「薬学実務実習に関するガイドライン」では,大学への指針として,「実習施設に対し,大学における学習内容と到達度に関する情報を実習開始前に提供することが重要である」と述べられている.近畿地区では,毎年,近畿全域の実習施設に近畿14大学の約2,400名の学生が割り振られ,実習施設は各大学から多様な学生を受け入れることになる.各大学独自の評価基準で学生の到達度を提示すると,実習施設では混乱が生じることが懸念される.そこで,近畿地区調整機構では,学生の到達度を統一の基準で評価し実習施設に提示することで,実習施設が受入れ学生の到達度に合わせ実務実習を円滑に最適化できるのではないかと考えた.また,評価基準の作成を通して,大学における臨床準備教育の内容について改めて見直すきっかけにつながるものと期待した.本稿では,「臨床準備教育における概略評価表(例示)〈近畿地区版〉」の作成の経緯と運用状況について紹介する.

本研究は、女性向けAVを性的主体化の装置として捉え、視聴者の受容・抵抗を、SNSの自然言語処理とインタビュー調査によって、調査の(不)可能性を踏まえながら明らかにする。表象を消費する側の存在として「女性」主体を位置づけるという第三波フェミニズムの潮流のもとでポルノを分析するとき、ポルノを男性の性的主体化の装置として捉えた赤川学の理論が有用である。と同時に赤川の理論の、「見る主体」としての「女性」が射程に入っていないこと、主体化への抵抗可能性が明らかでないことの2点の克服が目指される。調査可能性自体、セクシュアル・ストーリー論の枠組で反省的に分析しながら、語りのデータから理論の再構成を試みる。

Various custom-made phantoms designed to optimize magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences have been created and subsequently reported in JSRT. However, custom-made phantoms that correctly match the T1-value and T2-values of human brain tissue (gray matter and white matter) cannot be made easily or quickly. The aim of this project was to search for alternative materials, such as fruits and vegetables, for optimizing MRI sequences. The following eight fruits and vegetables were investigated: apple, tomato, melon, apple mango (Mangifera indica), banana, avocado, peach, and eggplant. Their potential was studied for use in modeling phantoms of normal human brain tissues. MRI (T1- and T2-weighted sequences) was performed on the human brain and the fruits and vegetables using various concentrations of contrast medium (gadolinium) in the same size tubes as the custom-made phantom. The authors compared the signal intensity (SI) in human brain tissue (gray matter and white matter) with that of the fruits and the custom-made phantom. The T1 and T2 values were measured for banana tissue and compared with those for human brain tissue in the literature. Our results indicated that banana tissue is similar to human brain tissue (both gray matter and white matter). Banana tissue can thus be employed as an alternative phantom for the human brain for the purpose of MRI.

There seems to be a consensus among philosophers who are interested in Russell's early philosophy of mathematics. They hold that we can best understand the process of its development on the assumption that Russell kept trying to reconcile a type-theoretical solution to the paradoxes with the doctrine of univocality of being. This assumption have worked well in so far as to reconstruct the history of Russell's endearvor from Principles of Mathematics (1903) through the invention of substitutional theory (1905-7). Taking Principia Mathematica (1910) into consideration, however, this assumption seems to fail. There are many questions left unanswerable concerning the relation between PM and his former position. In this paper, I will survey some of the recent findings in the Russell Archives and Gregory Landini's works based on these findings, and clarify the relevance they could have to the "unanswered questions" mentioned above.

A conodont fauna characterized by Streptognathodus species was recovered from a limestone block (previously called Ōboradani Formation) of the Ōtani (=Ohtani or Otani) Formation belonging to the Hida Gaien belt distributed in the Kuzuryu area, Fukui Prefecture, central Japan. The fauna consists of Streptognathodus corrugatus, S. elegantulus, S. excelsus, S. gracilis, Idiognathodus sp., Gondolella bella, G. cf. elegantula and G. cf. pohli. These streptognathodids have a wide geographic distribution and indicate a middle-late Kasimovian (Late Pennsylvanian) age, which is slightly older than the Gzhelian (latest Pennsylvanian) age infferred from fusulinid fossils in previous studies. Thus, the limestone block of the Ōtani Formation probably contains the Upper Pennsylvanian carbonate succession.

Prosocial behaviors have been considered a hallmark of humans in the past. However, accumulating experimental data in comparative cognitive science have revealed that nonhuman animals also show prosocial behaviors. Nevertheless, its evolutionary path has remained unclear despite a great deal of recent research effort. In this paper, I first review experimental studies on prosocial behaviors in nonhuman primates, by focusing on the influences of request behavior and social closeness. Then, I evaluate some factors that have been thought to play an important role in facilitating the convergent evolution of prosocial behaviors (inequity aversion, interdependence, tolerance) based on experimental data. I finally propose some possible future studies to explore the evolutionary path of prosocial behaviors, by referring to the previously discussed psychological mechanism that seems to support nonhuman primates’ prosocial behaviors (Yamamoto & Takimoto, 2012).

This paper examines how the editorial focus of the Japanese gay magazine Badi has shifted over time and how the magazine has shaped the identity of gay men in Japan. Badi is the most popular magazine for gay men in Japan today. Its creation in 1993 coincided with a period of marked change in Japanese society regarding views toward homosexuality as well as with several watershed events such as in 1991 when homophobia was first addressed in a Japanese court and in 1994 when the first pride parade was held in Tokyo. By examining Badi as part of the Japanese gay liberation movement of the 1990s, and dividing the magazine’s editorial run into four distinct periods, we show that although the editors shaped the new identity and lifestyle, they were bolstered by masculinity.

1930年代のイタリアでは、短期間に同じようなエクステリアとインテリアを有する新形式車両として気動車と電車が全国に大量導入された。流線型の先頭形状、丸みを帯びた車体断面、屋根から床下近くまで平滑に仕上げられた車体、茶色の濃淡で統一された塗装、一室空間による開放的な車内、連続する窓とヴォールトの高い天井、それらは同年代に登場した新形式車両にそれぞれ共通する特徴である。これらのデザイン的特質は、表層的なスタイリングの操作ではなく合理的な構造がダイレクトに形態に反映されたものである。そのため余分な装飾や機能は微塵も認められない。しかも製作メーカーの違い、内燃機関か電動機かという動力形式の違いを越えて、ほぼ一様に単純化されたスタイルが反復されている。一定のコードで統一されたシンプルなデザインは、1930年代の新形式車両デザインの特質といえる。そして形態を極端なまでに単純化させることで全体の調和の図られていたモダンデザインの駅舎と、機能に即して無駄な要素をそぎ落としデザインを先鋭化させていった新形式車両。ミニマルなデザインを実現したという点で、1930年代のイタリアに生み出された両者は相通じている。
