本稿では,江戸っ子1号プロジェクトを通じて,金融機関と企業,大学との連携についてその経緯と課題等について述べる.本プロジェクトは,金融機関の顧客中小企業および大学,国の研究機関が連携して推進するプロジェクトである.これは,関西で推進された「まいど1号プロジェクト」に刺激されたもので,西が宇宙なら東は深海を目指し,深海探査機の開発と商用化を目的としている.この探査機の特長は,動力を必要としない簡便かつ安価なもので,海底資源探査に貢献するとともに,新たな市場を創造する可能性がある.金融機関は危機感を持ち,地域の活性化を図るため大学や究機関と協力してソリューションを企業に提供する新たな取組みを開始した.本プロジェクトはその一例となる. <br>

This paper is a case study of organizational transformation in a prefectural party unit of Japans Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). Ibaraki prefecture was one of the bulwarks of LDP dominance and the prefectural organization ("kenren") had been proud of own strength. But, at the defeat in the 2009 gubernatorial election, many conservative local politician and interest organizations were against the "kenren" and supported the incumbent governor, Masaru Hashimoto, and let him win. The defeat broke the previous regime at the "kenren", and the Ibaraki-kenren was forced to rebuild its organization and to try transforming itself from being a prefectural member-centered organization to becoming a more inclusive organization. <br>  The purpose of this article analyzes the process of the gubernatorial defeat and the organizational reformation in the kenren following that defeat, to claim the necessity of further accumulation of analysis about local organizations of political parties, not only from perspective of national level confrontation among parties, but also local conflict among local politicians and interest organizationswith a peculiar dynamism.

Freezing of gait is observed in quiet a few neurological diseases but has been raised a main and disabling neurological sign in Parkinson's disease (PD). In this mini-review, studies concerning freezing of gait in PD are reviewed and a hypothesis that the freezing of gait phenomenon in PD originates from interlimb incoordination are introduced. Pathogenesis of the freezing of gait phenomenon remains unknown, but some hypotheses have been raised : (1) Rhythmical contraction of anterior tibial muscles are prohibited, (2) Postural changes to initiate gait are disturbed, (3) Reciprocal inhibition in the spinal cord is disturbed due to abnormal descending commands from the central nervous system. Based on experiments conducted using a special type of ergometer (strength ergo 240W), Abe et al observed interlimb incoordination in PD patients with freezing of gait during pedaling. In addition, Plotnik et al. observed asymmetrical lower limb movements during walking and considered that PD patients with freezing of gait might have interlimb incoordination. These studies may support a hypothesis that freezing of gait in PD originates from interlimb incoordination.

In this paper, we evaluate the potential accuracy for the volcanic ash coverage using interferometric coherence of the Phased Array type L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar-2 (PALSAR-2) aboard the Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2 (ALOS-2, “DAICHI-2”). In order to detect the disaster affected area from interferometric coherence, we require pre-disaster and co-disaster pairs. That is, we require at least two interferometric archives taken before the disaster in addition to one archive after the disaster. The ideal multi-temporal analysis is performed with of course, highest resolution pairs. However, we do not always have enough number of the archive especially in the early stage of the satellite mission. Here, we use not only Stripmap but also ScanSAR mode archive in order to achieve enough number of pairs. The combination of the Stripmap and ScanSAR archives will help to increase the interferometric pair while it suffers the spatial resolution and coherency. Especially for ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 data, it has not been evaluated the potential accuracy of such Stripmap-ScanSAR interferometry method. In this paper, we use the volcanic eruption event in May 2015 at Kuchinoerabu-jima Island, Kagoshima prefecture, Japan for the case study. We evaluated the proposed method with the truth data which was achieved by manual classification using aerial photography. Experimental results showed that the proposed method marked approximately 91% overall accuracy with 0.64 Kappa coefficients to detect the dense volcanic ash coverage.

レースカーやスポーツカーで最も実績があるのは、プリプレグを積層し、オートクレーブで硬化させる熱硬化性CFRP(p.47の別掲記事参照)。例えば、日産自動車「リーフ」のモータ、減速機をミッドシップに搭載したデモンストレーション用のEV(電気自動車)レースカー「リーフNISMO RC」も、キャビンからカウルまでほとんどをプリプレグで造っている(図1)。

広島ガス(株)廿日市工場において建設を行っているピットイン式(地中式)のNo.2LNGタンク(85,000kl)では,土留め支保として高強度の連続地中壁(以降,連壁と称す)を採用した。この連壁の設計基準強度は60N/mm^2,配合強度80N/mm^2であり,骨材事情が特に厳しい西日本の連壁としては,最も高強度の領域である。この報文では,この連壁に用いた高強度コンクリートの施工時の品質管理結果および施工結果について報告する。

出版社版[症例1]夏山登山で20〜60歳代の男女6人が風雨で動けなくなり遭難した。60歳代の女性1人は来院時心肺停止状態で死亡した。別の60歳台女性1人と30歳台男性が軽度低体温症で入院となった。[症例2]氷点下の屋外でランニング中の高校生3人が意識障害を来し搬送された。救急隊到着時鼓膜温35.6℃であったが、寒冷環境下の運動により体温が喪失し低体温症に至ったと考えられた。【結語】偶発性低体温症が発生する要因として冷温環境に加えて強風・熱産生のための体内エネルギーの枯渇・運動による発汗・脱水等が挙げられる。症状の進行は急速で数時間で死に至る。意識・震え・生命兆候の有無により重症度を判断できる。

「数学・理科甲子園」は,兵庫県教育委員会主催で行われ,県内の高校生3人1チーム構成で数学・理科の問題に取り組んで競技する大会である。大会の目的は,数学,理科の問題を科学的に解決する競技を通じて,互いに協力し合いながら,高校生の科学技術等に対する興味・関心及び意欲・能力を高めることである。今回は,特に大会役員として取り組んだ2006年度本選(Bブロック)の物理実験(自作紙製工作による強度の競技)と2007年度の決勝戦(天井の高さの測定)について報告する。
