本論文では,音楽理論Generative Theory of Tonal Music (GTTM)に基づき,曲をフレーズ,モチーフなどに自動でグルーピングするシステムについて述べる.楽曲の切れ目を発見する手法は従来からも検討されてきたが,それらは主にメロディの局所的な境界を求めることが主眼であった.GTTMによるグルーピングでは,そのような局所的な境界を求めると同時に,メロディの繰返しなどを発見し,階層的な全体構造を獲得することを目的とする.しかしながら,GTTMは多数のルールから構成されており,その適用に関して優先順序が定義されていないため,グルーピング構造を獲得をするためにはこれまで恣意的・非手続き的な手作業が必要であった.この問題を解決するため,本研究では,計算機実装用にルールを再形式化したGTTMの計算機モデルexGTTMを提案する.exGTTMの特長は,ルールの優先順位を決めるためのパラメータを導入したことである.計算機上に実装したexGTTMを用いてグルーピング構造分析を行い性能を評価した. : This paper describes a grouping system which segments a music piece into units such as phrases or motives, based on the Generative Theory of Tonal Music (GTTM). Previous melody segmentation methods have only focused on detecting local boundaries of melodies, while the grouping analysis of GTTM aims at building a hierarchical structure including melodic repetition as well as such local boundaries. However, as the theory consists of a number of structuring rules among which the priority is not given, groups are acquired only by the ad hoc order of rule application. To solve this problem, we propose a novel computational model exGTTM in which those rules are reformalized for computer implementation. The main advantage of our approach is that we attach a weight on each rule as an adjustable parameter, which enables us to assign priority to the application of rules. In this paper, we show the process of grouping analysis by exGTTM, and show the experimental results.

The Paris Manuscript of the Jami' al-tavarikh of Rashid al-Din (Bibliothèque Nationale, Supplément persan 1113), adorned with 109 miniatures, is one of the best manuscripts of this work. É. Blochet put this manuscript in high esteem, considering it to have been completed in 1304-1318. However, B. Gray and other art historians opposed this, stating that the manuscript in question is of later date, namely of Timurid period. The close examinations of this manuscript both in text and miniatures in comparison with other contemporary manuscripts (Revan 1518, Hazine 1654, etc.) reveal to us the fact that this manuscript actually belongs to the earliest manuscripts of the Jami' al-tavarikh, and that it was completed most probably in 1304-1318 as was originally maintained by É. Blochet.

The Tehran Manuscript of the Jami' al-tavarikh (Kitabkhanah-i Majlis-i Shuray-i Milli, MS no. 2294) has so far been neglected in the scholarly world in general save in Japan where some scholars used the facsimile edition of this manuscript in their scholarly articles. This manuscript was, however, only partially utilized in them, and the true value of it remains unknown to the world.This article intends to bring to light the unique features of this manuscript in comparison with other manuscripts such as Istanbul Manuscript (Revan Köškü 1518) and Paris Manuscript (Supplément persan 1113) and to prove that it is actually older and much more accurate manuscript of the Jami' al-tavarikh than the Istanbul Manuscript which has so far been considered to be the best and oldest manuscript of the same work.

Analyses of a single pile, a pile group and a piled raft in a homogenous elastic ground subjected to earthquake are carried out using FEM and a simplified analysis method, In the FEM analyses, the raft and the piles are modelled by solid elements, or the raft is modelled by the thin plate elements and the piles are modelled by beam elements. As a simplified analysis method, a three-dimensional dynamic analysis of piled raft foundations subjected to earthquake using a hybrid model is proposed in this paper. In the analysis, the flexible raft and the pile are modelled as thin plates and beam elements, respectively. The soil is treated as springs and dashpots. The results from different modelling are compared, in order to investigate adequate modelling of raft, pile and ground and to investigate dynamic responses of the pile foundations. It is shown from the analyses that horizontal displacements and horizontal accelerations are not influenced by methods of modelling. In contrast, vertical responses such as vertical displacements hence the rocking motion of the pile, axial forces of the pile are influenced by methods of modelling, although the vertical responses are much smaller than the horizontal responses. Details of the results of the analyses are presented, and suggestions for the improvement of the simplified analysis method are discussed.

近年,様々な分野でコンピュータを利用した組込みシステムが利用されるようになってきている.これらの組込みシステムを構成する要素の中でも特にそれらに組み込まれて動作する組込みソフトウェアの信頼性を如何に確実なものとするかは極めて重要な課題となってきている.本稿では,組込みソフトウェアの品質を向上させるための考え方を紹介していく.
