In order to investigate the psychosocial factors influencing the recreation activity of college students, a survey was administered to 951 college students between 18 and 22 years of age It was found that almost college students had good image to recreation activity, and they expect the friend-ship, peaceful mind and stress management to paticipant of recreation activity But actually they participated days per week have only one day for 38 1%, 2 days for 25 4% respectively It was result that most college students have desire to much participated chance to recreation activity

本研究では,幼少期の親の養育態度と前青年期の友人関係の持ち方が青年期の対人恐怖心性に与える影響について,大学生を対象に質問紙調査を行い,相関分析と3要因分散分析を行った。相関分析の結果,親の養護が高いと感じている人ほど,チャムシップを築きやすく,親の過保護が高いと感じている人ほど,チャムシップを築きにくい,ということが示唆された。また,分散分析の結果,母親では,過保護の高さとチャムシップ体験の低さが対人恐怖心性に関連していることが示唆され,父親では,養護の低さとチャムシップ体験の低さが,それぞれ個別に対人恐怖心性を高めることが示唆された。以上の結果を元に,青年期における対人恐怖心性が高まる要因と親への支援,また,子どもの発達促進のために,教員・スクールカウンセラーに求められる関わり方についても考察を行った。In this study, it was carried out a questionnaire survey for university students, correlation analysis and 3 factor analysis of variance about the influence of parents' rearing attitudes in childhood and relationship with friends in preadolescence upon anthrophobic tendency in adolescence. Results of correlation analysis, the fact was suggested that the more people who are feeling high parent of nursing, easy tobuild chum ship, the more people who feel high parent overprotective, hard to build chum ship. In addition, result of 3 factor analysis of variance, in the mother, high of overprotective and low of chum ship experience was suggested to be associated with anthrophobic tendency, in the father, low of nursing and low of chum ship experience was suggested to increase individually anthrophobic tendency. Based on the above results, we discussed the factors in the increase of anthrophobic tendency in adolescence, and support for the parent, and way of relationship that expected teachers and school counselors for the sake of childrenʼs developmental promotion.

The empowerment approach to patients with diabetes is a philosophy that was introduced by Robert M. Anderson and Martha M. Funnell of Michigan Diabetes Research and Training Center in the 1990s. This approach is based on the observation that more than 98% of diabetes care is performed by patients themselves. Dr. Anderson, Ms. Funnell, and their colleagues found that every patient has a right and an ability to solve his/her own problem in his/her own diabetes. Therefore healthcare providers should provide support for patients own endeavors. Empowerment has three essential elements: 1) the patient is centered, they make a final decision of their daily self-management, and are responsible for those decisions and the results; 2) patient support is the main role of healthcare providers; and 3) patient and healthcare providers should collaborate. In this author's opinion, it is important for healthcare providers to improve their communication skills to use the empowerment approach to help patients change their behaviors in the real world. To encourage empowerment, we created a unique learning program for healthcare providers, named “Diabetes Theater”. This program is an interactive workshop comprising two parts: drama and discussion.

宇宙日本食の開発は、2002年2月に(社)日本食品科学工学会が宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA)の前身である、宇宙開発事業団(NASDA)から「宇宙食としての日本食の開発に関する研究」の委託を受けたのが始まりである。(社)日本食品科学工学会を中心に、大学や公的研究機関と日本の食品企業でプロジェクトチームが組織された。開発のための取り組みとして、日本における宇宙食の認証のための規格・基準作り、その運用などがあげられた。現在、それらがまとめられ、JAXA. HP.宇宙日本食(http://iss.jaxa.jp/spacefood/index.html)に提示されている。ただ、当時それらの課題解決のための考え方や進め方がわからなかった。宇宙食の開発およびその現状把握を含め、米国のNASAへ調査することになり、2002年3月にジョンソン宇宙センター(JSC;テキサス州、ヒューストン)とケネディー宇宙センター(KSC;フロリダ州、オーランド)を訪問した。そのときの調査に参加した食品企業である、味の素(株)、日清食品ホールディングス(株)、理研ビタミン(株)、ヤマザキナビスコ(株)、そしてカゴメ(株)と学会関係者、NASDAのメンバーは、「宇宙日本食を創る」という強い意志を確かめ合って、「ドリーム・チーム」と呼ぶことにした。なお、その後「ドリーム・チーム」には、ハウス食品(株)、尾西食品(株)、三井農林(株)、(株)マルハニチロホールディングス、山崎製パン(株)、キューピー(株)、そして新規の容器開発で大日本印刷(株)が加わった。本報告では食品企業における「ドリーム・チーム」の活動についてまとめることにする。

本研究では幼児がどのように因果的な話を産出するかを検討した。5 ~ 6 歳の幼児46 名に3枚の絵カードを見せ、話を作ることを求めた。幼児に呈示した絵には具象的なものと非具象的なものとがあった。幼児へのインタヴューの結果、具象的な絵では、5 歳児の38%、6 歳児の56%が因果的な話を作ることができた。しかし非具象的な絵では、ほとんどの5 歳児が話を作ることができなかった。話を作ることができた子どものうちの何人かは接続詞や副詞を使用したが、それらの使用は5 歳児ではほとんど見られなかった。これらの結果から、因果的な話の産出はディスコースの発達に支えられており、子どもは6 歳までに「起承結(発端・展開・解決)」という物語構造を獲得することが示唆された。

This study aims to investigate the travel backgrounds and attitude of the visitors from overseas as well as how Nara's tourism-related facilities and services are used and evaluated. Responses were obtained from 679 multinational visitors by questionnaires filled in at Chumon Gate of Todaiji Temple as well as at various overnight accommodations. Major findings may be summarized as follows: 1) Firsttime visitors on sightseeing tour of Japan tended to include Nara in their itinerary. 2) Major reasons to stay in Nara were their interest in and love for what this historic city can offer, while major reasons of a day trip to Nara were mostly on account of their tight tour schedule in Japan. 3) Some of their positive images of Nara were its history/culture, friendly people, nature/landscape, and tranquil atmosphere, while some of their negative images included a variety of attractions and shopping environment much to the disappointment of those involved in this sector of services. 4) Overall evaluation of the tourism-related facilities and services showed higher marks of the tourist information center and lower marks of the multinational signs and expository comments available at bus and tourist spots. 5) The differences of travel backgrounds, attitude, and use of tourism-related services were identified by nationality, age, gender, type of travel, and travel experiences.
