For a horizontal well or an extended reach well, which is promising for well construction in . future, a well casing is subjected to local wear of wall thickness on its inside surface due to rotational contact with tool joint or drill pipe during drilling. Collapse strength of worn casing is analyzed as an unstable problem by the elastic-plastic finite-element method (FEM) and the decrease ratio of collapse strength due to casing wear is formulated by nonlinear programming using parameters of the wear shape. The elastic-plastic FEM is fully applicable as values calculated by the FEM program agree well with those of experiments. It was found that the decrease ratio of collapse strength of a worn casing is linearly proportional to the decrease ratio of wall thickness in both modes of plastic collapse and elastic collapse, and that the apical angle of the wear shape has a slight influence on collapse strength.

1 研究目的本研究は新潟県十日町市に伝承されている玩具菓子『ちんころ』および新潟県中越地方を中心にして日本各地に伝承されているちんころに類似した玩具菓子のデザイン性について、現地調査をもとに主にデザイン的な見地から比較研究を行なうことを目的とした。2 研究方法(1) 現地調査対象地新潟県十日町市、熊本県山鹿市、秋田県湯沢市、石川県輪島市、三重県菰野町、千葉県松戸市(2) 調査項目玩具菓子の実物の入手および撮影、制作工程の取材、配布・頒布の状況取材、過去の資料の収集3 研究成果(1) 総じて米を素材としている。菰野町の事例を除き大部分は米の粉を練って造形されており、弾力性やコシなどの材料的特性から造形が導かれている。(2) 寺社を通じて配布若しぐは頒布されているものは素朴な造形であり、民間で頒布されているものほど手が込んでいて個性的な造形である傾向にある。(3) 造形には地域的な特性が認められるが、どの地域でも決まりごとが存在するわけではなく、作り手が自由に造形することが許容され複数のタイプのデザインが存在している。(4) 寺社を通さず民間で頒布を行なう地域においても、玩具菓子が信仰の対象となっているケースが見受けられた。(5) それぞれの玩具菓子が素材(米)・モチーフ(犬)・信仰の相関関係からデザインされた形態であると推測することができる。(6) 現存する犬の玩具菓子には時代によって盛衰が見られることから、各地に類似するものが比較的近年まで残されていた可能性を推測でき、今後の調査課題となった。

高齢者の睡眠を援助することを目的に、高吸水性樹脂を使ったホットパックを作成した。この用具は入浴に比べ簡便に実施できる特徴を持つ。深部温を一旦あげ、次いで低下させるが、この変動時に睡眠が誘導される。実際に施設入所の高齢者に実施したところ、夜間の睡眠の質が向上した(睡眠潜時と中途覚醒の減少)。特に、日頃から不眠を訴える群で、その効果は大きい。この用具を使った睡眠援助のための看護プログラムを作成した。

Gui (鬼) and Shen (神) are the ancestral soul and God of a mountain or a river. Guai (怪), Li (力), Luan (乱), Shen (神) are God of what uses a supernatural creature and the violence that is not right, the thing which revolts against order, and mountain and river. Kongzi (孔子) prayed to these deities. Then, he taught people to obtain happiness and profits by own efforts, without asking for happiness or profits. However, many people think that they would like to obtain happiness simply, without having a longing to the thing with "the mystical supernatural power" which man cannot know, and making a painful effort. Although Kongzi (孔子) taught the ideal in opposition to many people following the social custom, many people must have followed the social custom rather than Kongzi's ideal. According to the research which academic predecessors have investigated, a monument which has been carved and stands has three characters of a "Shigandang" (石敢當), or five characters of a "Taishanshigandang"(泰山石敢當) on a rectangular slate, and generally pays homage to an evil spirit. Although it started in China, in Japan, there are many in Okinawa (沖縄) (islands of the circumferences, such as AmamiOshima (奄美大島) and Tokunoshima (徳之島), is included), Kagoshima (鹿児島), Miyazaki (宮崎), and then Akita (秋田). About the districts in Okinawa with many Shigandang, I investigated these places and made what was displayed on the map. In a few areas, the name of a place with a Shigandang can be seen. However, this thesis changes a viewpoint taken by many so far and examines the historical progress of the Shigandang from the past to present.

Picrite basalts containing MgO up to 16 wt.% were found in the lowest part of the Pliocene Uegusukudake Formation on the north coast of Kumejima island ; in the close proximity northwest of the island lies an active back-arc basin, Okinawa Trough. The high Fo (92.2) of olivine and Cr_2O_3 (56.5%) of spinel in the picrite basalts indicate the existence of a magma with >13% MgO and >0.15% Cr_2O_3. The Kumejima picrite basalts are tholeiitic arc picrites having relatively high SiO_2 and low incompatible element abundances.They may have formed accompanying the opening of the Okinawa Trough.

Sapacitabine (CS-682 or CYC682; 1-[2-C-cyano-2-deoxy-β-D-arabino-pentfuranosyl]N4-palmitoyl cytosine), a novel antitumor 2′-deoxycytidine analogue, shows a marked reduction in the water solubility because of the fatty acid side chain on the N4 group of the cytosine moiety. Poor water solubility is one of the important reasons why sapacitabine does not exert maximum antitumor activity. Therefore, we attempted to improve the water solubility of sapacitabine using a novel surfactant, Soluplus®, which consisted of a polyvinyl caprolactam–polyvinyl acetate–polyethylene glycol graft copolymer. In this study, we examined whether Soluplus® increased the water solubility and an antitumor activity of sapacitabine. The cytotoxicity of Soluplus® alone was lower than that of Tween 80 and Kolliphor® D-α-tocopherylpolyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (TPGS). The water solubility and the chemosensitivity of sapacitabine against several tumor cell lines to sapacitabine markedly increased upon using Soluplus®. In addition, the potential of Soluplus® including sapacitabine in increasing the antitumor activity was compared with sapacitabine alone in vivo. Although the total dose in the experimental period was considerably lower than the effective dose of sapacitabine alone, the life span of mice treated with sapacitabine containing 40 mg/mL Soluplus® increased by 150%. If Soluplus® was used as the solubilizing agent in clinical trials of sapacitabine, a low administration dose was appeared to require, and thus side effects might be prevented.
