本研究では、上位捕食者(ヤゴ)、下位捕食者(エゾサンショウウオ)の幼生、餌となる生物(エゾアカガエル)のオタマジャクシの3種からなる単純な食物網における、オタマジャクシのエゾサンショウウオ幼生に対する誘導防御形態、エゾサンショウウオ幼生のオタマジャクシを捕食?攻撃するための誘導攻撃形態の発現を調べた。両者の対抗的形態発現の程度はヤゴの存在によって緩和された。互いの対抗的な可塑性は、第三者の介入によって調整される必要があり、そのような調整がなされていることが明らかとなった。

昆虫に対して高い幼若ホルモン様活性を示すピリジルエーテル系化合物, S-31183の薬剤感受性系およびピレスロイド抵抗性系イエバエ幼虫に対する活性を, 種々の方法により検討した。局所施用法, 短時間の浸漬試験, および人工培地への混入試験により, S-31183はイエバエ幼虫に対して高い羽化阻害効果を示し, その活性はメトプレンやジフルベンズロンの活性に勝った。ピレスロイド抵抗性系のイエバエを用いた準実地的な試験においても本剤は高い効力を示し, イエバエ幼虫防除への実用化が期待された。

オオカマキリとチョウセンカマキリの卵嚢からのカマキリタマゴカツオブシムシ越冬世代成虫の脱出パターンおよび成虫の寿命と産卵数を準自然条件下において調べた。越冬世代成虫の脱出は,5月と6月に見られたが,両種の卵嚢において,雌より雄の方が早く脱出し,雌雄とも,脱出はオオカマキリ卵嚢からの方が早かった。脱出後,雌雄のカツオブシムシとも約2か月間生存し,産卵は,5月下旬から8月中旬まで見られ,1雌当りの産卵数は約10個であった。しかし,両種のカマキリが産卵を始める9月まで生存する個体はなかった。7月下旬と9月中旬に採集したハラビロカマキリおよびチョウセンカマキリのふ化後の卵嚢から,それぞれ,このカツオブシムシの幼虫と脱皮殻を付着した羽化直後の成虫が得られた。越冬世代成虫の脱出は6月中に終了するので,これらの個体はいずれも第1世代のものであると考えられた。

本研究では動画に付随するアノテーション情報とユーザーが指定した情報に基き、画像に描写されているターゲット要素の特徴を機械学習することによって、データベース内の動画選択を行い音楽にマッチしたダンス動画を自動生成するシステムを構築した。画像内の輪郭特徴を表す特徴量、アノテーション情報を表す動画コンテンツに割り振られたタグ情報を用いて画像内容推定を行っており、先行研究より画像内の構図を考慮したダンス動画生成ができ、ユーザーがシステムを利用する際の自由度を上げる事が可能となった。This paper presents a system that automatically generates a dance video clip appropriate to music by segmenting and concatenating existing dance video clips. This system is based on machine learning for annotation and features of image. We create system can consider what object draw in the image, so user can control system more flexible than prior study. Because we use features express shape of object in image, and annotation attended videos in internet to guess what draw in the image.

The purpose of this study was to clarify the way in which the stadium securitization was introduced to finance professional football clubs in England during the period of 1989 to 2002, and also to analyse the general structure and current practices of such deals. First phase of this development was the modernization of stadiums, prompted by the Taylor Report. The second phase was characterised by the transformation of clubs into joint-stock companies for more stable financing, which also coincided with the stadium refurbishment and the consequent spread of stadium hospitality business. The third phase was where the clubs discovered securitization of stadiums as a method of attaining long-term financing. It was discovered that the place of stadium in the club's financial operation was thereby changed. It was also found that securitization is a large and long-term source of finance, which also happens to be more flexible than loans from banks, and therefore easier to use. However, it also became clear that this method of financing requires each club to maximize their stadium revenues. These English cases also suggest that depending on where the money is reinvested, such financial practices can potentially put club finances in danger.

知識集約型組織では、経営戦略上の各種の意思決定に有用な知識や洞察を生み出すために、企業内外の事実に基づく情報を組織的にかつ系統的に蓄積・分析し、それを活用することが求められている。我々は一つの例として研究所がどんな研究をしているのかを見える化し、営業・SEが研究所の技術を探せる/発見があるようにするために、社内外の文書、展示会、人物、組織、技術、研究、ソリューション等に関するデータを Linked Data 化するとともに、この Linked Data を活用するツールを作成した。ツール作成にあたっては、探索の効率化のためのネットワーク表示機能、知識を増殖したり維持管理するための集合知活用などを取り入れた。To produce useful knowledge and insight for making various decisions on corporate strategies, it's important for knowledge-intensive organizations to exploit intelligence generated by systematically accumulating and analyzing information based on facts inside and outside of enterprises. We have produced Linked Data from data sources including documents, exhibitions, persons, organizations, technologies, researches, solutions, etc., inside and outside our company, and developed a browser for navigating Linked Data. When we were developing the browser, important considerations were to display network diagrams for exploring linked data efficiently and to utilize collective intelligence for accumulating and managing knowledge.

We propose a new smart or intelligent fluid which reacts upon a magnetic field. It is a magnetic compound fluid (MCF). We measured the relation of shear stress to shear rate with a rotating rheometer as its hydrodynamic characteristics and the complex magnetic permeability at heigh frequency range as its magnetic characteristics. The hydrodynamic characteristics can be varied qualitatively and quantitatively by the direction of the applying magnetic field, the type of a rotating body in the rheometer and the compound rate of the iron and the magnetite particles. The magnetic characteristics can be varied by the the compound rate of the iron and the magnetite particles. Also, the MCF is expectable for engineering applications with using a magnetic field.

これまでの認知症ケアにはこれといった理念や具体的方法が示されておらず,場当たり的な対処または経験によって伝承されてきた経過がある。その結果,さまざまな形で表れる症状の改善がみられず,一層悪化するという悪循環に陥ることがわかっている。BPSDはケアを写す鏡と言われる。認知症ケアは言語で表出することが困難となった認知症の人の心理的理解を図らなければならない。そのためにもケアする側が他者(認知症の人)の立場を理解し,寄り添わなければならない。その理念または一方法として,人としての尊厳を守るうえからもパーソン・センタード・ケアが有効である。これまでの既存のサービスを提供するといった一方的なケアのあり方だけでなく,共にパーソンフッドを高めあうことが今後のケアの充実につながる。
