In recent years, the diversification of entrance examinations is in progress in each university. Not the ability of person is limited to academic achievement, various abilities should be recognized. Students receive various stimuli from many students with different cultures on campus. The atmosphere of each university will be more and more rich. But entrance examinations without writing result lower academic achievement of students. They are the serious problem and the quality of guarantee by each university is strongly required. Leading universities are no exception. This effect has appeared in the recruitment of many companies. This means that universities can't guarantee the quality of students. I analyze by game theory what is happening in the recruitment of leading companies in this paper.

This research explicates the historical process by which the legal frame of American higher education was formulated between 1783 and 1819, that is from the Revolution to the Dartmouth Case. Chapter One reviews the legal framework of American colonial colleges before the Revolution. Chapter Two analyses the changing relationship of colleges and communities under the U.S. Constitution. Chapter Three focuses the legal points argued in the Dartmouth Case , both in 1817 and 1819. Chapter Four points out the impact of the Dartmouth Case on the American higher education.

The broadcast media have generally been regarded to have the great influence on the enormous audience. Accordingly politicians would like to regulate them and create the political climate convenient for themselves. As a matter of fact you could find a lot of examples of political pressure on the broadcast media when you would examine the history of broadcasting. The typical one is the censorship, but politicians have found the indirect way of control of journalistic activity of broadcast media. The structure of the British broadcasting has consisted of both the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) which has been financed by the licence fee, and the Independent Television which has been constituted by the various companies financed by the advertising. Politicians have often applied pressure on the BBC by taking some programmes off the air, criticising the BBC in the parliament speech, appointing governors who is critical of what the BBC does and so on. I think that the ways of control over the BBC have been developed mainly during the Thatcher era. In this essay I would like to consider the arrangement of the government control over the BBC, the transformation of the way of control under the Thatcher government and its effect on the management of the BBC in 1990s.

記念撮影で自然な表情を撮影するのは難しい.本研究では被撮影者に自然な笑顔の表出を促すカメラを検討している.本稿では笑い声が笑顔や笑いを誘発する現象に着目し,シャッターを切る前に笑い声を再生することで自然な笑顔を撮影するカメラシステムを提案する.効果を検証するために,シャッター音・笑い声(青年)・笑い声(幼児)の3条件で表情の変化を比較した.さらに笑い声呈示から表情表出までの時間差に着目しシャッターを切るタイミングを検討した.

テーブルゲームの一種である麻雀は広く普及している.しかし,麻雀は他のテーブルゲームと比べて大変難しいゲームであり,初心者のプレーヤーが基本のルールを覚えてもすぐにはプレイできず,手牌の中から次にどの牌を捨てたら良いかの判断がつかない事が多々ある.本研究ではこのような問題を解決するため,麻雀牌の画像認識と拡張現実技術を応用した麻雀初心者支援システムを構築した.本システムでは,スマートフォンを用いて麻雀初心者が自分の手牌画像を撮影することで,システムが適切な捨牌候補をリアルタイムに検出し,手牌画像上に捨牌の情報を可視化し,初心者のプレイを支援することが可能である.

本報告では, 浮動小数点数を用いて, 高速な演算が可能な精度保証ライプラリを提案する. 浮動小数点演算の際に起こる丸め誤差は, 丸め方向を強制的に変更できる. これを利用すると, 区間の上限と下限に浮動小数点数を使っても, 四則演算結果の真の値を含む区間演算を行なうことができる. この区間演算をもとにした精度保証ライプラリを, C++言語によって作成した. 精度保証付き数値計算では様々なタイプのデータ型間の演算が行なわれるので, C++言語の演算子多重定義の機能を有効に利用して, プログラム開発が極めて容易になるように工夫している.

C'e una controversia tra gli storici sul significato e il carattere dell'umanesimo del Rinascimento italiano. P.O. Kristeller, per esempio, dice che gli umanisti erano gli eredi e successori professionali dei retori medievali e mette in riievo il nesso tra il Medioevo e il Rinascimento. Poi H.H. Gray, come lui. non nega che l' umanesimo fosse connesso con la tradizione retorica, ma indica che gli umanisti volevano essere ammessi come oratori prima di tutto e stimavano la retorica, la vera eloquenza in quanto questa poteva dare la virtu e il fine prezioso della vita a tutti gli gli uomini. Di recente W.Ullmann ha suggerito il termine umanesimo politico che assomiglia all'umanesimo civile di H.Baron ma e basato sul pensiero aristotelico e tomistico, e dimostra che, nlla sua genesi, il Rinascimento ebbe motivazioni politiche e risenti di condizionamenti socidli. Inoltre nota il processo verificatosi nella seconda meta del secolo XV. cioe la popolalita della visione platonica rappresentata nell' Accademia di Firenze da Marsilio Ficino con la sua THEOLOGIA PLATONICA, con un corrispondente declino dell' influenza aristotelica. Secondo la sua opinionel' umanesimo non e mai un movimento culturale ma politico. Ho considerato specialmente le interpretazioni dei questi tre studiosi odierni e voluto intendere l' umanesimo che e il termine indispensabile per riconoscere i cambiamenti notevoli avvenuti col Rinascimento.

本研究では、ボッシュのアジア3 国 (日本・韓国・インド) 拠点に対するインタビュー調査に基づいて、ボッシュの海外事業展開の実態を明らかにする。ボッシュでは、本国本社主導によるグローバルな社内標準化と海外子会社の育成によって、本国本社に集中していたグローバルR&D 機能およびマザー・プラント機能の一部を海外子会社が担うようになっている。

『自動車技術情報として特許を探る』を主題として,自動車技術を取り巻く環境からその活用の実態を論じた。活用の実態は,(1)技術探索,特許から技術を学ぶ,(2)競合他社分析:特許情報を基にした開発動向のベンチマークから自社の研究・開発戦略策定,(3)新技術の市場投入時のリスク分析,(4)情報ネットワークとの連携と標準化。以上4つの各観点で,特許という技術情報の価値と活用シーンを解説した。
