Azuchi castle was constructed by Oda Nobunaga in 1579. There were many buildings in the castle, such as Tenshu (castle main tower), towers, gates and palaces. However, the plans of these buildings are not known. This paper examines the Honmaru palace in Azuchi castle. This castle became the standard form of the early modern castles. Therefore it is important to study the Honmaru palace in order to elucidate some unclear points on the residences in those days. As a result of excavation in the Honmaru area, a lot of foundation stones were detected. Izumi Fujimura as an archaeologist studied on these stones and made a diagram of the restored buildings of the Honmaru palace which is very similar to Seiryo-den (one of the buildings of the Japanese emperor's palace). In contrast, I review these stones and traces withdrawn the stones and point out that the Fujimura's proposal is quite different from the correct arrangement of these stones and traces. In his proposal, a lot of posts stand on the spot without stones and a lot of large stones which should have been used for the foundation are disregarded. For this reason, his proposal may not be correct at all. In the original Honmaru palace, there were two large buildings which formed a line to the east and west across the inner court and a corridor which connected the two buildings. In the south side of the west building there were three rooms: one was a 2 spans east-west by 3 spans north-south room of the size, the other were 2 spans east-west by 2 spans north-south rooms. Besides, a veranda (4 spans east-west by 1 span north-south) was placed in front of the two rooms, and these rooms and the veranda were enclosed by another 1 span wide veranda. The plan of the Honmaru palace was similar to tsune-no-gosho of Higashiyama-dono (Shogun Yoshimasa Ashikaga's palace). According to “Shincho-ko-ki” (the biography of Nobunaga Oda written by Gyuichi Ota) we can know several names of palaces and buildings such as Zashiki and Miyukino-mima (emperor's guest room), Nan-den (south palace) and Kounji-goten (Kounji temple palace). Masafumi Kato examined “Shincho-ko-ki” and pointed out that Miyukino-mima was in Ninomaru, Nan-den was in Honmaru and Kounji-goten was in Sannomaru. If these palaces and buildings may be defined those of in Shogun's palace, Zashiki and Miyukino-mima were taimensho (a building for meeting of official ceremony), Nanden was tsune-no-gosho (a building for living) and Kounji-goten was kaisho (a building for private meeting and entertainment).

目的:訪問看護師のICTを用いた遠隔からの医師の死亡診断を補助することへの自信感や不安と遠隔死亡診断に用いる看護技術の自信等の関連を明らかにし,遠隔死亡診断が普及するための課題を検討する.方法:全国1785カ所の訪問看護ステーションの看護師に無記名自記式質問紙調査を実施した.単純集計後,死亡診断に関する認識と看取り体制,看護技術の自信等との関連をみた.結果:325名を有効回答(18.2%)とした.死亡診断に関する認識として,遠隔死亡診断をできないと思う者は176名(54.2%)であり,理由は「家族が納得しない」が最も多かった.死亡診断に関する認識は,身体観察項目に対する自信,死亡診断等GLや医師法21条の認知等と関連した.結論:訪問看護師が遠隔死亡診断をできると認識するには,死亡診断関連の情報を得ることや身体観察技術の向上が重要と示唆された.

現在、世界中で猛威を振るっている新型コロナウイルス(SARS-CoV-2)は、エアロゾルによる感染のリスクがあるためP3施設にて細心の注意をもって取り扱う必要があり、その研究には多くの制約と危険を伴う。SARS-CoV-2の研究を P2施設で安全に行うことが出来る実験系を樹立することで抗ウイルス薬、ワクチン開発をより多くの研究施設で進めることが可能になる。本研究は、これまで応募者らが独自に開発、使用してきたアルファウイルス遺伝子発現ベクターをプラットフォームとし、SARS-CoV-2シュードウイルスベクターや、ウイルス様粒子(VLP)発現ベクター等を作製しP2施設で使用可能な実験系を構築する。

Sport coaches develop their coaching knowledge and identity as coaches through their life experiences over time. However, limited knowledge exists for what motivates youth coaches in Asia to coach, how they learn their craft, and how they develop as coaches. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the developmental pathways of youth sport coaches in Singapore. Eleven youth sport coaches in Singapore (10 males, 1 female) from a range of sports were selected to take part in semi-structured interviews consisting of three sections: coaches' profile, valued learning experience, and motivation. Qualitative thematic analysis was implemented to understand the key aspects of coach development in their coaching careers. Data yielded six main categories about valued learning experiences: (1) interaction with other coaches, (2) learning from overseas practice, (3) athletic experience, (4) on-the-job experience, (5) mentoring, and (6) coach education program. Two main categories about coach motivation were identified. These were: (1) initial motivation to be a coach—sense of purpose and (2) motivation to continue coaching—enjoyment, satisfaction, and passion.

