Methotrexate (MTX) is known as a first-line synthetic disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Although the risk of LPD development increases by RA inflammation itself, observation of spontaneous regression of LPD after MTX discontinuation lead to the theory of lymphomagenic role of MTX. In this review, we focused on the several immune response involved in LPD that developed under MTX administration in RA patients.

The generality of strength suggests that a “strong” individual will typically exhibit higher values of strength across a wide range of strength tasks for a given muscle relative to their weaker counterpart. This concept is often extended to adaptation, suggesting that increasing strength on a given movement or strength task with a given muscle should reflect an increase in other movements or tasks using that same muscle. The concept of a generality of strength adaptation appears less supported in the literature. Objective: To elaborate on recommendations for strength assessment, providing a focus on the “generality of strength” and the “generality of strength adaptation.”Design & Methods: We reviewed the literature on a generality of strength. In addition, we examined the resistance training lit erature to provide evidence and discussion on a generality of strength adaptation. Results/Conclusions: The generality of strength adaptation, even across strength skills using the same muscle on related movements seems quite low. Although some studies show a weak generality of strength adaptation and others show no generality of strength adaptation, it appears that increases in strength diminish as the strength assessment becomes farther removed from the actual training stimulus.

作家森茉莉について,まずその気質を,てんかん気質,中心気質,内向的感覚タイプという観点から考察した。次に,森茉莉と父親鴎外との関係について述べ,父親元型と密着しすぎている「父の娘」という観点から見たとき,「父親の輝きを背後にもった少女」ということができ,生涯その父子のナルシシズムに守られていたということが言えた。また彼女は,「少年愛もの」から本格的な小説を書き始めているが,この「少年愛もの」は現代の「腐女子文化」に通じるものがあることを論じた。そして,長編小説『甘い蜜の部屋』を創造し書ききることで,父の庇護を必要としない「絶対少女」となり,それは父からの自立を意味していたということを明らかにした。

Artificial photosynthesis mimics natural photosynthesis and involves oxidation and reduction half-reactions, both of which are small-molecule transformations. Given that the realization of artificial photosynthesis may alleviate the energy and environmental problems faced by humankind, the development of catalysts for such transformations is a task of great practical significance. Our analysis of the natural photosynthetic system suggests that efficient small-molecule conversion requires the related catalysts to have (1) an active center with good reactivity, (2) charge-transporting sites close to the active center, and (3) substrate-transporting channels. Herein, we describe our recent progress in the development of small-molecule conversion catalysts based on this consideration and our original concept of function integration.

本研究の目的は、大学学生寮の中で留学生と日本人学生が構築する対人関係を、留学生の語りを通して明らかにすることである。データ収集方法として、有志留学生8名それぞれに滞在期間3ヶ月目と8ヶ月目の時点で半構造化面接を行なった。面接では、寮での日本人学生との対人関係を中心に質問をした。逐語録の分析には、木下(2007)を参考に、グラウンディッド・セオリー・アプローチで用いられる方法を利用した。その結果、滞在期間3ヶ月目では、留学生は日本人学生との対人関係構築への期待を抱いていたのにも関わらず、8ヶ月目になると、留学生は日本人学生コミュニティへの不参加を表明していることが分かった。本稿では、その理由として、日本人学生の上下関係の文化的実践に注目し、寮における異文化間対人関係の様相を考察する。

微小重力下にある国際宇宙ステーション (International Space Station : ISS) では生体の筋骨格系が減弱する. このため種々の対策が実施されているが, 大掛かりな設備となっている. そこで簡便で効果的な訓練法が模索され, 我々のグループではヒトへの電気刺激によるハイブリッドトレーニング (hybrid training : HT) 法を提案し, 地上や微小重力模擬下で効果を検証してきた. 本論文ではHTのISS 内実施に伴い想定される以下の事項を取り上げた. まずシステムの電気刺激条件と含水性刺激電極, 刺激装置と人体通電時の電磁適合性 (electro-magnetic compatibility : EMC) について検討した. 次にHTと人体浮遊時の身体揺動, 日本実験モジュール (Japanese Experiment Module : JEM) に上体を固定した時のISSへの振動的加速度の影響について検討した.

This paper is concerned with the development of an efficient algorithm for the numerical solution of the fractional differential equation (FDE). The numerical integration of the FDE requires significant computational cost, because the fractional convolution integral included in the fractional derivative, requires O(N2) operations for N points calculation. The kernel of the fractional integral has singularity and consequently excessive small time-step near the singularity is needed to secure the high precision in the numerical calculation. This difficulty is solved by means of a new computational procedure for fractional derivative by introducing the variable trasformation from the physical time to the power time which is newly defined in this paper. The proposed algorithm is used to solved the nonlinear FDE. Computational results are compared with those by the former method (Nasuno and Shimizu, JSME (C), 2006). The proposed method shows remarkably higher performance than the former one.

The experimantal study has been conducted for several years to investigate the nonlinear psudo-statical and dynamical behaviors of a viscoelastic body described by the fractional derivative law. Pre-stress due to pre-displacement induces higer damping capacity during sinusoidal excitation. In order to understand this behavior, nonlinear statical and dynamical models are considered. The authors establish and propose the appropriate models to describe the behavior of the fractional derivative viscoelastic body. The nonlinearity having second order term with respect to pre-displacement for pseudo-statical compressive displacement and the nonlinearity having exponential term with respect to pre-displacement for sinusoidal excitation are found to be appropriate to describe the viscoelastic damping coefficients. Some discussions on the values of the viscoelastic damping coefficients and how to model a unified force-displacement relation covering from lower to higher wide frequency range are given.

本研究における目的は,老年期における回想という行為と適応との関連について検討することである。また回想において適応と関連を示す要因は,回想行為そのものよりも回想の質であるという仮説のもとに,「回想の情緒的性質」および「過去のネガティブな出来事を再評価する傾向」を測定する尺度を作成し,これらの要囚と人生満足度や抑うつ度などとの関連について,老人大学受講者208名および大学生197名を対象に質問紙調査による検証を試みた。その結果,世代や性別によりその関連の仕方は異なるものの,回想の情緒的性質が適応度と関連することが認められ,ネガティブな出来事の再評価傾向は主に青年期で,回想量は老年期の男性で特徴的に適応度を説明した。そのため老年期の男性で頻繁に過去を振り返ることは適応度の低さと関連すると考えられた。さらに老年期の男性のみに,ポジティブな回想の想起しやすさと回想量との交互作用が認められ,ポジティブな回想と適応度の関連する程度は回想量によって異なると考えられた。

この発表では、AGIの定義を振り返るとともに、ヒトのような機能を持つAGIに関し、2022年時点において実現できていない機能を整理する。事例ベースAIの原理的問題として生成的規則の扱いに触れ、未実現課題として流動性知能、実世界対応、社会知能、言語獲得、数学に言及する。
