【目的】先天性筋無力症候群 (congenital myasthenic syndrome ; CMS) の特徴を明らかにする.  【方法】CMSと診断した5例の臨床経過, 診察所見, 電気生理学的所見などを後方視的に検討した.  【結果】4例が乳児早期に筋力低下と運動発達遅滞, 1例は3歳時に運動不耐で発症した. 幼児期以降に1日単位で変動または数日間持続する筋力低下を全例で認めたのが特徴的で, 日内変動を示したのは1例のみであった. 反復神経刺激では, 遠位の運動神経では減衰を認めない例があった. 塩酸エドロフォニウム試験では, 眼瞼下垂を示した3例全例で改善を認めなかった. 全例で薬物治療による改善を示した.  【結論】CMSはていねいな診察と電気生理検査により診断可能で薬物治療が行える疾患である.

This case study examines the seat selection at the time of arrival in a small-scale non-territorial office. The questionnaire to the workers reveals that 23% of workers consider that their seat selections affect their business and 67% of workers prefer to change their seats to avoid other worker’s voice. The observation of the seat selection at the office shows that many workers tend to fix their own seats. Even when they miss the seats, they select another seat in the same area (table). Some particular areas are hardly used while the other areas are frequently selected. And the seats at the corner of each area are occupied first. Some workers select the area where the particular worker sit.

本研究では、教師を目指す学生が、懲戒と体罰をどのように区別しているのかについて、テキストマイニングによる自由記述文の分析から検討を行った。教育を専門としない学生との比較を通してその特徴の把線を試みた結巣、教育を専門としない学生が懲戒と体罰との違いを「程度」「理由の有無」あるいは「相手がどう取るか」の問題ととらえる傾向にあるのに対して、教師を目指す学生は「身体に対する侵害」や「肉体的苦痛」を与える行為であるか否かに言及して両者を区別する傾向にあることが示された。他方、両者の区別に関して、教師を目指す学生においても、その認識は一様ではないことも確認された。体罰の禁止及び児章生徒理解に基づく指導の徹底を図る上でも、養成課程の教育において、さらに理解を深める機会を設けることの必要性が示唆された。

陸上植物の育苗培地用資材であるロックウールは自然砂に比較して軽く, 作業性にすぐれている。このため, ロックウールを潜孔・埋在性動物の飼育に利用することを目的にその水質保全効果を確かめた。循環水槽にロックウール・イワムシ・クルマエビを組み合わせて収容し水質の経時的変化を観察したところ, ロックウールを使用した飼育ではアンモニア態窒素濃度が抑えられた。とくに, イワムシとロックウールを組み合わせて飼育した水槽のアンモニア濃度は低かった。また, ロックウールか自然砂を入れたビンに海水と配合飼料を加え黒色還元層の発現状況を観察したところ, ロックウール中の還元層の発達速度は天然砂よりも有意に小さかった。これらのことから, ロックウールには水質保全効果があり天然砂に代わる底質材として有効であると判断した。

The author, working as a midwife, has seen many mysterious phenomena pertaining to natural childbirth. According to Shinto, a native religion in Japan, "Musubi" is a god involved in creating life. This paper presents ten cases of mystical experiences of childbirth the author has witnessed, and examines the power of Musubi in childbirth in view of the Musubi theory of Hirata Atsutane, a Japanese classical and theological scholar in the late Edo period. In all these cases mothers found a relationship between the birth of their children and the death of their family or of their relatives. According to Hirata's ideas of death and reincarnation, the soul of the dead as well as that of the baby to be born are watching his or her family on the earth from their world beyond. This is testified in this paper. Testified also is the existence of strong links among the souls of the dead, of the coming baby and of their family or relatives. Therefore, the author believes that the function of Musubi in childbirth is to link souls, and a new life created through linking of souls is the incarnation of Musubi himself, who links other souls in turn. By recognizing the importance of this soul linking, we come to the understanding that we are able only to live through our relationship with other people. This realization leads us to find the meaning of living.
