本研究の目的は, いわゆる「仲間はずれ」とよばれる, 異質な他者を集団から排除することについての判断の発達を検討することであった。研究1では, 小学生, 中学生, 大学生を対象に, 私的集団(遊び仲間集団)と公的集団(班)のそれぞれにおいて, 社会的領域理論の3領域(道徳, 慣習, 個人)に対応した行動の特徴を持つ他者に対する排除判断(集団から排除することを認めるか), その理由, 変容判断(その他者の特徴は変わるべきか)を求めた。その結果, 年齢とともに, 排除自体の不公平性に注目し排除される他者の特徴を区別しない判断から, 集団機能に注目し他者の特徴を細かく区別する判断へ変化した。小学生は2つの集団を区別して判断する一方で, 他者は変わるべきであると考える傾向が見られた。研究2では, 小学生と中学生を対象に, 友人への志向性の差と排除判断の関係を検討した。閉鎖的, 固定的な集団への志向性および友人への同調欲求が高いと, 集団排除を認めることが示唆された。最後に, 本研究の限界と今後の課題が議論された。

The Ryukyu Arc-Okinawa Trough system is one of several arc-backarc systems alongthe margin of the western Pacific and east Asia. Recent results of seismic refractionand reflection studies have revealed that the origin of the trough is the continental rifting, and the trough is in a state of the active rifting stage (e. g. Hirata et al., 1991; Furukawa et al., 1991). Basement rocks and sediments to appraise for the age of the trough, however, have notbeen sampled by deep sea drilling. Then the formation age of the trough was mainlyexamined by the geological studies of the Ryukyu Arc and Okinawa Trough areas andpaleomagnetic stud -ies of the Ryukyu Arc.Geological sequence of the Ryukyu Arc is generally divided into two units, thepre-Miocene basement complex and post-middle Miocene sediments (e. g. Kizaki, 1986). Thenorth and central Ryukyu Arcs represent the geological continuation of the Outer Beltof the south west Japan Arc, composed of the Mesozoic to Eocene sedimentary sequences, whereas thesouth Ryukyu Arc is characterized by high-pressure metamorphic rocks and the Eocenevolcanics and limestone. The geological and structural contrasts between the north-central andsouth Ryukyu Arcs are conspicuous before the late Miocene. These observations suggest that theformation of the Okinawa Trough have been originated since the Miocene, and the Ryukyu Archave been established since then.Paleomagnetic studies for the the Eocene to Pliocene volcanics and sedimentscollected from the Ryukyu Arc and northeast Taiwan suggest that the south Ryukyu Arc rotatedclockwise 19° with respect to the central Ryukyu Arc and Taiwan between 10 Ma and 4 Ma.Paleomagnetic studies attribute this rotation to the opening of the southern part of theOkinawa Trough during 10 and 4 Ma (Miki et al., 1990; Miki, 1991).The acoustic sequence in the trough can be divided into three units. And the eachunit are correlated to the Pliocene to early Pleistocene, middle to late Pleistocene, and late Pleistocene to Recent sediments in descending stratigraphic order. Widespreaddeformation by normal faulting is especially developed in the lowest unit which displays horst andgraben structures. The deformation would have originated at about the Plio-Pleistoceneboundary and formed the prototype of the trough (Furukawa et al., 1991). Synthesizes of the above studies have resulted in interpretativedevelopment of the trough as follows; a major phase of formation of the trough occurred during 10 and4 Ma, and reactivation of the formation of the trough occurred after 2 Ma. Recent studies fortherifting of several continental margins, however, suggest that the intra-arc rifts evolved 10times as first as major intra-continental rifts, and the life time of the rapid rifting is onlyabout 3 to 5 Myr (Yamaji and Takeshita, 1989). The middle Pleistocene reefal limestone dredged fromsome knolls in the Okinawa Trough indicate that the subsidence of the trough was about500-1, 000m after the middle Pleistocene. As a preliminary conclusion, therefore, the age ofthe trough could be estimated to be roughly 2 Ma. The present age estimation is againstrecently proposed clockwise rotation of the south Ryukyu Arc due to the opening of thetrough from 10 Ma to 4 Ma which was reported by the paleomagnetic study.

