We need to develop the participant community design that is individual and autonomous with the living values of residents. By the way there are 43 parodied states which are called the "Minidokuritukoku" in Hokkaido (1992). The parodied states have the freedom, enjoyable and autonomous spirits. We evaluate activity of these states from the view point of the current community design, We show that residents who participate in the activities have open mind, and grow up to community planner step by step. The communities and regional culture are rising, and so on.

一般廃棄物処理施設における労働災害の発生状況を, 日本廃棄物処理施設技術管理者協議会が継続的に実施しているアンケート結果に基づいて解析した。廃棄物処理工程での労働災害発生率は全産業平均の7倍以上であり, 安全化の推進は緊急の課題である。廃棄物処理施設別に事故の起因となった設備機器, 作業, 発生原因を, 事故の種類や負傷者の重篤度により分類し, 非定常作業での安全上の問題点, 施設や設備機器ごとの潜在危険性を整理した。また, 労災事故多発の背景にある組織要因や管理運営要因などを明らかにするため, 廃棄物の取り扱いでの典型的な死亡事例について, 根本原因分析を行った。その結果, 廃棄物処理工程では安全の基礎である管理者, 作業者の安全意識の不足が, 事故の根本的な要因であることなどが明らかになった。また, 一般廃棄物処理での労働安全活動が産業廃棄物処理業に比べて, 低調であるなどの問題点も示唆された。

症例は28歳男性.生来健康.突然死の家族歴あり, 残業が続いていた週の朝, 起床後に突然倒れ意識消失となる.救急隊が到着した時の心電図で心室細動が記録されたため, 直ちに電気的除細動が行われ, 当院に搬送された.12誘導心電図では下壁・左側壁誘導でJ波がみられ, そのJ波は日内・日差変動を示した.心拍変動解析では迷走神経活動が夜間~早朝で著しく亢進していた.冠攣縮性狭心症を除外するため, 右冠動脈にアセチルコリンを少量負荷したところ, ST-T変化を伴うことなく突然に房室ブロツクが誘発され, その直後に心室細動が発症した.電気的除細動が頻回に行われたが, 心室細動は停止と再発を繰り返し, 35分後にようやく洞調律を維持した.その10日後に除細動器の植込み術を予定したが, その当日の早朝に再び心室細動が頻発し, 約3時間の心肺蘇生と電気的除細動に反応することなく院内突然死に至った.剖検では心臓に器質的異常は認められなかった, 下壁・左側壁誘導で記録されたJ波と迷走神経活動の亢進が, 心室細動の発現に関与した異型Brugada症候群症例と考えられた.

The purpose of this study is to investigate low cycle fatigue (LCF) and high cycle fatigue (HCF) strengths, crack initiation and growth behaviors of Ni based castalloy 246. LCF and HCF tests are conducted under load controlled conditions. As the result of the observation of etched specimen, the grain size is from 3 mm to 5 mm. And the microstructure is mainly composed of dendritic structure. Growth orientation of dendritic structure varies in every grain. The result of elemental analysis, Si and Ti are detected at dendritic boundary. The results of LCF test show that small cracks initiate at the first cycle, followed by the crack growth along slip direction. Observation of fracture surface reveals that small cracks originate at casting defect or dendritic boundary. The results of HCF, on the other hand, show that small cracks initiate from subsurface casting defect under Δσ ≦ 600 MPa, while fracture origin becomes surface under Δσ > 600 MPa. The result of HCF test after introducing small crack on the surface shows that small crack on the surface does not affect on the fatigue life and the location of crack initiation. As the result of EBSD, the crack initiation site is near grain boundary and the crack grows along slip plane.

The spatial distribution around hydrothermal vents, population structure, and relative growth parameters of the galatheid crab Shinkaia crosnieri were examined. Surveys were done by the Shinkai 2000 on the Hatoma and Dai-yon Yonaguni Knolls in the southern Okinawa Trough. On the Hatoma Knoll, S. crosnieri inhabited areas (temp. 4.0-6.2°C) about 0.2-2 m away from the active vent (temp. 301°C). In the outer area of the habitat of S. crosnieri (temp. 3.0-3.7°C), dense beds of Bathymodiolus mussels occurred and aggregations of Alvinocaris shrimp were observed. In this survey, 248 specimens of S. crosnieri were collected. Small, probably just post-metamorphic juveniles and large, mature adults co-occurred. Chelipeds of males were proportionally larger than those of females, while abdomens of females were proportionally larger than those of males. Larger chelipeds in males are thought to have evolved through male-male competition for females, and wider abdomens in females are thought to be related to the attachment of fertilized eggs to the abdominal appendages.

力学系学習木を用いた小型船舶の外乱推定法を提案する.小型船舶を海上の任意の地点に自律的に留めるためには,波などの外乱の影響を考慮した制御が必要となる.提案法では,実際の船舶の挙動を力学系学習木に学習させ,船舶の挙動を推定することで小型船舶への外乱を求める.小型船舶の実機データに対し提案法を適用した結果,外乱推定が可能であることが分かった.

One part of the research investigates the epidemiological aspect, and the other the sociological aspect. As a result of this research, we would like to find out what is or are the critical conditions for building "pet-friendly communities"Recently, as smaller dogs have increased in popularity, the tendency for dogs to be kept indoors has also increased, thus leading to closer contact between pets and their owners. As a result, diseases exchanged between dogs and their owners have been more frequently observed.While the spread of dental caries (tooth decay) between dogs and owners does not occur, it is possible that periodontal diseases (gum diseases) could be spread between them. Our study focuses on the bacteria "Campylobacter rectus", a cause of periodontal disease, and aims to identify this bacteria in dogs and their owners by conducting a DNA level analysis.

The most consistent change of neurotransmitter in the brain of Alzheimer's patients is the dramatic decrease of cholinergic innervation due to the loss of neurons in the basal forebrain. The most widely studied acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEIs) have been physostigmine and tacrine. Physostigmine has very short duration, and tacrine has liability to hepatotoxicity. These are the defects of the inhibitors. Our objective was to find a new type of AChEIs that would overcome the disadvantages of physostigmine and tacrine. Through a random screening, we incidentally found an N-benzylpiperazine derivative which showed positive cholinergic behavior in rats. We replaced the N-benzylpiperazine moiety with N-benzylpiperidine moiety and found a dramatic increase in anti-AChE activity. Even after the replacement of an amide group with a ketone group the activity was held. Furthermore, the cyclic-amide derivative showed enhanced inhibitory activity. On the basis of these results, an indanone derivative was designed. Among these indanone derivatives, donepazil hydrochloride (E2020), brand name ARICEPT was found to be the most balanced compound. The clinical studies of donepezil hydrochloride demonstrated statistically significant effects on ADAS-cog (Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale cognitive sub.) and CIBIC Plus (Clinician's Interview-Based Impression of Change plus).