Calcium (Ca) deficiency affects the yields and quality of agricultural products. Susceptibility to Ca deficiency varies among crops and cultivars; however, its genetic basis remains largely unknown. Genes required for low Ca tolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana have been identified. In this study, we identified a novel gene required for low Ca tolerance in A. thaliana. We isolated a mutant sensitive to low Ca concentrations and identified Glucan synthase-like (GSL) 8 as a gene responsible for low Ca tolerance. GSL8 is a paralog of the previously identified low Ca tolerance gene GSL10, which encodes β-1,3 glucan(callose) synthase. Under low Ca conditions, the shoot growth of gsl8 mutants were inhibited compared to wild-type plants. A grafting experiment indicated that the shoot, but not root, genotype was important for the shoot growth phenotype. The ectopic accumulation of callose under low Ca conditions was reduced in gsl8 mutants. We further investigated the interaction between GSL8 and GSL10 by testing the gsl8 gsl10 double mutant for sensitivity to low Ca concentrations. The double mutant exhibited a more severe phenotype than the single mutant under 0.3 mM Ca, indicating additive effects of GSL8 and GSL10 with respect to low Ca tolerance. These results establish that GSL genes are required for low Ca tolerance in A. thaliana.

本研究は,大学女子テニス選手1 名を対象に,サービスのパフォーマンス向上を目的とした取り組みとその効果を事例的に検討したものである.対象とした女子選手は,比較的身長が高く,サービスを自身の武器として認識しており,そのパフォーマンスをさらに向上しようとする意欲を持っていた.指導者は対象とした選手のサービスの能力について高く評価しており,そのパフォーマンスをより良くすることを目指した.サービスのパフォーマンスを向上するための主な取り組みとして,技術面の具体的目標は1st サービスのスピードを上げることと,2nd サービスの回転数を増やすことを目指すものであった.およそ5 ヶ月間の取り組みの中では,スイングスピードを向上することや,回転数を増やすためにスイングの方向やラケットとボールの当て方を修正することなどを試みた.取り組みの前後で,対象選手の1st サービスのスピードは速く,2nd サービスのスピードは遅くなっていた.2nd サービスの回転数は大きくなる傾向にあった.また打点の高さが有意に低くなっており,1st サービスのスピードの向上に貢献していると考えられた.2nd サービスの回転数の増加には技術的課題の克服が貢献していると考えられた.

うつ病とアパシーの鑑別は, 予後や治療の観点から重要である。脳卒中や外傷性脳損傷などの後天性脳損傷や変性疾患に伴ううつ病やアパシーは, いずれも予後に大きなマイナスの影響を与え, 治療法も異なる。鑑別の重要なポイントは, うつ病では気分の落ち込みやネガティブな思考パタンとなるが, アパシーでは気分や思考パタンはネガティブではなく中立的である。脳イメージング研究からは, うつ病では前頭葉腹内側部を中心として機能が亢進している部位を認めることがあるが, アパシーでは機能が亢進している部位を認めない。後天性脳損傷者に伴ううつ病の治療においては薬物療法や心理療法や社会的介入のみならず, 個々の症例に合わせたリハビリテーションの方針によって達成可能な目標をもたせていくことで病態が改善することがある。アパシーの場合も同様に, 個々の症例に合わせた達成可能な目標をもたせることで多少なりとも改善につながることがありうる。

Deep neural networks (DNNs) provide excellent services in machine learning tasks such as image recognition, speech recognition, pattern recognition, and intrusion detection. However, an adversarial example created by adding a little noise to the original data can result in misclassification by the DNN and the human eye cannot tell the difference from the original data. For example, if an attacker creates a modified right-turn traffic sign that is incorrectly categorized by a DNN, an autonomous vehicle with the DNN will incorrectly classify the modified right-turn traffic sign as a U-Turn sign, while a human will correctly classify that changed sign as right turn sign. Such an adversarial example is a serious threat to a DNN. Recently, an adversarial example with multiple targets was introduced that causes misclassification by multiple models within each target class using a single modified image. However, it has the weakness that as the number of target models increases, the overall attack success rate decreases. Therefore, if there are multiple models that the attacker wishes to attack, the attacker must control the attack success rate for each model by considering the attack priority for each model. In this paper, we propose a priority adversarial example that considers the attack priority for each model in cases targeting multiple models. The proposed method controls the attack success rate for each model by adjusting the weight of the attack function in the generation process while maintaining minimal distortion. We used MNIST and CIFAR10 as data sets and Tensorflow as machine learning library. Experimental results show that the proposed method can control the attack success rate for each model by considering each model's attack priority while maintaining minimal distortion (average 3.95 and 2.45 with MNIST for targeted and untargeted attacks, respectively, and average 51.95 and 44.45 with CIFAR10 for targeted and untargeted attacks, respectively).
