論説軍事力の形成が第一義的に追求された計画経済期の財政制度の影響が残り, 国防関連費がさまざまな部門に分散したままであることから, 中国の国防費の全体像を掴むことは困難である。また公表国防費のなかでも, 細目の支出額が明らかにされておらず, 加えて後年度負担金の状況が不明であることにより, 現行の「国防費」の概念の範囲内から読み取れる情報もきわめて限定的である。予算については一定のルールに従って編成作業が行なわれているとみられるが, その作業の中心は中央軍事委員会, 人民解放軍であり, 国防部の役割はみえてこない。公表国防費の総額の変動は, 計画経済期においても経済改革以降も, 「経済建設の大局に従う」ものであり, 国防支出水準は前年の水準に規定されるものとなっている。It is difficult to grasp the overall picture of China's defense cost since defense-related spending remains scattered throughout various sectors, as a result of the influence of the fiscal system under the planned economy regime when the formation of military power was sought after as a primary goal. The breakdown of expenditures in the disclosed national defense cost, as well as the status of changes in subsequent years remain undisclosed, limiting the amount of information gleaned from the confines of the current "national defense cost" concept. Budget compilation is seen to follow a certain rule, but the process centers around the Central Military Commission and the People's Liberation Army, with the role of Ministry of National Defense yet to be clarified. An annual change in the total amount of publicly disclosed national defense costs is "in accordance with the general situation of the building up of economy" both during the planned economy era and after the economic reform, and the standard of national defense expenditures is supposed to be defined by that of the previous year's level.

Despite a large growth in domestic and international migration and remittances in recent decades, there are limited works that systematically identify and establish interactions between internal and international migration. Using primary data from new urban areas of Nepal, we identify households that had migrated from rural to urban areas, explore their migration practices and educational investment behaviors, and analyze the effects of international migration and remittances on investment in education. The results show that, despite their lower income and consumption, migrant households that have members abroad have higher human capital investment measured by the level and budget share of expenditure on children’s education and the time their children spend for studying at home than do urban-native and other types of migrant households. Our findings suggest that searching for better education is one important motivation for migrating to urban areas among rural households having members abroad.

2012 年以降、欧米を中心として大規模オンライン公講座 (MOOC) が急速に拡大し、世界的な潮流となっている。この流れに対応すべく、昨年 11 月に一般社団法人日本オープンオンライン教育推進協議会 (JMOOC) が発足した。JMOOC での本格的なオンライン講義開講は本年 4 月からである。現在、開講に向け準備をすすめているところであるが、ここでは世界的な MOOC の状況と合わせ、JMOOC で想定する日本発の MOOC についての狙い、展望とあわせ技術的、制度的課題などについて述べる。

戦後に行なわれた多くの種類の固体発光デバイスの研究開発の進歩,消長と,工業としての発展を回顧する.現在,工業的に確立されたと思われるものは1960年ごろから研究開発の始まったIII-V族化合物結晶を用いた緑色から赤色の発光ダイオードであり,半導体レーザーなど実用的性能に達しながらもなお研究開発の途上にあるものも多い.これらの歴史から,新しく発光デバイスとして発展するために必要と思われる材料の選択の重要性をはじめ,いくつかの条件を述べる.

神経障害痛に対する各治療ガイドラインで第一選択薬であるプレガバリンの通常初回投与量は150 mg/日とされる.主な副作用に浮動性めまい,傾眠,浮腫および体重増加などがあり,強く発現した場合はその投与の継続を中止せざるを得ない場合も少なくはない.今回,他施設にて150 mg/日の投与が開始されたが,副作用のために投与が中止された4症例に対して,当科ペインクリニック外来において再度75 mg/日から開始して,その後に重篤な副作用は発現せずに継続および増量投与が可能となった症例を経験したので報告する.特に副作用が生じやすい高齢者などでは,初回は少量投与で開始し,徐々に増量する方法が推奨される.

礼服・軍服などの男子服意匠の導入に関わる幕末から明治維新期にかけての日仏間の交流の経緯と実態の一端を明らかにした。①明治天皇の御正服の意匠とAICP校に現存する絵型の比較検証から、礼服などの男子服意匠の導入がフランス支援による事が判った。②訪仏した日本人との交流が深かった洋裁店「オゥギャラリードパリ(S・ブーシェ)」は、男子服の発祥経路の一つとして指摘できた。③ナポレオン3世から徳川慶喜に贈呈された軍服、軍帽等の軍装品に関して、仏軍が定める詳細な仕様書などの資料が得られた。④The Tailor’s guideの技法は『西洋縫裁(裁縫)教授書』を介して伝えられたことが判った。

記録史料として長期的に保存すべき記録を特定するプロセスである「評価選別」をめぐる従来の議論は、記録の生涯を現用、半現用、非現用の3段階に区分する「ライフサイクル」論にその基礎を置いていた。だが近年、電子記録の普及を契機として、記録と記録史料とを区別せずに統一的な実体としてとらえる「記録連続体」論が、ライフサイクルに代わる理論モデルとしてオーストラリアを中心に台頭しつつある。筆者はまず、この理論が登場し発展してきた過程を分析する。特に、同理論の主唱者として重要なアサートンとアップワードの議論を詳しく紹介する。さらに評価選別における記録連続体理論の適用例として、主に機能分析のプロセスに着目しつつ、オーストラリア国立公文書館における事例を検討する。

Abstract:Instead of having the students only memorize and use the usual method of dividing fractions by reversingthe fraction (turning the fractions upside down), the teacher should take advantage of what the students have alreadylearned. The teacher should encourage the students to use what they have learned to think of different ideas andmethods while they discover and gain an understanding about how to divide fractions. Allowing students to learnfrom each other will not only help raise the students' awareness but also their way of thinking about how to do thecalculations to divide fractions. This method of using what they have already learned as well as learning from otherstudents' ideas and methods will also give the students a sense of fulfillment through their active participation
