レシピ動画を適切に組み合わせて再生するために,本稿では,既存のレシピを組み合わせ可能な工程に分割し,各工程の成果物の型をメタデータとして分割したレシピに付与する.そして分割したレシピの組み合わせ方を問題解決プロセスとしてモデル化することで,個人化したレシピに応じた動画を合成する.

In writing of Kafu Nagai,there is the literary sketchi of "Grazpevine Trellis",but this was written by gining ideas after finishing reading Maupassant's "Yvette".It can be also considered that he put yhe title as "Grapevine Trellis",being influenced by the scene of the grapevine trellis whichappears in the 27th of "Jinpingmei", a novel in Chinese Ming dynasty. Previous studies have found that he had been reading the Chinese novel. A common point can be observed in "Yvette"and "Jinpingmei", which is not romance based on formal marriage. Moreover, the image of "grapes" has the sexual image associated whith "many grape seeds produce many children" in China.

Neuropathic pain, a highly debilitating chronic pain following nerve damage, is a reflection of the aberrant functioning of a pathologically altered nervous system. Previous studies have implicated activated microglia in the spinal dorsal horn (SDH) as key cellular intermediaries in neuropathic pain. Microgliosis is among the dramatic cellular alterations that occur in the SDH in models of neuropathic pain established by peripheral nerve injury (PNI), but detailed characterization of SDH microgliosis has yet to be realized. In the present study, we performed a short-pulse labeling of proliferating cells with ethynyldeoxyuridine (EdU), a marker of the cell cycle S-phase, and found that EdU+ microglia in the SDH were rarely observed 32 h after PNI, but rapidly increased to the peak level at 40 h post-PNI. Numerous EdU+ microglia persisted for the next 20 h (60 h post-PNI) and decreased to the baseline on day 7. These results demonstrate a narrow time window for rapidly inducing a proliferation burst of SDH microglia after PNI, and these temporally restricted kinetics of microglial proliferation may help identify the molecule that causes microglial activation in the SDH, which is crucial for understanding and managing neuropathic pain.

コンピュータグラフィックスの研究が始まり 50 年が経過した.著者はこの分野の萌芽期の 1970 年から研究を開始し,隠面消去や陰影処理などの基礎的な研究からはじめ,照明効果から自然物の表現,NPR など広範囲の研究に携わった.本年度の SIGGRAPH ASIA での Pioneers Panel (CV,VR,CG各分野のパイオニア) のパネリストの 1 人が,西田の CG 画像は 「照明効果のみでもリアリティを表現してるので感激した」 と数年前言ってくださったのがヒントなり,物体の複雑さのみでなく半影や相互反射など照明モデルのリアリティへの挑戦を講術する.特に,筆者がパイオニアである光源の種類による半影,相互反射計算,粒子による散乱による光跡 (ボリュームライト),天空光のような環境光源など CG の技術要素を紹介する.

This paper proposes a novel approach for video-based person re-identification that exploits deep convolutional neural networks to learn the similarity of persons observed from video camera. By Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), each video sequence of a person is mapped to a Euclidean space where distances between feature embeddings directly correspond to measures of person similarity. By improved parameter learning method called Entire Triplet Loss, all possible triplets in the mini-batch are taken into account to update network parameters at once. This simple change of parameter updating method significantly improves network training, enabling the embeddings to be further discriminative. Experimental results show that proposed model achieves new state of the art identification rate on iLIDS-VID dataset and PRID-2011 dataset with 78.3%, 83.9% at rank 1, respectively.

水戸徳川家江戸上屋敷庭園であった後楽園 (東京都文京区) は、江戸の庭園文化を代表する大名庭園でありその文献史料も他庭と比較してかなり豊富である。<BR>しかしながら、各史料を検討しても、なお様々な未解決の問題が残されていることは否定出来ない。古庭園で、作庭当初のままの景が今日まで保存されているものは極く少ないということは常識であって、大部分が多かれ少なかれ何等かの改修を受けている。<BR>その庭園が各時代をどのように変遷してきたかという問題は、古庭園研究上の重要な課題である。<BR>ここでは後楽園の多くの疑問点の内、園内西部の重要な景観である「小盧山」の景中にある、「大堰川」の流れを中心とした部分の「渡月橋」と「西湖堤」について考察し、その変遷を文献と実地の上から明らかにしていきたいと思う。
