症例は75歳, 男性. 1970年僧帽弁狭窄症にて僧帽弁交連切開術施行. 1982年人工弁置換術(Björk-Shiley弁)を施行し, 以後外来通院中. 2003年9月より黄疸が出現し, 10月下旬外来受診. RBC 193万/mm3, Hgb 6.1g/dL, Ht 18.8%, LDH 15,058 U/L, I-Bil 8.38mg/dLにて入院. 溶血性貧血を呈していたが, 諸検査で肝胆道系, 血液疾患は否定した. 心エコー図検査で人工弁周囲より逆流を認め, 人工弁機能不全が貧血の原因と考えた. 11月下旬再度弁置換術を施行. 弁周囲は脆弱で, 後交連近傍の縫合線の3分の1が弁輪部組織と離開しており, この部分の異常血流が赤血球破砕をきたし, 溶血性貧血が生じたと診断した. 人工弁の可動性異常はなかった. 術後貧血は改善を認めた. 人工弁置換による溶血性貧血を認めた症例を経験したので報告する.

私はこの論文で、江戸東京落語の主人公「八五郎・熊五郎」の名の由来や、キャラクターとしての系譜について考察した。「八五郎・熊五郎」の名が落語の人物の名として定着したのは明治後期だった。ではなぜ、それらの名が落語の人物の名に抜擢されたのか。名に使われる語に注目すると、「八」も「熊」も「五郎」も皆神性を帯びているとされる語である。そういった「神霊に近い」ことを示す名が笑話の主人公につけられるのは、日本宗教が笑いと密接な関係にあり、人々が神仏に親しみを感じていたことが大きな理由であろう。又、「八五郎」という名を持つ実在の人物の中には、身分の高い武士もいた。明治期の庶民は、彼らに対する皮肉の意味で、「八五郎」という名の人物の滑稽な言動を笑ったという説もある。何れにせよ、「八つぁん熊さん」は一般的イメージとは裏腹に複雑な背景を持っており、その「成り立ちの複雑さ」は彼らを息の長いキャラクターにした要因であると思う。

「自然な方法」による3つの言語指導法,相互作用アプローチ,伝達場面設定型の指導および環境言語指導に関連する最近の研究を展望し,それらの理論的な背景,技法,効果,今後の方向について検討した.大人との相互作用が子供の言語獲得に及ぼす影響に関する研究に基づく相互作用アプローチは,相互作用を改善し既有の伝達技能の使用を促す効果があるが,それによる新たな言語構造の獲得を示す証拠はない.また高い指示性と低い応答性という仮定の他に指導のモデルを求める必要がある.慣例化された活動が子供の伝達と言語理解を促すという研究結果を基礎としている伝達場面設定型の指導は,標的とされた伝達技能の改善に効果が認められているが,活動の選択や行動連鎖の形成方法について検討する必要がある.応用行動修正技法を基礎とする環境言語指導は,先の2つのアプローチとの交差によって,「自然な方法」による言語指導の発展に寄与することが期待される.

The objective of this paper is to investigate gender equality of participation in decision making in rural communities. A questionnaire survey was conducted to husbands and wives of agricultural organizational members, in A city Tochigi prefecture. The survey items included i) the actual conditions of participation in organizational activity, ii) the experiences of assumption of posts of rural organizations and committees. A binominal logit model is applied to investigate determinant factors of husbands and wives assumption of posts of rural organizations and committees. The dataset for the model consists of 131. The explanatory variables are sales, farm types (rice farms, or horticulture farms), family attribute, age, days of farm-work, off-farm work, and regional characteristics. The dependent variable is experiences of assumption of posts, categorized into 7 groups. As a result of their analysis, there are differences between husbands and wives on participation in decision making in rural communities. Husbands participate in agricultural organizational activities (meeting of productive cooperation, irrigation association, and so on); on the other hand wives participate in women's organizational activities (food processing and sales in agricultural festival). A lot of Male's agricultural committees had been elected from many part-time farm household areas. In case male and female are old, and their partner work off-farm work, male and female had been assumption of posts of agricultural committees. Male's agricultural committee had been elected, even if their days of farm-work are short.

An examination on the reliabilities and validities of a Japanese form of the Test of Self-Conscious Affect-3 (short form) (Tangney and Dearing, 2002) was done using by the responses of 123 university students. Cronbach's α-coefficients of this form were slightly low, especially in Detachment (D) and Externalization (E) scales. Although the score of Prosocial Behavior Scale (PSB: Kikuchi, 1998) highly related to those of Guilt (G) scale of TOSCA-3, and Empathic Concern (EC) and Perspective Taking (PT) scales of Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI: Davis, 1998), significant relationships were not found, as expected, between the score of PSB and those of Shame (S) scale in TOSCA-3 and Personal Distress (PD) scale in IRI.

周知のように日本近代社会における最初の民衆運動は大正デモクラシー期 (1905-1925) にあらわれた。それは1905年9月5日の日露講和条約反対の日比谷焼討事件にはじまる。官庁街の顔として1903年6月に開園した日比谷公園が民衆の政治運動の発露の場として機能したわけである。それ以後, 地方においても護憲運動・米騒動・普選運動等の民衆運動は各地の公園をその舞台として示威運動を展開する。公園という民衆に開かれた空間が運動の拠点となる。1920年5月2日, 上野公園で開催されたわが国最初のメーデーは民衆運動にとって象徴的事件といえる。本論では民衆運動の中で公園が社会的に認知される経緯を明らかにする。
