Aerosol infection issues by COVID-19 were discussed from the viewpoint of particle technology, and the following conclusions were obtained: 1) Number of virus contained in a 10 μm droplet is very few, only 1 virus per 2000 droplets, whereas 0.5 virus in a 100 μm droplet, if 106 copies/mL of viral load in saliva is assumed. 2) Droplets larger than 100 μm can quickly settle down by gravity. 3) The possibility of aerosol infection is very low unless in unusual environments. 4) Mask is very effective, but the leakage from the space between mask and face has risk in heavy exhalation.

Experiments on the effects of thermally cracked components of n-dodecane on the ignition and the combustion performance of a scram jet model combustor at Mach 2 were performed. Gaseous components of the thermally cracked n-dodecane at various temperature and 1MPa were measured by a gas chromatograph. Surrogate mixtures including hydrogen, methane, ethane and ethylene were injected into the supersonic air stream in the model combustor, and ignition and combustion behaviors were investigated at total temperatures of 1800 to 2400K. Pressure measurements on the combustor wall and optical observations of combustion using a high speed video camera were conducted. Results indicated that three combustion modes of intensive, transient and weak combustions were observed. Ignition was observed in the boundary layer positioned at the downstream of the cavity, and the flame propagated upward to the cavity. The ignition performance of ethylene was superior to methane and ethane, and their performances were elucidated from the reactivities predicted by a 0-dimensional calculation of chemical reactions for stoichiometric mixtures. An increase in the methane concentration reduced the ignition performance, and an increase in ethylene enhanced the ignition and combustion.

2007年8月より2009年7月までの2年間に, 東邦大学医療センター佐倉病院耳鼻咽喉科において良性発作性頭位めまい症と診断した1,145名を対象とし, われわれが考案した運動療法で治療を行った. われわれの方法は患側が特定できなくても整形外科疾患など頸椎・脊椎に問題のある症例でも, 患者が自宅で自分のペースで治療を行えるという特徴を有している. その結果1カ月以内に80.7%, そして3カ月以内では91.7%のめまい消失をみた. その中でも発症より1週間以内に受診した症例では2週間以内に80%の症例がめまいの消失をみている. めまい発症より受診時期が遅くなるにしたがって治癒期間も長くなる傾向があった.

出血発症の椎骨動脈解離(vertebral artery dissection: VAD)において,前脊髄動脈(anterior spinal artery: ASA)が解離側VA から2 本分岐しY 字型にfusion している症例を経験したので報告する.症例は43 歳男性.くも膜下出血(subarachnoid hemorrhage: SAH)で発症した破裂VAD で,解離部から1本,解離部より末梢の正常部位から1 本ASA が分岐し,fusion 後に下行していた.マイクロカテーテルを3 本使用しASA を温存しVAD のinternal trapping を行った.片側VA から2 本のASA が分岐しfusion するタイプの血管走行は今まで報告がなく本症例が初めてである.ASA の起始部にはvariationがあり,VA union 近くの塞栓術では脳幹への穿通枝とともにASA 分岐の詳細な観察が必要である.

本論文では,快音・不快音の特徴を解明するため,パワースペクトルに着目し9種類の自然音について解析を行った。解析は,始めに各対象音を一定のフレーム長で切り出してパワースペクトルを算出した。次に求めたパワースペクトルについて1次と2次の関数による近似を行い,近似関数の係数をパラメータとした。各音のパラメータを比較した結果,パワースペクトルの4kHz〜20kHzの帯域を2次関数での近似を行うと,快音は2次の係数が負,負快音は正になる。またパワースペクトルがピークに達してからの減衰の傾斜が,快音は緩やかな傾斜から10kHzを越えて急峻な傾斜となる。これに対し不快音は快音の急峻な傾斜に比べ緩やかな傾斜で減衰し高域にホワイトノイズ的成分を持つことが分かった。

The purpose of this paper is clarify the scale and feature of Zuisenji temple in the medieval ages. A summary will be given as foUows : 1. Zuisenji temple which Muso Soseki established was a small-scale life space centering on hojo. This life space is similar with the environment where it is located in the back part of Gosan of south Sung or Kamakura of the same age. 2. If based that kyochi of zen sect temple concentrated in the circumference of hojo in future.'Zuisenji temple is positioned as a forerunner of the environment which suited composing gatha. 3. When Gido Shushin became "juji", the scale of Zuisenji temple was expanded aiming at "jissatu" for expansion of denomination. Consequently, the scale near the so-called composition of "sichido garan" was realized. 4. Each descent of the scale and social background of Zuisenji temple corresponded mostly.

断面曲線から粗さ曲線を抽出するためのガウシアンフィルタ(GF)は,例外値の影響を強く受ける.このためロバストなGFが提案されているが,繰り返し計算を伴うため計算コストが大きい.本研究では,高速M推定を用いたロバストなGFを提案する.矩形の平滑化フィルタを数回繰り返すだけで計算できるので,高速計算が可能である.しかも,例外値のない場合には従来のGFに一致するという優れた性質を併せもつ.
