本稿は、日本社会の水面下で深刻化しつつある学齢超過者の学習権というグローバルな課題について、就学支援という形で支えるローカルの実践事例から、ボランティアの意義を考察したものである。未だ日本に居住する外国人の初等教育が保障される仕組みは構築されていない。そのため、学齢(日本の義務教育年限)期であるにもかからず、学校に通ってない不就学の子どもが実在する。こうした背景により、学齢期に不就学であった外国人住民は学齢を超過した時には義務教育未修了者となるものの、社会から「見えない」存在であるがために、日本社会では学齢を超過した外国人の学習権という課題が置き去りにされてきた。そのなかで、外国人が多く暮らす地域では、ボランティアが中心となり、学齢を超過した義務教育未修了の外国人住民の就学支援を行っている。画一的な思考ではなくグローバルとローカルの複眼的思考を持ったボランティアの尽力は、学齢超過者の「日本で生活していく中で高校進学して学力を向上したい」「美容師になりたい」などの夢の具現化に大きく寄与している。

The influence of tropical cyclones (TC) on the western North Pacific (WNP) summer monsoon flow and its impact on rainfall in the Philippines during the months of June to September from 1958 to 2017 were investigated. High precipitation event (HPE) days with rainfall in the upper 85th, 95th, and 99th percentile were determined using daily rainfall averaged from eight synoptic stations in northwestern Philippines. More than 90 % of HPE days coincide with TC occurrence in the WNP and landfalling TCs only account for 12.8-15.1 % of HPE days. The present study looks at the non-landfalling TCs coincident with the HPEs. The result shows that these non-landfalling TCs are critical in remotely affecting almost all local HPEs in northwestern Philippines. Analysis of the TC tracks and their influence on the southwesterly of the summer monsoon flow in Southeast Asia during HPE days show that most of the TCs moved along a line segment connecting northern Luzon and Okinawa, Japan. The composite low-level flow of all HPE days is characterized by a zonally-oriented eastward trough of the 1005-1007 hPa sea level isobar along 20°N that extends to at least 135°E longitude over the northern half of the Philippines, and a deepening of the monsoon trough in northern South China Sea. The 1005-1007 hPa trough induces an eastward shift of the southwesterly that increased the mean zonal wind along western Luzon by 1.94-4.69 times and water vapor flux by 2.67-6.92 times by way of the ‘moisture conveyor belt’. In addition, significant increasing trends of 6.0 % per decade in the mean annual number of HPE days per decade and 12.7 % per decade in the annual total HPE precipitation are found for the upper 85th percentile daily rainfall. These are attributed to the recent changes in WNP TC tracks.

This paper introduces "Nagasaki Kankei Monjo (The Documents related to Nagasaki)" which is archived at Hideo Tsuda Library of Kansai University, and aims to investigate the life in Nagasaki Kaisyo at the end of Tokugawa Syogunate. "Nagasaki Kankei Monjo" contains huge amount of documents, mainly consists of documents written by (or suspected to be written by) Yamada (山田) Kaduki (香月), the official working at Nagasaki Kaisyo, and documents of Ito Family, and trading records at Nagasaki Kaisyo. This paper focus on "Honuri Negumi Cho (本売直組帳) to investigate "Negumi (直組)", the products imported by Chinese or Dutch ships to Japan in 1845. Nagasaki Kaisyo handled "Negumi (直組)" for variety kinds of imported products. We think it basically carried out its business by sometimes raising the price of imported goods, and othertimes by folloing the precedent price "Zenkakusumi Nedan (前格済直段)". By using these two methods, the Kaisyo could carried out its business smoothly. In addition to that, this paper investigate diaries wirtten (or suspected to be written) by the officials in Kaisyo like Yamada, and introduced their activities like going to Osaka, during Genji and Keio periods.

The H-IIB launch vehicle is an upgraded version of the current H-IIA launch capacity, which has two liquid rocket engines (LE-7A) in the first-stage, instead of one for the H-IIA. It has four SRB-As attached to the body, while the standard version of H-IIA had two SRB-As. One of the major design issue of H-IIB launch vehicle is increased prume heating due to clustering two LE-7A engines and four SRB-As, especially the interaction of engine prumes at high altitude. This paper describes the prume analysys method of H-IIB launch vehicle which is based on the flight proven method of the current H-IIA launch.

サケ科イワナ属のオショロコマ(Salvelinus malma malma)は、国内では降海しない陸封型が北海道にのみ生息し、環境省レッドデータブックの絶滅危惧Ⅱ類(VU)に選定されている。一般に河川最上流域に生息し、オショロコマより下流には同属のエゾイワナ(S. leucomaenis leucomaenis)が分布するとされている。これらは、人工的河川横断構造物と外来種のニジマス(Oncorhynchus mykiss)の定着によって個体数が減少している可能性がある。そこで、環境DNA分析手法を用いて年間を通したサンプリングを行い、オショロコマ、エゾイワナ、およびニジマスそれぞれの生息の有無とその季節変化を調べた。大雪山系周辺の石狩川水系支流の支流系1、ピウケナイ川、オサラッペ川を調査地とし、構造物の上下での採水を含め、計16地点で採水を行った。その結果、支流系1流域ではオショロコマが最上流域、エゾイワナが中上流域で検出され、ニジマスは下流域でのみ検出された。ピウケナイ川流域ではオショロコマとニジマスが全地点で検出され、エゾイワナは検出されなかった。一方、オサラッペ川では3種いずれも検出率が低かった。調査地点ごとの検出の有無について一般化線形混合モデルによる解析を実施したところ、移動の時期や方向性および構造物の障壁としての機能などは明確にできなかったが、オショロコマが上流に多いのに対して、エゾイワナとニジマスは下流に多い傾向を示し、しかもオショロコマとニジマスについては排他的ではない可能性が示された。しかし、これはニジマスによる競争排除が無いことを保証せず、有効性が示された環境DNA分析を駆使し、継続的なモニタリングを行い定量的な把握を目指す必要があるだろう。

本研究は,岐阜県飛騨地域において,ブリ・サケの消費動向と,年末の伝統的風習「年取り」で用いられる年取魚としてのブリに関する人々の消費実態やそれへの認識について明らかにする.アンケート調査によると,日常の食事では,ブリよりもサケを食べる頻度が高い人が多い.しかし,ブリの摂食頻度は20年程前に比べても維持している人が多い.産地に対する人々の関心,認知も高い.年取魚としてのブリ消費の習慣を多くの人々が知っていて,かつそれを実行していた.多くの人が年末にブリを食べることが地域の食文化として重要と考え,年取魚ブリは日本海産であることを望み,伝統的形態からの変更(減塩での製造や切り身での販売)があっても「年取り」に用いる品として妥当と考えていた.
