記録タイマーを用いて,重力加速度の大きさを測定すると,物体の落とし方の上手い下手によってばらつきが出てしまう。それが出ないように簡単な工夫をしてみた。また,運動の法則の検証で加速度は力に比例するけれども,原点を通らないという失敗に困っている。是非解決策をお教え願いたい。

Yamazaki et al. (1997) demonstrated that age-of-acquisition in spoken and written formatshad a stronger effect on the naming latency of single Kanji words than any other variableincluding familiarity, frequency, imageability, and so on. The present research was designedto reanalyzed Yamazaki et al.'s data restricted to single Kanji words learned in the first tosixth year of elementary school, using the ratings of spoken age-of-acquisition and familiaritytaken from Suzuki (2005). This analysis showed that familiarity exerted a stronger independenteffect on naminig latency than age-of-acquisition.

The effect of lipid metabolism, especially catabolism of triglyceride on carbohydrate metabolism, has been studied in rabbits.The results were as follows;1) A high fat diet did not increase the fasting blood sugar but this level was significantly elevated by the addition of orally adminitered Δ' 17α-methyltestosterone.2) The oral administration of lipid or Δ' 17α-methyltesterone increased the urinary excretion of the ketone bodies. The urinary excretion of ketone bodies was higher than when either alone was given. The serum ketone bodies increased after the treatment with Δ' 17α-methyltestosterone but was not affected by high-fat diet.3) Administration of propionic acid resulted in an elevation of the fasting blood glucose and impaired the glucose tolerance. These effects were found more evident in the former than the latter. Lactic acid did not have these effects. Addition of beef tallow made these effects more prominent.4) Oral administration of 17 a-methyltestosterone or short-chain fatty acids (propionate, butyrate and lactate) caused a reduction in liver glycogen.5) Adminirtration of beef tallow increased the lipid deposition of hepatic cells. This finding was also found in the group where Δ' 17α-methyltestosterone was added to the standard diet.6) Fasting for 5 days caused an elevation of blood sugar and an impairment of glucose tolerance. An injection of purified human depot fat made these changes more remarkable.7) On the basis of these observations, a discussion was made whether the acceleration of lipid metabolism might play an important role in diabetogenesis or not.

This study was used to develop a Japanese version of the International Personality Item Pool-Interpersonal Circumplex and examined its reliability and validity. Participants included 625 Japanese university students. They completed the IPIP-IPC-J and one or two other scales: the Japanese version of Ten Item Personality Inventory (Oshio et al., 2012); a short form of the Japanese Big Five Scale (Namikawa et al., 2012); the Japanese Version of Dark Triad Dirty Dozen (Tamura et al., 2015); the Friendship scale (Okada, 1995); or the Assertion Inventory (Murayama et al., 1991). The IPIP-IPC-J was administered again to 65 participants five weeks later to determine test-retest reliability. The results generally supported the reliability and validity of the IPIP-IPC-J.

This report describes how Emperor Meijis costume changed from the end of the Edo Period to the beginning of the Meiji Era. When he lived in Kyoto, he wore a traditional costume called a Kugeshouzoku (nobility dress). However, after he moved to Tokyo, his costume changed drastically, because he was forced to westernize his way of life in all respects. In Kyoto, he showed his authority as Mikado with Three Sacred Treasures beside him. In Tokyo, everything was different. He had to represent his authority, not by those symbols but through his new dress: he had to give dignity and nobility to his military uniforms. Emperor Meijis uniforms were henceforth decorated with epaulets, gold strings, and gorgeous chrysanthemum-pattern embroidery. This is clearly evident in the "Goyoudoroku" receipt lists of purchases by the Imperial Family owned by the Imperial Household Agency.

選抜への寄与と評価の信頼性の観点からAO入試における書類選考データの分析を行った。長崎大学AO 入試では第1次選考として書類選考が行われる。受験生が提出する書類のうち「自己推薦書」に焦点をあてその評価の信頼性と第1次選考での選抜への寄与の程度をそれぞれ確認した。「自己推薦書」の評価の信頼性は概ね高いものであるが,評価の基準が十分に明確でない場合に信頼性が低下する傾向が確認された。共分散比に基づく「自己推薦書」の選抜への寄与の程度は配点比と大きく異なることもあり採点手続等に工夫が必要であることが示唆された。

本研究では, 2000年9月から2001年3月にかけて年内草および再生した春1番草および春2番草における収量および飼料品質の向上を目的として, いもち病に抵抗性をもつ極早生イタリアンライグラスの育成系統山系31号および長崎県奨励品種ミナミアオバと極早生エンバクとの晩夏播きにおける混播栽培を行い, 各草種の単播栽培と比較して, その混播効果を調査した.<BR>イタリアンライグラスの単播栽培では, 山系31号はミナミアオバよりもいもち病罹病程度が低く, いもち病による欠株がみられないため, 茎数密度が高かった.エンバクとの混播栽培では, 山系31号の場合ミナミアオバの場合よりもいもち病による枯死が少ないため, 年内草および春1番草におけるイタリアンライグラスの比率が高く, 年内草の粗タンパク質含有率および<I>in vitro</I>乾物消化率がともに高くなる傾向にあった.さらに, 山系31号とエンバクとの混播では, 山系31号単播よりも年内草の乾物収量, 粗タンパク質収量および<I>in vitro</I>可消化乾物収量がいずれも高かった.<BR>したがって, 山系31号は, 長崎県において普通期トウモロコシ収穫後にあたる9月上旬の晩夏に播種が可能であり, エンバクとの混播栽培によって, 従来の品種に比べ年内草および3回刈合計における乾物収量と栄養収量の改善が認められ, 安定多収の新たな作付け体系の可能性が示唆された.

Separation through ultrasonic atomization has advantages in industrial application over distillation, i.e., low energy consumption, unheated process and quick start of opertion. The first application of ultrasonic atomization was sake refining by utilizing the advantage of no heating, its application is now growing in various industrial processes, for example, ethanol purification, waste water treatment, micro-nanometer ice formation, sugar concentration etc. In addition, carbon dioxide emission by ultrasonic atomization separation is extremely low compared to distillation. The ultrasonic atomization separation will replace many conventional separation processes because of the superior characteristics.<br>