IRIとSIB頻度の関係とSIBの時間分布3. ヒトのSIB研究の意義と今後の展望The intermittent presentation of food to a food deprived animal has been shown to result in the appearance of a class of behaviros collectively referred to as adjunctive behavior or schedule-induced behavior. Within the animal literature behaviors such as polydipsia, aggression, pica, excessive food consumption have been classified as schedule-induced. While schedule-induced behavior investigations have been extended to include the study of human subjects, the procedure and the way of data analysis in human studies have usually differed from those in animal studies. The schedule-induced studies in human are critically reviewed in this paper and following problems are pointed out. (1) Arbitrary definition of the operant behavior and the reinforcer in the human studies. (2) The lack of assessment for schedule performances. (3) The use of inappropriate control procedures to assess the baseline rate of behavior. (4) The relationship between the inter-reinforcement interval and the amount of schedule-induced behavior was not clear.

1. 序2. 芸術社会学の課題3. 家元集団の構造4. 芸道について5. 型ということ6. 結語By the word "Iemoto", literally an "original house", is here meant the "originator" of a school in characteristic Japanese art or ceremony, such as "Cha-no-yu" (tea-ceremony), "Ikebana" (flower arrangement), etc. The "Iemoto" system consists of an originator or head master and his pupils ar followers. In the "Iemoto" system there are so many rules which must be strictly observed by the members of the group. In the present essay the writer, from the sociological point of view sees into the relations between the head master and his pupils, studying some of the fundamental regulations that should be kept by the pupils. The "Iemoto" must keep the traditional forms of art and faithfully hand them down to posterity. The faithful observance of the forms means the maintenance of the traditions and authority of the original house. The present writer regards the pupils' respect for the traditional forms and the original house as the fundamental element to the "Iemoto" system. It may be said that the problems of the "Iemoto" system should inevitable be studied in relation to those of the characteristic Japanese family system. And as to this point the writer intends to make a thorough investigation in the near future.

ハスモンヨトウ野外個体群の密度の変動に果たす天敵の役割を評価するために,すべての天敵の働きを除去する区,地上移動性天敵の働きを除去する区,天敵を自由に働かせる区の3つの実験区を用いて生命表の作成を試みた。その結果,ハスモンヨトウの1令幼虫期から成虫の羽化までに99.8~100%の高い死亡率がみられ,その内68~89%が,天敵による死亡と評価された。天敵として,6種の寄生性天敵と13種の捕食性天敵が確認された。なかでも,ふ化幼虫集団を分散させて間接的に死亡に導くコサラグモと中・老令幼虫を捕食するアシナガバチがハスモンヨトウ幼虫の個体数変動に重要な役割を果していることが明らかになった。ハスモンヨトウの生存曲線はコサラグモの密度の高い梅雨期にはDEEVEY (1947)のタイプIIIになるが,コサラグモの密度の低い夏期にはタイプIIに移行し,天敵が働かなければタイプIになり,天敵の働き方によって生存曲線のタイプが必ずしも一定でないことが解った。

Esterification, sulfonylation, amide formation, and silylations are well recognized as frequently used reactions for organic syntheses. Recent syntheses of fine chemicals and complex natural products, however, require further rationalization of these reactions. We describe herein our recent studies in this area including related representative known methods.(i) Recent progresses of catalytic esterifications are surveyed and we introduce two efficient ammonium triflate catalysts (DPAT and PFPAT) for esterification between 1 : 1 mixture of carboxylic acids and alcohols. (ii) Conventional condensation reagents for esterifications, thioesterifications, and amide formation, are listed and we introduce efficient methods using Me2NSO2Cl/ Me2NR and p-TsCl/N-methylimidazole. (iii) As a promising method for the replacement of conventional pyridine-method, we introduce efficient pyridine-free improved methods, which utilize sterically uncrowded tertiary amines such as Me3N·HCl/Et3N and Me2N (CH2) nNMe2 as a key protocol. (iv) We introduce highly powerful, neutral, and catalytic methods for silylations of alcohols (giving enol ethers) and ketones (giving enol silyl ethers) using hydrosilanes, disilanes, and silazanes.
