大分県の国東半島南東部の塩性湿地および砂浜・砂丘の植物群落の現状を把握し,約20年前の植生調査データと比較することを目的として,5つの調査地で,総計50ヵ所の植生調査(調査区サイズ:1 m × 1 m)を行った.得られたデータをNoise clusteringで類型し,主に優占種の違いに基づく14のクラスターが認識され,大きく塩性湿地タイプと砂浜・砂丘タイプに分けられた.塩性湿地においては,すべての調査地で,特有のクラスターが認識された.一方,砂浜・砂丘においては,特定の調査地ですべてのクラスターが認識され,残りの調査地では一部のクラスターしか認識されなかった.過去の植生資料と比較した結果,各調査地レベルでは,一部の植物群落は消失し,一部の植物群落が新たに出現していた.これらの海岸植生の20年間の変化についての現状と過去との比較の情報は,地域の植物相の保全に役立つと考えられる.

<p>The main topic addressed in this paper is to support university students who start their job-hunting activities by sharing information of job-hunting and work experiences their old boys/girls in the same department had. However, it is not so easy for the students to obtain information concerning such experiences since there are few opportunities to make personal connections with their old boys/girls. In order to resolve this issue, we had developed a SNS (Social Networking Service) system, which helps students gather informal and experiential information. It includes two main services as follows: one is to gather information concerning job-hunting and work experiences from the old boys/girls by means of a theme blog service, and the other is to make personal connections between the students and old boys/girls by means of a search engine and a tracer that allow the students to find informative blog entries contributed by the old boys/girls. This paper demonstrates the SNS system, and reports a preliminary case study in a laboratory scale. The results of the case study suggest that the system enables the old boys/girls to write down their informal experiences with the theme blog, and that the system allows the students to have instructive information from the blog entries via the tracer.</p>

[Purpose] This study aimed to investigate the effect of shoulder positions and speeds on internal and external rotation torque of college baseball players and age-matched non-players. [Subjects] Twenty first-level collegiate baseball players and 19 college students were recruited. [Methods] A dynamometer system was used to evaluate the shoulder rotation strength in sitting postures. Three testing positions, namely shoulder abduction of 45°, 70°, and 90° in the scapular plane, were combined with three testing speeds at 60°/s, 120°/s, and 210°/s. [Results] The maximum external and internal rotation torques both occurred at shoulder abduction of 70°. However, only external rotation torque was affected by the speed, with the peak value observed at 60°/s. The internal rotation torque of baseball players was larger than that of the control group under all testing conditions, but the external rotation did not show any difference. The ratio of external to internal rotation torque changed with the testing positions and speeds in both groups. The ratio in the control group was greater than that in the player group. [Conclusion] The shoulder position could affect the rotational strength, and the baseball players could strengthen their external rotators for better performance and injury prevention.

This study discussed the estimation of asbestos waste generation from both dispersed and undispersed asbestos building materials in building demolition by comparing three possible future outcomes, from “30±2 years Longevity Scenario”, “Simple Remaining-rate Function Scenario” and “Floating Remaining-rate Function Scenario”. The main results are as follows,1. Each scenario led quite different future outcomes, especially in case of undispersed asbestos building materials wastes. And there is a possibility of leading the false outcome by “30±2 years Longevity Scenario” for the generated period and the maximum quantity.2. “Simple Remaining-rate Function Scenario” and “Floating Remaining-rate Function Scenario” led similar outcomes in case of dispersed asbestos building materials wastes, though the latter is a little less until middle of the 2020's.3. These outcomes have a big influence on the future management of processing and disposal of asbestos waste.
