative behavior for satisfying the purpose of the behavior. This poses a problem of ecological validity in psychophysics. Therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate stimuli and method to simulate the daily life situations in the psychophysical experiments. Main attributes of auditory sensation are loudness, pitch and timbre. Both loudness and pitch are one dimensional, but timbre or tone quality is multidimensional. It is difficult to constitute rating scale of tone quality expressed by only one physical dimension, and at present, it is far from to establish a general psychophysical rule for applying to tone quality. However, if the sound source is limited, a possibility of establishing a physical scale to predict tone quality. Some examples of the machine sound's tone quality control were introduced.

高齢の慢性心不全患者は増加しており,感染の合併などで高率に急性増悪を来し,フロセミド静脈注射,トルバプタン内服治療が行われている。しかし,一定の頻度で難治性患者(フロセミドやトルバプタンに対するノンレスポンダー)が存在し,臨床上問題になっている。今回我々は,難治性の心不全に五苓散が著効した2症例を経験した。五苓散投与により2症例とも尿量が増加し,症状,理学所見,各種の検査所見は著明に改善した。さらに退院後,これらの薬剤は継続投与され,心不全の増悪による再入院は約1年間にわたって回避された。この結果は,五苓散の臓器,組織の水の偏在を正常化する作用,および腎集合管におけるトルバプタンの作用を再活性化させた可能性が考えられ,今後,慢性のうっ血性心不全に対する五苓散併用の有用性が示唆された。
