本稿の目的は、中学校教員の多忙感と子どもに対する理解との関連について、教員を対象とした調査データをもとに検討することである。近年、教員の多忙が社会的に問題視されるようになっており、政策的にもさまざまな対応策が提言されている。一方で、教師研究でも多忙問題は活発に取り上げられ、多忙の背景要因が検討されている。確かに、教員の多忙をもたらす要因にアプローチすることは重要である。しかしながら、多忙「を」招く要因に関心が集中する一方で、多忙「が」招く問題について実証的に検討した研究は必ずしも多くない。こうした認識から、本稿では教員の多忙感が教育活動にもたらす影響についての検討を試みる。具体的には、多忙感が子どもに対する理解(「子ども理解」)への不安にいかに影響するかについて検証する。また、分析に際しては、年齢を分析視点として取り上げる。教員のバーンアウトの研究の文脈では、年齢が重要な要素として取り上げられており、本稿で扱う多忙感と「子ども理解」への不安においても年齢による違いが観察されると想定するためである。分析の結果、教員の多忙感は「子ども理解」への不安を増長させる可能性があると解釈できる。しかも、そうした傾向は、30 代以降で顕著となる。こうした結果に基づき、教員の多忙「が」教育活動にどのような影響をもたらすのかを考察する。

A female Atypus karschii (25 mm long including chelicerae) was collected on the street in front of the Faculty of Education, Nagasaki University on July 16, 2019. From the chelicerae of it secreted colorless liquid that appeared to be a venom. Pyrolysis-GC/MS measurement revealed that the secreted liquid contained some components such as aliphatic and aromatic compounds. In addition, a burrow of Calommata signata (Araneae: Atypidae; Near Threatened) was also found nearby.

In the present study, I reported that the female adult crab spider Thomisus labefactus preyed on a female adult of the wasp spider Argiope bruennichi in the centre of the web. To my knowledge, the case that a large orb-weaving spider A. bruennichi is fed upon by the crab spiders with web-invading is not known previously. It has been shown that T. labefactus, considered commonly as a sit-and-wait predator, also aggressively hunt A. bruennichi, the large web-building spider, attacking its prey at the centre of web.

I report herein that the cases of fly, stilt bug, and ant in web of two spiders, long-jawed orbweaver Leucauge blanda (Araneae: Tetragnathidae) and trashline orbweaver Cyclosa sp. (Araneae: Araneidae). Insects those were supposed to be Sepsis monostigma (Diptera: Sepsidae) were captured in the web of L. blanda. On another web of L. blanda, an insect that was supposed to be Yemma exilis (Heteroptera: Berytidae) stayed. An ant supposed to be Paratrechina longicornis (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) was found in a detritus stabilimentum of Cyclosa sp.

This paper traces the historical development of elephant conservation in Thailand through the exploration of two interrelated state organizations: the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC) and the National Elephant Institute (NEI). By examining their ideological construction, policies and interactions with society, as well as their conflicts with other elephant-related communities, this paper argues that despite all the state’s attempts to take the lead in tackling elephantine problems, these organizations continuously faced the dilemma of elephant conservation during their development. Firstly, TECC struggled to sustain organizational survival while simultaneously concretizing their activities for internationally acclaimed elephant conservation in the 1990s. Secondly, NEI experienced difficulty in balancing its expected roles after 2002 in protecting elephants in collaboration with local communities, as well as functioning internationally as a lynchpin of the nation for elephant conservation.

目的:本研究の目的はリハビリテーションを行う精神疾患患者の事例から,どのような状況でエンパワーメントとディスエンパワーメントが起こるのかを明らかにすることである。研究方法:総合病院の精神科外来でSSTを行っている,統合失調病型障害の患者,男性,28歳であった。データ収集について面接法,観察法の他に,診療録を資料として用いた。分析方法には生活史法を援用し,事例研究を行った。結果:ディスエンパワーメントが起こった局面では,それに関わる状況として〔病気の苦しみ〕〔生活の困難さ〕〔病気の認めがたさ〕〔孤立した状況〕が見出された。エンパワーメントが起こった局面では,それに関わる状況として〔看護師とのつながり〕〔病気の苦しみ〕〔病気の認めがたさ〕〔家族との絆〕〔目標の設定〕〔SSTへの参加〕〔SSTメンバーとの対話〕〔問題の意識化〕〔情報の選択〕〔行動の拡大〕〔対処能力の向上〕が見いだされた。
