江戸時代に日本で作られた手品の解説本の中には、手品のみならずまじないの情報が掲載されている。こうした記事は手品史の観点からはあまり注目されないが、奇術と呪術が渾然一体となっていた当時の人々の感覚を知るうえで面白い研究対象といえる。本論では、中国の『神仙戯術』の翻訳からはじまる近世日本の手品本を概観し、その中に記されたまじないを取り上げた。初期の『神仙戯術』や『続神仙戯術』は、手品をはじめ、呪術や生活術などを集めている。もともと中国でも、種や仕掛けを用いて不思議な現象を見せる娯楽としての手品と、まじない等の情報が混在していた。日本の手品観は、中国の手品観の影響を受けていると思われる。また、中国の呪術と似たものが日本の本にも見られるので、文献を通じて中国のまじないが日本人の日常生活の中に浸透していったと考えられる。ただし、まじないの方法には日中で異動がある。外国の呪術は、日本の生活環境にあうよう、改変されて伝えられたのだろう。本来まじないは口頭で秘密裏に伝えられるものだったと考えられるが、江戸時代においては生活上の実用的な知識として本に記されて流布した。奇しくも、まじない本や手品本、占い本等のいわゆる「秘術」を公開する文献は、十七世紀後期に刊行されはじめる。この時期を日本における秘術公開時代の幕開けと考えてみたい。手品本のまじないは、先行の呪術系の書物に類似するものが見られる。専門書の中のまじないの情報が、手品本の中に流入していったものと思う。手品本に記されたまじないには、呪歌を伴うものや、書記行為を伴うものがある。近世日本では、十七世紀から民衆の識字率が向上したが、そうした社会的背景が、手品本の存在や字を書くまじないのあり方と関係している。行為者の能力や資質にあわせて、様々なまじないができるようになっているところに、江戸時代のまじない文化の大衆性を感じる。一部非公開情報あり

The purpose of this study was to investigate the body movements to generate handle velocity in the tangential and the radial direction of hammer head during the hammer throw turn. The positive leading distance of handle has the effect of accelerating the hammer head in hammer throw. In addition, the increase and decrease of the leading distance of handle are consistent with the increase and decrease of handle velocity in the radial direction of hammer head. It will be important to clarify the movement of the body for the acquisition of the leading distance of handle by examining the acquisition of the handle velocity in the radial direction by the body movement. Throwing motions of 44 male throwers (throwing record: 80. 50–44. 17 m) participated in the study as subjects. Throwing motions were videotaped on high-speed VTR cameras, and three-dimensional coordinates were calculated using a DLT method. The handle velocity was calculated as the vector products between the anatomical angular velocity vectors of joint and the respective relative displacement vectors from the joint center to handle, by applying a mathematical model. The handle velocity obtained by body movements were projected onto the rotating plane coordinate system. The basic findings were summarized as follows: (1) The handle velocity in the radial direction can be obtained by trunk long-axis rotation, the trunk left lean, the extension of the shoulder joint, the trunk back lean, and translational movement of the body. (2) The handle velocity in the tangential direction can be obtained by the trunk long-axis rotation, trunk twist, horizontal abduction of left shoulder joint and the flexion of shoulder joint.

1980年代後半以降, 東・東南アジア地域内での労働力移動が顕著になった.この現象は, 経済のグローバル化のなかでアジア経済が全体的に躍進してきたこと, およびアジア域内における国家・地域間の経済格差が拡大してきたことを反映していよう.アジア域内の労働力移動は大量の非合法移民を生み出してきた.非合法移民の発生を「法的規制を無視して入国あるいは就労する人々」が生み出す問題とみることはあまりに一面的である.本稿では, 東・東南アジアにおける非合法移民に焦点を当てた.まず, その状況を俯瞰した上で, 主に移民政策を比較する視点から, 労働力に対する需要と移民政策との乖離, あるいは移民に対する規制強化が非合法移民を生み出す関係を検討した.また, 外国人労働力の後発的な受入国に共通する特徴や論理の抽出に努めた.非合法移民は, 国益の観点から外国人労働者の効率的な利用を図る受入国の政策と, 課せられた厳しい条件のなかでよりよい仕事と生活を求める外国人労働者の抵抗のせめぎあいが生み出す1つの産物である.

An SD (semantic differential) method is an effective way to evaluate subjective impression of an AV (audio visual) content. However, because the SD method is performed after viewers watch an AV content, it is difficult to examine their impression of detailed scenes in the AV content in real time. To measure viewer's impression of an AV content in real time, we have developed a "Taikan sensor" that precisely measures the viewer's grip strength and body temperature. Based the Taikan sensor measurement, we investigated the relationships between the viewers' impression and their grip strength. Factor analysis of the viewers' impression was performed on detailed scenes when the grip strength became strong. Results showed that the viewers' impression influenced their grip strength and the viewer received an "active" impression from the AV content when the grip strength increased. Therefore, the Taikan sensor enables real time measurement of a viewer's "active" impression from an AV content.

「地方自治体の会計は小学生の"こづかい帳"と同じ」。いくつもの地方自治体にアドバイスをしているあるIT(情報技術)コンサルタントは,地方自治体の会計の実態を辛辣に批判する。 地方自治体は,年度ごとの現金の出入りしか見ておらず,決算で歳入と歳出を合わせているだけだ。この"こづかい帳"的会計手法では,資産や負債といったストック情報は管理しない。
