先の論文では、アイヌのアイデンティティの再表明において、虐げられたマイノリティ、とりわけアメランディアンとアフリカ系アメリカ人との対比がいかに重要であったかを考察した。たしかに、初期の政治的活動家たちの位置取りは、部落民や極左の活動家たちの行動に着想を得てなされたものではあるが、1970年代初頭に彼らのあとを継いだ若きアイヌの指導者たちは、長らく奪われていた基本的権利を回復するために闘う他の民族たちと自己同一視を図ったのであった。当時、混血がかなり進んでいたため、アイヌの若い世代は、社会的、民族的に自分たちが特殊であることを自覚していた。その特殊性は、日本的なものの荒波に揉まれながら決して失われることのない、独自の文化的ハイブリッドに裏打ちされたものであった。日本の介入がアイヌの社会にさまざまな危機をもたらしたことは事実である。とりわけ、日本の価値体系がより脆弱なアイヌの価値体系に与えた衝撃はアイヌの文化的基盤の一部を木っ端微塵にし、アイヌは日本人との共存を強いられることになったのであるが、それはアイヌにとって極めて困難なことであった。アイヌに残された唯一の道は、伝統的構造のいくつかを犠牲としながら順応することであった。日本の文化のうちには、アイヌがすでに慣れ親しみ、威信を高める目的で自文化のうちにとりこんでいた要素もあり、そうした要素を補償的に取り入れなおすことで、アイヌは完全な同化を免れたのである。異種交配の初期形態が胚胎したのはこうした葛藤を交えた状況下においてであった。しかし、植民地主義的過程がどんなに激しく進行しようとも、深部に秘められたアイヌの伝統的な宗教的・社会文化的構造が破壊されつくすことはなかった。また、伝統とのつながりを保とうとするアイヌの情熱や、歴史の転換点において新しい伝統を生み出そうとした若い世代の欲望などを考慮するのであれば、アイヌにおける異文化受容は部分的であったとみなしうるだろう。実地での体験が教えるところによれば、アイヌはつねに、日本の社会文化のなかから、そして他の民族から提供される豊富な文化的オプションのなかから、自分たちに役立つものを選別しつづけているのである。こうしてアイヌは、儀礼に関する記憶に基づいて歴史の再領有を行うという壮大なプロセスを始動させながら、アイデンティティの再構築に挑むことになったのである。その具体的な事例が、文化的な年中行事である二つの記念祭、すなわち鮭の神を祭るアシリチェップノミと歴史的英雄を祭るシャクシャイン祭りである。本論はその詳細について論じたものである。この二つの祭りは、今日のアイヌ文化における主要なイベントとして、アイデンティティの再構築や社会政治的復権を目指した弛まぬ努力を支える積極的な文化保存の思考と深く結びついているのである。

近年、ソーシャルリーディングが注目され多くのサービスが利用されている。しかしながら、ディジタルマンガにおいて、読者によって付加された感想やコメントなどのアノテーション情報は閲覧システムと密接に結びついたデータであることが多く、アノテーション情報のみを切り離して利用することが困難である。 そこで本研究では、我々の研究室で開発を行ってきたマンガメタデータとコマやセリフといったマンガの各要素を指し示すためのマンガPath式を用いて、マンガ閲覧システムからアノテーション情報を切り離して利用できるアノテーション共有基盤システムを作製した。また、利用例として、アノテーションの付加量から人気個所を抽出したダイジェストを生成するiPad向けアプリケーションの製作を行った。

It has been believed that in sake ethyl caproate is one of the main component of ginjo-flavour. There have been no reports about the synthesis and hydrolysis of ethyl caproate. We have studied the activity of sake yeast in the synthesis and hydrolysis of ethyl caproate. The results obtained are as follows : 1) The esterase of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on ethyl caproate synthesis was separated into three fractions (S-I, II, III) by Sepharose 6B gel filtration. 2) The esterase fraction of ethyl caproate synthesis (S-II, III) did not hydrolyze p-nitrophenyl acetatte, so it was impossible to examine the esterase activity by this method. The esterase activity of ethyl caproate synthesis and hydrolysis must be measured by gas chromatography.3) The optimum pH of the esterase of ethyl caproate synthesis was 5.0,and that of ethyl caproate hydrolysis was 10.0. 4) The optimum pH of alcohol acyltransferase was 8.0. 5) There were differences in the localization of esterase and alcohol acyltransferase in the cells. Therefore, there are two pathways to the formation of ethyl caproate through esterase and through alcohol acyltransferase.6) The esterase fraction S-II was stabilized by ammonium sulfate.

