On this part of the paper, the Jurakutei-Castle has been studied from the viewpoint of the history of Japanese architecture by the use of the Folding-Screen Picture of the Jurakutei-Castle and the Rakuchu-Ezu (A.D. 1637, the oldest measured map of Kyoto) that has been discovered recently. And the contents are the following : Chap. 1 A short history of the Jurakutei-Castle from the construction to the ruin; Chap. 2 The planning on the Jurakutei-Castle; Chap. 3 The buildings in the Jurakutei-Castle; that is, Tenshu-kaku (donjon), Hiroma (main hall), Ohte-mon (main gate), and Buke-yashiki (Samurai's residence). As the result of this study, on the one hand the Shoin-style had been completed in this Jurakutei-Castle, and on the other hand the planning of this Jurakutei-Castle built on flat land seems to have been the model of another castle-town. The Jurakutei-Castle was exactly the symbol of the age.

1 0 0 0 OA 第58次日本南極地域観測隊員の南極のリスクに対する態度,知識,対応スキルの実態

第58次日本南極地域観測隊員に,冬期総合訓練前後と出発直前の計3回,南極リスクに関する質問紙調査を実施した.その結果,①リスクに対する態度では「南極リスクの脅威」,「南極リスクへの効力感」の2因子が得られ,②両因子の得点とも経験者が高かった.③リスク対応の自己評価では,「作業工具による打撲等」「一酸化酸素中毒」が全時点で経験差がなかったが,他の南極特有のリスクの多くで経験差が見られたほか,④未経験者の「クレバス転落」「タイドクラック転落」への対応の自己評価で調査時期による向上が見られた.⑤発生可能性が場所に依存するクレバス,タイドクラック,ウィンドスクープ転落について,未経験者は経験者より発生を過剰に評価していた.結果より,訓練や全員打ち合わせ等による情報提供は,未経験者のリスク対応の自己評価を高めるが,場所に依存するリスクを十分に理解できていない点に課題があることが指摘された.A questionnaire was completed by members of the 58th Japan Antarctic Research Expedition before and after winter training, and shortly before departure. The questionnaire yielded the following results: 1) the factors "threat of risks in Antarctica" and "self-confidence regarding risks in Antarctica" were yielded from attitude items. 2) Members with JARE experience yielded higher scores for both factors. 3) There was no difference in the self-evaluation of measures to prevent "injury by work tool" and "carbon monoxide poisoning" between experience groups for all survey periods, but significant differences were observed among other risks in Antarctica. 4) Self-evaluation of members without JARE experience regarding "fall into tidal crack" or "fall into crevasse" improved over time. 5) Members without JARE experience evaluated the risk of "fall into crevasse", "fall into tidal crack", and "fall into wind scoop" to be higher than did members with JARE experience. It is concluded that information given at the training sessions improved the self-evaluation of members without JARE experience, although they may not comprehend that the occurrence of risks is dependent on site characteristics.

幼児や小学校低学年の児童などが学校で事故を発生させると、民法714条2項により代理監督者である学校設置者などが責任を課せられる。この代理監督義務の範囲は監督の委託のそれであり、教育活動及びそれと密接不離な生活関係である。これは広範なものであり、教師は民法709条の不法行為責任と併せ、過度の負担を強いられることになる。そこで、委託を受ける代理監督者を教師個人ではなく学校設置者などに限定すべきである。さらに、法定監督義務者の行為と加害行為に相当因果関係がある場合には、代理監督者は責任を免れるべきである。

We present a case of an intact 14-year-old male dog with a prostate B-cell lymphoma recognized in the contents of an irreducible perineal hernia. The enlarged prostate was replaced after reducing its size by partial excision, and the perineal hernia was repaired using the tunica vaginalis communis. However, the pelvic cavity was largely occupied by the replaced prostate, and urinary retention developed. The prostate was resected on the next day via abdominal median incision, and a bladder-urethra anastomosis was performed. Lymphoma has rarely been demonstrated to develop in the prostate, with the lesion comprising the hernia contents. The present study suggests the necessity of early treatment for perineal hernias and the possibility that lymphoma may be present in the hernia contents.
