2002~2013年に日本の学協会誌に掲載された論文120万9,674本を対象に,どの程度オンラインで入手できるのかを調査した。調査にあたっては1)CiNii Articlesを用いた調査,2)J-STAGE・メディカルオンラインへの収録状況調査,3)サーチエンジンを用いたサンプリング調査,という3つの方法を採用した。結果から,日本の学協会誌掲載論文のうち,7割以上は何らかの形でオンラインで入手可能であると見積もられた。特に英語論文や自然科学分野の論文は,オンラインで入手可能なものが多い。一方で,人文学分野ではオンラインで入手できる論文が43.7%,社会科学分野でも51.5%にとどまっていた。

This paper examines the change in images of transgendered and on-transgendered people and their relationship to a Japanese transgender drama group by analyzing six scripts written between 2000 and 2011. In the early dramas, transgender characters whose gender identity was depicted to be clearly the opposite of their assigned identity were in the foreground. However, later on, people whose identities were unique, reflective and not ready-made social identities with essential qualities began attracting attention. This transformation of the transgender characters in the dramas also reflects changes in the relationship between transgendered and non-transgendered people. The early dramas emphasized that it is necessary for non-transgendered people to be considerate toward transgendered people. Therefore a non-transgendered person was under the impression that had to accept and understand transgendered people. However, transgendered people seemed to show consideration for other transgendered and non-transgendered people over time. And, non-transgendered people were depicted as having emotional scars or some stigma, and should receive consideration in later dramas. This gradually led to the concept of gender identity disorder becoming less important, and transgendered people were required to always be considerate toward all individuals.

2004年10月30日,米国ハワイ州オアフ島にあるマノア渓谷に観測史上最悪の集中豪雨が襲った。流木や瓦礫(がれき)でふさがれたマノア川の橋が流れをせき止め,鉄砲水がハワイ大学マノア校キャンパスを直撃し,40施設が多大な被害を被った。中でも太平洋地域最大の研究図書館であるハミルトン図書館の受けた被害は20億円以上という大惨事となった。図書館機能を担う中枢部が全壊し,1世紀近くの年月をかけ収集し,保存してきた政府刊行物,地図,航空写真は泥水の中に埋没した。本稿はハミルトン図書館が体験したこの大災害の記録である。災害の実態,対応,復旧の実体験を関係者のインタビュー,災害記録等を基に紹介する。

This pilot study illustrates that the conceptual analysis of ordinary language helps the development of behavior analysis. There are two major approaches of modern psychology, cognitive psychology and behavior analysis. Each psychology accepts private events as the subject mater of each science, however the way of interpreting private events is completely different. In cognitive psychology, the private events are interpreted with using ordinary language directly and it remains folk psychology as a consequence. On the other hand, in behavior analysis, they are interpreted with redefined technical terms based on three-term contingency as a conceptual framework for analyzing behavior. However, this study shows the possibility of a new folk psychology in order to develop behavior analysis, through the conceptual analysis of the usage of "mind" ("Kokoro" in Japanese) in the Japanese verbal community.

Cooperative behaviors are common in humans and are fundamental to our society. Theoretical and experimental studies have modeled environments in which the behaviors of humans, or agents, have been restricted to analyze their social behavior. However, it is important that such studies are generalized to less restrictive environments to understand human society. Social network games (SNGs) provide a particularly powerful tool for the quantitative study of human behavior. In SNGs, numerous players can behave more freely than in the environments used in previous studies; moreover, their relationships include apparent conflicts of interest and every action can be recorded. We focused on reciprocal altruism, one of the mechanisms that generate cooperative behavior. This study aims to investigate cooperative behavior based on reciprocal altruism in a less restrictive environment. For this purpose, we analyzed the social behavior underlying such cooperative behavior in an SNG. We focused on a game scenario in which the relationship between the players was similar to that in the Leader game. We defined cooperative behaviors by constructing a payoff matrix in the scenario. The results showed that players maintained cooperative behavior based on reciprocal altruism, and cooperators received more advantages than noncooperators. We found that players constructed reciprocal relationships based on two types of interactions, cooperative behavior and unproductive communication.

成年後見制度は、判断能力が不十分な人の身上に配慮しつつ、「本人意思を尊重した自己決定の尊重」と「本人の保護」との調和を図ることを制度の理念としている。しかし、判断能力が不十分な人の意思確認は困難を要する場合も多く、本人の最善の利益を成年後見人等が本人に代わって判断しなければならない。社会福祉士が成年後見活動を行う際には、身上に配慮した生活支援のあり方について何を根拠に決定したのか、専門職としての説明責任を果たさなければならない。そのためにはアセスメント項目を明確にする必要があると考え、本研究を開始した。本稿は研究の第一段階として、実際に後見活動を行っている社会福祉士に聴き取り調査を行った結果報告の第一報である。5事例を分析した結果、「安定した生活環境がある」「本人からの訴えの有無」「社会通念」「家庭裁判所の判断」「経済状態」「家族状況」といった要素を見出すことができた。

京都大学附属図書館では、平成8年度から世界へ向けて情報発信を目指した電子図書館システム(京都大学エンサイクロペディア)を計画し、平成10年3月より正式公開した。このシステムの主要な機能の1つである新しいデータベースとして、附属図書館の所蔵する貴重資料の画像テータを含んだマルチメディアデータベースがある。このデータベースの作成を電子図書館の公開に先行して平成8年度科学研究費で実施した経緯を報告する。併せて画像データ作成テスト結果の概要を報告する。

谷崎の映画テクストをもとに、明治四十四年から大正五年に谷崎が受容した映画の概要と評価を確認し、いかなる要素が作品に抽出されているか分析した。映画の倒錯性、非現実性を好んだ谷崎は、映画タイトルを用いた修辞によって作品世界に同様の性質を付与していた。また谷崎の映画テクストにおいて特徴的な要素である俳優に対するまなざしは、この時期既に萌芽していた。更に、谷崎の映画受容とその記録からは、第一次世界大戦前におけるヨーロッパ映画の隆盛を看取できた。