Arohynapenes are new anticoccidial agents, isolated from the fermentation broth of Penicillium sp. FO-2295 strain and their structures have been proposed as shown in Fig. 1. Although the absolute stereochemistry of arohynapenes are unclear, in comparison with the spectral data of an analogous natural product, tanzawaic acid A, the relative stereochemistry of arohynapene B is deduced to be cis. In this study, we planed the total synthesis of racemic arohynapene B starting from cis-3,5-dimethylcyclohexanone in order to confirm its relative stereochemistry. Treatment of cis-3,5-dimethylcyclohexanone (2), prepared from 3,5-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one (1) via stereoselective hydrogenation (H_2, Pd/C), with ethynylmagnesium bromide, followed by acetylation gave propargyl acetate derivative 3. Acetate 3 rearranges in benzene containing a catalytic amount of silver trifluoroacetate under reflux to afford 1,3-dienyl acetate 4, which underwent Diels-Alder reaction with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate. After heating in toluene under reflux for four days, the reaction mixture was treated with DBN to provide tetrahydronaphtalene-dicarboxylate derivative 5. With the tetrahydronaphthalene skeleton in hands, we next focused the elongation of the dienylcarboxylic acid side chain. After reduction of diester 5 with LAH, selective protection of the 2-hydroxymethyl group in diol 6 was investigated. Moderate selectivity was observed when TBSCl-imidazole/DMF was used for the protection condition. Oxidation of the remaining hydroxy group to aldehyde, followed by Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction gave unsaturated ester 9, which was subjected to reduction, oxidation and HWE reaction afforded protected arohynapene B. Finally, hydrolysis of the ester moiety, followed by cleavage of the silyl ether under mild acidic condition furnished (±)-arohynapene B.

Historians studying settler European society in Algeria have their roots in classical assimilation theory, and usually argue that the "fusion" among the European races took place at the turn of the nineteenth century. Other scholars confine their study to the ideological aspect and claim that the so-called rise of the "Algerien europeen" is a myth. This article provides a more subtle portrait of European society in Oran based on the quantitative approach. The analysis of the electoral college and of the dossiers of concessionaires points out that a second generation emerged during the late nineteenth century, especially in this coastal city. This study also reveals the mobility patterns of European immigrants and the complex functions that the city performed in this migration. Finally, the structure of urban society is analysed from a perspective of the conflict between European and Jewish communities. Contemporary discourse on the Europeans of Algeria made reference to these social transformations. However, this is not to say that the "Europeans" were simply integrated into a "European-Algerian" community;rather, the settlement developed local identities and socioeconomic differences between generations.

東日本大震災では東北地方太平洋沖地震とそれに伴って発生した津波,及びその後の余震により甚大な被害を被ったが,初期対応や災害対策についていろいろな問題が指摘されている.災害対策基本法や特定非常災害特別措置法に則り対策を実施していく必要があるが,復興計画を立案し,組織を立ち上げし,実行し,進捗を監視していく一連の工程において現状は手探り状態であり,必ずしも最善の方法が採用されているとは言えない.復興に関してはより早期にまた確実に進めることができる方法を選択すべきであるが,PM手法のフレームワークを適用することで解決できるものが多いと思われる.本論文では阪神・淡路大震災等過去の教訓に照らし合わせ,災害復興におけるPM手法適用の有効性を検証した.

Nemegtia barsboldi gen. et sp. nov. here described is a new oviraptorid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous (mid-Maastrichtian) Nemegt Formation of southwestern Mongolia. It differs from other oviraptorids in the skull having a well-developed crest, the anterior margin of which is nearly vertical, and the dorsal margin of the skull and the anterior margin of the crest form nearly 90°; the nasal process of the premaxilla being less exposed on the dorsal surface of the skull than those in other known oviraptorids; the length of the frontal being approximately one fourth that of the parietal along the midline of the skull. Phylogenetic analysis shows that Nemegtia barsboldi is more closely related to Citipati osmolskae than to any other oviraptorosaurs.
