We examined the correlation between the odour desirability and the overall desirability by a sensory evaluation of four kinds of soybean paste (miso), differing in the food material and/or fermentation period. Compared with the three other kinds of miso, soy miso was particularly disliked for both its odour and overall attributes. The results of the sensory evaluation also suggested that familiarity with the food contributed to its overall desirability. Most subjects seemed to be unfamiliar with soy miso and barley miso, although barley miso was acceptable as well as the two kinds of rice miso. The aromas of these four kinds of miso were then investigated by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatographic-olfactometric (GC-O) analysis. The results showed that soy miso had a characteristic odour which was undesirable and resulted in a low evaluation. The results of this survey of miso for food preference suggest that an unpleasant odour induced an overall dislike for it.

人生の最終段階における医療に対する選択肢も多様化してきている。人生の最終段階における医療は、高齢者だけではなく、子どもからすべての年齢層の人々を対象とし、人生のQOLに焦点をあてた「人生の最期までその人らしく生きること」を前提にした考え方が重要である。人々の生死の問題を支える医療モデルから、その人の住む地域でどのように誰と生活するかを見据えた生活支援・家族支援を含む生活モデルを重視し、医療・看護・福祉が連携し、生活を統合する包括的ケアが求められてきている。そして、療養者にとって最善の医療が受けられるように、療養者の尊厳を守り、看護実践の中で、意思決定の支援などを家族とともに考え、支援していくことが在宅看護の果たす役割であると考える。The choices to end of life care are diversifying. End of life care should care people of all ages from children to senior citizens, and have to focus on QOL that the patients are able to live their own life until their last moment.Moreover, it has been demanded that the medical treatment, nursing, and welfare should be united with patients' life as well as Life/death problem and support of patients' family are equally emphasized.In my conclusion, the role of home care is to respect patients' dignity, and to support their family can make right decision on patients' medical treatment, so that the patients can receive the best treatment they want.

The act that a human being sees things can exist by the relations of the applicable thing at the side seen with the human being at the side to see. Then, "The visual image" is the sensory figure which occurs by the specification of the view which these mutual relations are tied to by the point of view. But, view is shifted due to the movement of the point of view of the person who sees it because it can exist by the relations of the object seen with the human being who sees it, and a phenomenon which makes a figure change by the applicable thing itself that it is reflected to the view from the point of view of the person who was fixed with the case that it becomes specification and who sees it working and to specify can be thought about the act that a human being sees things. So, it didn't move it by this thesis through the point of view, but therefore it did research about the art work which made "The visual image" which it was reflected to in the view change to move a work itself.

The relationship between exercise behavior and the Big Five personality traits in Japanese adults (N=4,313, 2,618 men, 1,695 women; mean age=49.05 years, SD=10.84, age range=20–69 years) was investigated. Results indicated that exercise behavior was significantly correlated with Neuroticism (ρ=−.12), Extraversion (ρ=.18), Openness (ρ=.14), Agreeableness (ρ=.06), and Conscientiousness (ρ=.13). Controlling for sex, age, body mass index, educational level, household income, marital status, and the number of children indicated that levels of Extraversion and Openness were positively and significantly associated with exercise behavior. These findings suggest that personality traits influenced exercise behavior in Japanese people, and corroborated international studies.

After the first designation as a planned city by the City Planning Act, Gifu City had quickly expanded its limits during the early Showa era. In the first stage of Gifu City Planning Project, it was aimed to be grown as the city of manufacturing industry. According this vision the main street network was planned. The suburban parts of this street network were, however, decided to construct as the Land Readjustment Projects to save the public construction costs. After all, the landowners of the Land Readjustment Project's sites seemed not to follow the initial vision of the City Planning, but to intend to develop their lands for ideal residential areas. As the result, Gifu City experienced the major change of its planning vision from the modern industrial city to the modern city of residence and tourism at this moment. It corresponds to the fact that mayor, Kunimatsu Matsuo, with rising bureaucrats set the policy of creating such type of city as a reasonable means for arbitrating conflict with emerging middle class and traditional landowners.

多くのアスリートがアクアチタン含有首輪(アクア首輪)を付けて競技を行っている。その効果は多く謳われているが,その効果のメカニズムに関して,近年,実験動物を用いて行われたものが報告されてきた。しかしながら,このアクア首輪を装着した犬に関する報告はない。今回,アクア首輪を2頭の犬に装着し,その行動の変化を調べた。それらの犬においては,装着後行動が活発になった。アクア首輪の効果を解明するために,5頭のビーグルにアクア首輪を装着し,対照群として装着していない犬5頭共に自動車による3時間の移動ストレスを与えた。そして,ストレスマーカーである白血球数,リンパ球数,血清コルチゾールおよび唾液中クロモグラニンAを調べた。その結果,すべての項目において,ストレスパターンを示したが,両群間に差がみられなかった。しかしながら,血清コルチゾール値の相対値が,ストレス負荷時においてアクア首輪群が対照群と比べて有意に低かった。したがって,犬においてアクア首輪はコルチゾール抑制効果を示す可能性を示された。
