わが國のダム用セメントは1934年(昭和9年)に初めて造られ,今日までに3ケ所のダムで實際に使用された。その量は合計して11萬トンに達している。この量は全體のセメント生産量から考えると,ほんの九牛の一毛にしか當らないが,しかし今後この使用量は朴當增加するであろう。ダム用セメントに要求される最も大切な性質は,凝結,硬化のときに發生する熱すなわち水和熱がなるべく小さいということである。この意味で現在ダム用セメントといわれているものには,主として低發熱型のポルトランドセメントがあり,その水和熱は廣い意味では大體普通セメントの65~90%位いに相當する。普通セメントの最終水和熱量は,大體,MgSO4・H2O(硫酸マグネシウムー水鹽)が水に溶解するときの總熱量に等しい。

スケープゴーティングとは、何らかのネカティブな事象が生起、あるいは生起が予見されている際に、事態発生や拡大・悪化に関する因果関係・責任主体が不明確な段階で、原因や責任をある対象に帰属したり、その対象を非難することが、一定の集合的広がりをもって行われることである。また因果関係の枠外にある対象に対する責任帰属や非難、そしてそのような認知や行為が共有化されていくプロセスもスケープゴーティングに含める。このスケープゴーティングにおいて、対象となるものをスケープゴートと呼ぶ。ここでは、スケープゴーテイングの発生プロセスに関するモデルを構成し、さらにスケープゴーティングを促進するマスメディアの報道特性やスケーフゴートの時間経過による変遷プロセス(波紋モデル)について述べる。

The analysis of the evolution of forest management in the historical periods is an important tool in estimating changes of society’s perception of forest resources. This paper describes in brief the historical evolution of forest management in Europe and in Japan and the motivations of these changes. In particular, the paper analyses three periods: pre-industrial (from the Middle-ages until the mid-17th century), industrial (from the mid-17th until the mid-20th century) and the postindustrial period (from the late-20th centure until today). For every period it describes the main management systems adopted and the theoretical aspects that have determined their development.

This study was performed to examine the way people suffering from illnesses ask for the name of their condition, by analyzing self-diagnoses and one case. When people concerned give a name to their illness, it leads either to relief of their pain, presents a new opportunity for coping with it, or causes additional distress, causing them to stop thinking and lose sight of themselves. In this case, the client diagnosed his illness as pervasive developmental disorder because he tried to explain his feeling of absence to himself and find his identity with the name. Moreover, through the name, he appealed to the therapist for approval. The client's confession of self-diagnosis to the therapist is an expression of the difficulties of living, considered as a negative self-introduction. It is often difficult to accept an illness and suffering even if it is given a name. Above all, it is important that a therapist has a receptive attitude toward a client's feeling of sorrow in the self-diagnosis.

New electric power generation system with water drops based on the principle of electrostatic induction are considered. The preliminary experiments on the devise with one stage for the system are carried out for examining the possibility of effective collection of the electric charge. Dependence on devise parameters such as an applied voltage on the electrode, the length and width of its plate are examined in this experiment. It is found that amount of the collected charge increases with the applied voltage and the length of the electrode plate and the amount decreases with the width of the plates. It is also found that there is the upper limit on the amount of charge owing to water drops hitting on the electrode plate. For the survey of an electric power generation station with multi-stage system, the another device with two stage is constructed and examined.
