2型糖尿病患者708例を対象に,一年間の直接医療費として,外来医療費を算出した.外来医療費は,平均で38.8万円/年であり,年齢,糖尿病の罹病年数とともに増加した.非薬物療法群で18.7万円/年,経口薬群で30.9万円/年,インスリン群で57.5万円/年であった.細小血管症,大血管症については,合併群では非合併群に比し,外来医療費が高額であった.動脈硬化の危険因子として,高血圧症,高LDL-C血症,肥満,CKDステージ3期以降を挙げた場合,保有数の増加に伴い外来医療費も上昇した.重回帰分析では,これら4つのうち,CKDステージ3期以降と高血圧が,外来医療費の有意な説明因子であった.2型糖尿病の外来医療費には,年齢,罹病期間,治療内容や血管合併症,動脈硬化の危険因子などが関係する.加えて,eGFRの低下や動脈硬化のサロゲートマーカーが異常を示す場合は,積極的な検索による合併症予防が,将来的な医療費抑制につながる可能性がある.

地球環境問題がなぜ起きたのか探究した筆者は,人類,文明,言語の起源を訪ねて,最古の現生人類遺跡として知られる南アフリカ・クラシーズ河口洞窟を訪問した.あまりに快適な居住環境は,そこが人類誕生の地であることを思わせた.東アフリカの地下トンネル中で生活するハダカデバネズミの音声通信とヒトの話し言葉を比較し,符号語の数が3〜4桁も異なることを考究し,この違いはヒト言語のデジタル性にあると思った.情報理論や分子生物学の研究成果を参照した結果,ヒト話し言葉の背後には誰もまだ概念化できていないデジタル原理があり,それがオートマトンとして言語システムを駆動していると思った.

The baillis and seneschals were the key men in the field administration of Medieval France. It has been generally understood that despite their different denominations in the south and the north, they had almost identical functions in the royal administration. The author calls this general understanding into question, and makes clear differences in their administrative functions. He suggests that we should treat the baillis and seneschals as different officials, because the region of bailliages and that of senechaussees were under different administrative systems. He proposes a new framework to understand the administrative structure of Philip IV.

脳卒中片麻痺患者39名を対象に歩行速度および歩行自立度に関与する因子を知る目的で, 上田による12段階片麻痺回復グレード法(以下グレード), 患側下肢荷重率, 患側下肢筋力, 深部感覚障害, 身長, 体重, 罹病日数, 年齢を選びその関連性を検討した。その結果, 歩行速度・歩行自立度に対して高い相関を示したのはグレード, 患側下肢荷重率, 患側下肢筋力であった。また, 三変数間の相関も高かった。さらに歩行能力の二つの指標を目的変数としたステップワイズ重回帰分析の結果では, 歩行速度の第一要因は患側下肢荷重率であるのに対し, 歩行自立度の第一要因はグレードとなっていた。以上の結果から片麻痺の歩行予後予測には運動機能評価における定性的評価に加えて, 定量的評価が重要であることが示唆された。

Japan’s hosting of the 2020 Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics is bringing the attention of global media and the world more than the country has experienced since the economic bubble years of the last century. NHK, Japan’s quasi-official broadcaster, is ratcheting up its world service in advance of this international spotlight, which is consequently bringing more attention to the country’s low press freedom ranking, last among the Group of Seven industrialized nations, and 67 among 180 nations and regions, according to Reporters Without Borders. This ranking places Japan above Lesotho and below El Salvador. The Shinzo Abe administration and other government officials are often at odds with press coverage that is critical of the government, reinforced by no public debate on the 2013 state secrets protection law and a unilateral cabinet decision in 2014 to change the pacifist nature of the Constitution of Japan. This chapter will explore the press and politics environment of modern Japan, specifically NHK’s role as an enabler network to the needs and whims of the government. Finally, it will underscore the challenges faced by the Abe administration’s global nation branding efforts against the backdrop of international attention and criticism of Japan’s press-government relations.

This paper deals with RS 15. 30+15. 49+17. 389 (H. 6) excavated in Ras Shamra, from a cultural historical point of view.We can see that the Hurrianized Akkadian terms, together with the numerals of H. 6 are related to a type of musical instruction. We know many terms for musical instructions in ancient Near Eastern texts for example, in the Convers Tablet and in the headings of the Book of Pslam. We have also identified the cheironomy in the reliefs of ancient Egypt. The musical instruction of H. 6 is very unique, because it is the letter notation which shows how to sing a song in detail. The terms and the writing system of H. 6 indicate that the notation of this text was influenced by Mesopotamian culture. This notation might have been brought from Mesopotamia to Ugarit by the Hurrians. And it is characteristic that this Hurrian system of musical notation was used in the kingdom of Ugarit.We can identify the designation for the genre of the song (nid qabli) in the colophon of the H. 6 text. This term is related to a type of mode. The mode of H. 6 can be interpreted by means of the Babylonian tuning text (U. 7/80). This tuning text may indicate that the ancient Babylonians had a heptatonic system in making use of the fourth and fifth. This heptatonic system of using the fourth and fifth is well known in Greek musical theory. We can see that the nid qabli mode in the H. 6 text is related to the Lydian one. Therefore, the musical life of Ugarit suggests a linkage between Babylonian and Greek musical life.

JavaScript は教科 「情報」 の教科書でも採用されており,教育現場での実績が豊富な言語である.文部科学省が 2019 年 5 月に一時的に公開した教員研修資料でも掲載が決まっているが,プログラミング部分は Python のみが先行公開され,JavaScript による研修教材の公開は延びている.研修教材の公開が更に遅れたり,万が一不十分な形で公開されたりした場合,既に JavaScript 言語でプログラミング教育を行っている学校や地域は不利益を被ってしまう.そこで,研修資料をJavaScript 言語で実施する上でのサンプルコード作成や課題と解決方法などを検討して論じたい.
