Im Oktober und November 1940 wurden psychiatrische Zensusuntersuchungen in einigen japanischen Inzuchtgebieten durchgeführt. Urn die Einflüsse der Inzucht auf Psychosenhäufigkeit zu finden, wurden gleichzeitig die Inzuchtgrade der betreffenden Bevökerung untersucht. Diese Untersuchungen werden in mehreren Gebieten noch weiter fortgesetzt. Hier berichten Verff.. vorläufig über die Ergebnisse in bis heute erforschten drei Zählbezirken, welche durch Jahrhunderte lang deuernde Inzucht charakterisiert sind.

トマス・ペッゲは、現代においてコスモポリタニズムを提唱する代表的な政治理論家であり、ロールズの国際正議論の忌憚のない批判者でもある。ポッゲのコスモポリタン正議論は自らのグローバル正議論に基づいており、そのグローバル正議論は、ロールズに従って、社会構造、とりわけ社会制度の観点から提起されている。ポッゲは、西洋の豊かな市民が形成するグローバルな制度秩序がグローバルな貧しい人々に対して危害を加えており、それゆえ、西洋の豊かな国々には、危害を加えないという正義の消極的義務があると主張する。ポッゲの制度的アプローチによれば、危害を加える制度秩序を支える人は、もし危害を被る人の保護と制度改革の推進に向け道理に適った努力をしないのであれば、その制度に協力し、消極的義務を犯しているとみなされる。ポッゲが提唱する制度的コスモポリタニズムも社会正義コスモポリタニズムもともに、人権の制度的理解に基礎を置く。制度的人権は、「人権は消極的義務のみを伴う」というリバタリアンの制約のもとで理解されている。ロールズの正議論に依拠するように見えても、ポッゲの理論は、それをグローバルに拡大するコスモポリタニズムではなく、リバタリアンの規範を前提に構築されており、それがポッゲ批判の焦点となっている。

文科系学生に対するプログラミング導入教育は,数学,数理論理学に対する学生の知識不足から困難が多い.本研究では,大学文科系学部1年生へのプログラミング導入教育として,Scratchを使用した成果について検討した.理解度アンケートから,反復構造などの理解は深まっていた一方で,フローチャートに対する理解は十分ではないという結果を得た.

このテキストは工業高等専門学校5年生の集中講義として計画された.少々難解でも話題性のある題材を扱った.通常の媒質は等方性であるが,結晶は異方性であることが多い.異方性は方向によって誘電率が異なることに起因する.異方性媒質中では,波面の進む方向とエネルギーの進む方向とが一般的には異なったり,像が二重に見えるなどの興味ある現象が表れる.まずこれらを扱う結晶光学を勉強する.次に,非線形光学へと進む.非線形光学は,レーザ光の高いエネルギー密度を利用して結晶内で周波数を変換する(波長を変換する)などの興味ある応用を実現した.近年では非線形光学を利用して量子力学的暗号化を行うなどの研究もなされている.

本研究はTOEIC スピーキングテスト (TOEIC S)とTOEIC リスニング&リーディングテスト (TOEIC L&R)、WTC(話をしたいという気持ち)のレベルを測定する調査票、最小英語テスト(MET)、語彙レベルテスト(VLT)、語彙サイズテスト(VST)のスコア間の相関関係および被験者のTOEIC Sに対する反応を調べた。TOEIC SスコアはTOEIC L&Rスコアとの間に.52、WTC調査票スコアとの間に.39、METとの間に.53、VLTとの間に.58、VSTとの間に.33の相関があった(全てp < .001)。被験者のTOEIC Sに対する反応は概ね肯定的であった。

Nakae Chomin is well known for translating Jean Jacques Rousseau's Du contrat social into classical Chinese. He was a scholar of French thought, a statesman, and a businessman in his later years. At the end of his life, Nakae announced that he was dying of cancer. His final works, Ichinen yu han and Zoku Ichinen yu han were presented as posthumous documents, thought they were published while he was still alive. These books were read by many people, and clearly demonstrated his atheistic and materialistic ideas about life and death. His thought attracted a great deal of attention, and there was a great deal of speculation as to whether or not Nakae's actual manner of dying would conform to his stated principles. Nakae's funeral was held as "a farewell ceremony" without religious content. It is known as the first "kokubetu-shik? to have been held in Japan. Despite the protests of those close to him, Nakae insisted that his funeral be held without religious ceremony. Some at the time described his request as selfish. In the Meiji era, with some exceptions, people generally did not accept Nakae's ideas about the funeral ceremony. However, in the 1970s some thinkers, particularly those concerned with medical issues, began to express the opinion that one's funeral is a final expression of one's life. These ideas have become more publically accepted in the last decade.

In the consolidation of the modern state, advanced sections of the community often lead other, less-advanced ones and sometimes enforce consolidation by conquest. In Japan, the four feudal clans of Satsuma, Choshu, Tosa and Higo formed a state through a secure consolidation with the emperor system, and thus brought into being a nation ruled by a feudal clique.

Cosmic ray particles entering the atmosphere interact with the air nuclei and produce neutrinos. These neutrinos are called atmospheric neutrinos. The atmospheric neutrino anomaly observed in Kamiokande is now understood as due to neutrino oscillations by high statistics measurements of the atmospheric neutrinos in Super-Kamiokande. The studies of the atmospheric neutrinos have matured into detailed studies of neutrino masses and mixings.
