This paper explores the fantasy of violating corpses in Rat Man case, which Freud omitted from his case report and psychoanalytical records. We discuss this uncanny fantasy in terms of direction in Freud's interpretation. First, we consider how Freud describes this fantasy in his records, and show that Freud averts his glance from scenes of violating the corpse to the act of "gazing," and to infant sexuality. Second, we consider Freud's counter-transference to Rat Man, and ascend to Freud's anxious dream in his childhood, memories in his infancy, and his lecture on the cradle of his psychoanalytic theory. We can find corpses (the dead and ghosts) in these materials, and discuss Freud's own resistance to the corpse. Third, we consider Rat Man's main compulsive symptom concerning repayment that can never be done, and correlate it with the feeling of indebtedness to the dead (corpse). In one of his articles, "Leonard da Vinci," Freud quotes accounts of expenses for burial that Leonard documented when his mother died. These accounts are similar to Rat Man's symptom as a characteristic of compulsive neurosis. Also, we discuss Rat Man's anal erotic ideas about "rats," and show a lack in those ideas –that is "gift." This lack itself in Freud's interpretation expresses Rat Man's critical trouble. We conclude that Freud's interpretation always goes around death, and focuses on sexuality.

廃棄物発電プラントでは高効率, 低公害, メンテナンスフリーなどの性能向上を図る上で構成材料の高温腐食防止技術が鍵となっている. ごみの高カロリー化, 環境規制強化などの社会情勢変化に応じて腐食環境が過酷化し, 燃焼改善, 最適設計などによる腐食性の軽減がなされてきた. さらに, ボイラ蒸発管を主体に金属溶射, 溶接肉盛などの耐食コーティングを用いた寿命向上技術が開発, 適用され, また, 過熱器においても310系ステンレス鋼, 高Cr高Mo・Niベース合金管の利用と腐食メカニズムの解明により, 現在では673K/3.9MPaを超える蒸気条件が可能となっている. 本解説ではおよそ30年にわたる廃棄物発電プラントの腐食防止および耐食材料に関連した主な実用技術の開発と今後の課題について説明する.

2月8日,「ニュートラム 南港ポートタウン線」の下り列車は午前6時20分,大阪湾に浮かぶ中ふ頭にある中ふ頭駅を出発し,6時30分に南港口駅に到着した。乗客が乗り降りした後,列車の乗降ドアとホームのドアが閉じた。だが,列車が発車できないというトラブルが発生した。

A Japanese translation of Aristotle's De Anima that thematises what kokoro is has recently been discovered. It was done through the cooperation of Jesuit missionaries and Japanese in 1595 during the Kirishitan period (Kirishitan means early Christians in Japan in the 16th to 17th century). The manuscript fascinates us, not only because it tells us that the core of Western thought was already translated three hundred years before the Meiji era in which Japan truly encountered the West, but also because it includes an additional chapter on the permanence of anima rational humanica, which is not found in the Latin original.This suggests that it was absolutely necessary [for Christians] to preach the singularity and permanence of human kokoro (Quod anima intellectiva sit immortalis et aeterna), in order to disseminate Christianity in Japan where no fundamental distinction was made between human and animal kokoro (cf. F. Xavier, letter 29/1/1552). We can here confirm the basic difference between the Western anima and the Oriental kokoro.心とはいったい何か、を主題的に論じたアリストテレスの〈De Anima〉のキリシタン時代の日本語翻訳(1595)が最近発見された。江戸時代以前に西洋の核心となる思想が日本語翻訳されていたということ自体きわめて興味深いのだが、さらに面白いのは、日本語版には、オリジナルのラテン語版底本には存在しない「人間の理性的魂(anima rational)は永遠不滅である」という書き加えの章があることである。人間と動物との 〈心〉 の間に根本的差異をみとめない日本でキリスト教をひろめるには、 人間の 〈心〉 の特異性、 不滅性を教え込むことがどうしても必要だったのである。 ここに西洋と東洋のanimaと〈心〉の差異の基本的図式を確認することができる。

Rām carit mānas or The Lake of Rama's Deeds is a Rama Story sung by Tulsīdās of the 16th century in Hindi language. This Rama story is still sung and dramatized in North India on various occasions including the commemoration of Rama's birth day.Rama was born as an incarnation of God Vishnu[I-201]. But responding to the wish of his mother, he also showed himself as a normal human baby[I-202].In this paper, the portions including curses and prophecies/dreams are shown first, and then the roles they play in the work are examined.Curses are often removed by the mercy of Rama: Ahalya was cursed by her learned husband and changed into a stone, but when she touched the feet of merciful Rama, she regained the human form [I-210]. Prophecies will bring the story ahead as expected: Trijata serving the demon Ravana told Sita in prison about the dream she saw, and Rama came to rescue her soon[V-11-1, V-12-1]. We observe here the dreams come true as the prophecies.

有機リン系農薬の代謝物として, 尿中のジメチルリン酸とジメチルチオリン酸の濃度を, 農薬散布作業を行わない人について分析した。その結果, 尿中代謝物は農繁期, 農閑期を問わずほぼ一年中検出され, 散発的な濃度の上昇が観察されたことから, 農薬散布にかかわらない者でも年間を通して有機リン系化合物の暴露を受ける機会があり, それらが体内にとどまっている可能性も考えられた。
