PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)の整備、電子政府・電子役所の設立に伴い、公的機関へ提出する申請書類が電子化され、インターネットを用いた申請手続き(住民票の発行等)が一般化することが予想される。しかしある程度専門知識が要求される申請手続き(自動車の新規登録や特許の申請等)は、専門知識を有する代理人に申請手続きを代行させることが望ましく、そのためのシステム整備が必要である。そこで本稿では電子委任状を用いることにより公的機関等への申請手続き(自動車登録、特許等)を本人に代って代理人が代行できるシステムを提案すると同時に、実用化への一考察を述べる。

Effect of Capriquat (trioctylmethylammonium chloride) on the extract ion of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA=Htta) was studied. The experimental procedure was as follows: An aqueou ssolution (10.0ml) containing metal ion (M_<2+>) and acetate buffer solution (pH=4.75) was taken in a separatory funnel. An equal volume of the extractant solution which is a mixture of TTA and Capriquat in benzene was added. The mixture was then shaken, and the absorbance of the organic phase was measured. Concentrations of the remainig nickel(II) and cobalt(II) in the aqueous phase were determined by spectrophotometry. Both of the valence-saturated chelate M(tta)_2 and the co-ordination-saturated complex M(tta)_3-could be formed and extracted into benzene in the presence of Capriquat. The extraction of the former chelate was observed to occur in lower concentration region of TTA or Capriquat, and the extraction rates for Co(tta)_2 and Ni(tta)_2 were accelerated by the addition of Capriquat. However, the formation of Co(tta)_3- and Ni(tta)_3 from M(tta)_2 was found to be very slow. In contrast, the rates of extraction for Cu(tta)_2 and Cu(tta)_3- were very high, and the above equilibria were reached within 10 seconds.

Double crystallizations during warming observed with the certain compositions of NaCl-glucose-water system solution, were investigated by X-ray diffraction. From the results a lower temperature crystallization is identified as ice formation. Viscosities of the ternary system solutions were measured at 30℃. Viscosities of NaCl-glucose-water system solutions are higher than those of KCl-glucose-water system solutions in the same compositions.

As study of multidrug efflux pumps is a crucial step for development of efflux pump inhibitors for treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection, the objective of this study was to examine the contribution of the MexXY multidrug efflux systems and other chromosomal mechanisms in aminoglycoside (AMG) resistance in P. aeruginosa isolated from dogs and cats. Thirteen Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from canine and feline infections were examined for contribution of the MexXY multidrug efflux pump and four other chromosomally-encoded genes including PA5471, galU, nuoG and rplY to AMG resistance. All the isolates were resistant to multiple AMGs and expressed mexXY. Deletion of mexXY caused 2- to 16-fold reduction in AMG MICs. Overproduction of MexXY did not fully account for the observed AMG resistance. No good correlations were detected between MexXY transcription level and AMG MICs. While no mutations were found in mexZ, PA5471 expression varied and its impact on MexXY expression and AMG resistance is diverse. No mutations were found in galU. Only two isolates carried a single base change G-367-T in rplY. Complete transcription of nuoG was detected in all the isolates. In conclusion, the MexXY multidrug efflux pump plays a role in AMG resistance in the dog and cat P. aeruginosa isolates, while disruption of nuoG, rplY and galU did not have a significant impact. These results indicate the existence of uncharacterized AMG-resistance mechanisms.

The purpose of this article is to review the development of qualitative studies on school and childhood as well as youth in Germany. The focus of this review will be on studies dealing with the changing experiences of students at school in the post modern age. Moreover, comparable changes in the relationships between students and school in Japan will be also taken into consideration. Studies on this issue in Germany are characterized by the following two points: The first is that perspectives of the studies on school as well as those on childhood and youth are converging increasingly. The second is that research perspectives on the macro, meso, and micro levels are connected with each other. This article deals with two topics which contributed in 1980s to forming the basis of the actual trend mentioned above: "individualization theory" discussed by U. Beck as well as "narrative analysis" developed by F. Schiitze. Then, light will be thrown upon the development of life story studies of students which have been forming the main stream of qualitative research in Germany. Finally, implications of this research trend in Germany for Japanese contemporary situation will be discussed. It indicates the necessity to pay attention to subjective perspectives of individual students who have their own life stories and to explore what they experience school.

私達は,高校初学年に於いて必修をめざして,物理を基礎とし,物理,化学,生物,地学を短括した新しい科目である包括的理科を提案している。包抵的理科のめざすものは,科学的概念が自然現象を理解するのにとどまらず,科学的概念が日常生活において,読み・書き・そろばんと同様不可欠であることを示すことにある。包括的理科を実現するためには,定性から定量への数量化が重要となる。本論文では,以上についての具体例を通して包括的理科が全ての高校生にとって必修に値することを述べる。
