Ninja is said to be the ancient warrior originated in Japan. Nowadays its transnational emerging has been seen globally, even in Sokoto, northern Nigeria where I have conducted field research for Nollywood kungfu film since 2001. In this article, I trace some transnational process of ninja representation outside Japan and consider ways to transform global image into a localized ninja/ninjoji of Sokoto.

幼小児の帯下は,非特異性外陰膣炎が原因であることが多いが膣内異物も忘れてはならない疾患である. 今回,異物による帯下を主訴としながらも,多数の医療機関にて診断がつかず1年半の病悩期間を有した5歳児を経験した. 異物は全麻下にペアン,布鉗子の湾曲を利用しつつ容易に摘出できた. 摘出された異物は,ビー玉3個,人形の靴1足,プラスチックのビーズ7個,菓子包装紙1枚であった. 摘出後は経過良好で帯下も消失した.

For many Japanese, it seems to be difficult to assume that growing success of Nollywood would be in relation with some “SFX” techniques for mysterious teleport and magical transforming, which resonate so much with the audiences in local contexts. This article examines recent 31 Yoruba Nollywood movies which were selected randomly from the online guide of the AM Yoruba. 22 contents out of the 31 include mysterious or magical scenes and 6 are peculiarly involved with “money rituals”. 9 are without any magical setting and more than half of them focus on domestic problems which are familiar with Japanese audiences. But many contents with magical scenes, too, raise issues for family relationships. The article explores common features and differences between the two kinds of contents and suggests that those movies which contain mysterious settings would dramatize ordinary issues with very localized idioms although they reflect harsh situation or crisis of everyday life.

Since large amounts of radioisotopes of Cs was released after the accidents at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear powerplants, a tremendous number of scientists and engineers have faced several issues in terms of decontamination ofradioactive Cs. In this paper, we present our recent two computational works based on density functional theory, one of which is to clarify mechanism of strong adsorption and retention of Cs in clay minerals to establish an effective Cs removal scheme from large amounts of radioactive wastes left by decontamination activities, and the other of which is to reveal why zeolites can selectively catch Cs even in the presence of other minerals and to make a guideline to create a more improved materials to remove Cs as well as other radioactive ions.

本稿は、内田九州男が1988・89年に相次いで発表した、羽柴(豊臣)秀吉による「大坂遷都構想」をめぐる一連の論考を再検討することを通じて、羽柴政権と当該期朝廷との関係性、ひいては秀吉の政権構想を明らかにしようとするものである。天正11年(1583)4月の賤ヶ岳合戦に勝利して織田信長の後継者たる地位を獲得した秀吉は、間もなく大坂に新たな居城構築を始める(大坂築城工事)が、内田は一連の論文を通じて「秀吉はこれと並行して大坂遷都を断行し、そのうえで自らが将軍となって大坂に幕府を開くという構想を持っていた。しかし、朝廷の招致に失敗したために将軍任官も大坂幕府開設も頓挫し、止む無く秀吉は関白となって同14年に関白公邸としての聚楽第を京都に構築することになる」としたのである。この大坂遷都論は早くから注目され、現在でもなお多くの研究者が支持しているが、そこには自ら検証したうえでのものはない。その一方、羽柴政権と朝廷との関係性を取り扱った論文・著書等において、内田の論文は等閑視されるという状況も存在する。これは「大坂遷都構想」および将軍任官・大坂幕府開設というテーマが、羽柴政権と当該期朝廷との関係性について考察する上での最重要課題の一つであるのみならず、中近世移行期における天皇制の在り方にもかかわる論点であることを考えると誠に奇妙な状況と言わざるを得ない。しかもそれが今日まで四半世紀という長年の間、実証的な検証が行なわれることなく、いわば両論並立のような状況のままで推移してきたことは、長年このテーマに関心を抱いてきた者として誠に残念なことでもあった。そこで、改めて大坂遷都論にかかわる根拠史料の再吟味を通じて検討したところ、大坂遷都、将軍任官、大坂開幕のことごとくがなり立たず、「大坂遷都論」は総体として成立しないことが明らかとなった。その結果を踏まえ、大坂遷都論の評価の上に立って秀吉の関白政権樹立に至る構想を明らかにしてきた横田冬彦の仕事を俎上に乗せて検討したところ、秀吉が大坂遷都を断念した理由が必ずしも明確でないことに加え、断念の最大の理由とする小牧長久手合戦の敗戦についても、そうした評価は早計で、むしろ長引く小牧長久手の講和を探るなかで、秀吉の視野に新たな政権構想として公武の頂点に立つ関白職を獲得するという方針が入ってきたとし、そういう積極的な評価こそ妥当とした。そして、こうした一連の経過のなかに大坂遷都構想とその断念という事象を入れる歴史的必然性は無いものと結論付けた。

Balloon kyphoplasty(BKP)後に隣接椎体骨折が生じることはよく知られているが,その危険因子や予測については報告が限られている.また,その臨床的意義も報告により異なる.我々は隣接椎体骨折が及ぼす影響およびその発生を予測する因子を受傷後2ヶ月以内にBKPを実施した症例で検討した.本著ではその研究を中心に,隣接椎体骨折が臨床的に及ぼす影響,またその予測に関して文献をレビューした.

昨年度に基礎を確立した複素および1進の反復積分の関数等式の導出法(Wojtkowiak氏との共同研究)を延長して,具体的な実例計算をさらに検証した.とりわけ古典的な高次対数関数について知られている分布関係式(distribution relation)の1進版を導出することに成功した.分布関係式は,様々な特殊値を代入することで,高次対数関数の特殊値の間に成立する様々な関係式を組織的に生み出す重要なものであり,1進の場合にも並行してガロア群上の関数族(1-コチェイン)を統御する要となることが期待されるが,前年度までに得られた関数等式との整合性についても検証を行った.8月にケンブリッジのニュートン数理科学研究所で行われた研究集会"Anabelian Geometry"において口頭発表を行った.このときの講演に参加していたH.Gangl氏,P.Deligne氏から今後の研究指針を考える上で有用になると思われるコメントを頂戴することが出来た.また分布関係式の低次項の解消問題に関連して,有理的な道に沿った解析接続の概念にっいて考察を進める必要が生じた.こうしたテーマに関連して研究分担者の鳥居氏には,有理ホモトピー論に関する情報収集を担当していただき,また研究分担者の鈴木氏には,量子代数やKZ方程式との関連で組みひも群の数理についての情報収集を担当していただいた.以上の研究成果の一部は,共同研究者のWojtkowiak氏と協力して,"On distribution formula of complex and 1-adic polylogarithms"という仮題の草稿におおよその骨子をまとめたが,まだ完成に至っていない.周辺にやり残した問題(楕円ポリログ版など)もあり,これらについて一定の目処をつけてから公表までの工程を相談する予定になっている.
