シカの急増に伴う林床植生の食害により国内で最も絶滅が危惧されるチョウと化したツシマウラボシシジミの保全を目的として,a)保全エリアでの実践的な保護増殖活動,b)保全エリア候補地の探索に関する活動,c)希少種保全と農林業との連携に関する活動,の大きく3つの課題に取り組んだ.保護増殖活動では,環境整備やシカ防護柵の増設により保全エリアの改善を試みた他,現状の環境を把握するためにエリア内の林床植生および日照・温度・湿度を調査した.今後の系統保存と再導入のために越冬・非越冬幼虫を制御する光周性に関する実験も行った結果,1齢幼虫から日長を感知する個体が現れることが判明した.保全エリア候補地の探索では,本種の好む環境を備える椎茸のホダ場30ヶ所を調査し,良好な環境を保持した11ヶ所のホダ場を見出した.保全と農林業との連携では,アンケート調査から多くの地権者や椎茸農家の方々は本種の保全に好意的なことや,本種を育むホダ場で生産された椎茸のブランド化に賛成で,協力可能であることなども明らかとなった.

Objective: Incidents, such as disturbance of consciousness due to adverse reactions of medications during automobile driving, could cause a serious accident.  Although automobile driving is indicated to be “prohibited” in the package inserts of many drugs, no explicit guidelines are available in Japan on specific guidance to patients.  Therefore, we attempted to prepare guidelines for medication guidance regarding automobile driving.Methods: We investigated the number of incidents involving traffic accidents and the disturbance of consciousness cases reported in “Japanese Adverse Drug Event Report” database by “Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA).”  We also analyzed descriptions regarding automobile driving found in package inserts and guidelines to determine a risk level for each medication.Results: Guidelines for medication guidance were prepared based on four-level classification of drugs for which “prohibition” of automobile driving was indicated in their package inserts; these levels are “conform to pertinent guidelines,” “strictly prohibited,” “prohibited,” and “conditionally prohibited.”  The contents of the guidance prepared for some drugs were different from their package inserts.Conclusions: The guidelines prepared in this study can be expected to become a support tool to ensure close attention to cautions regarding automobile driving.  Because some contents of the guidance are different from that described in the package inserts, it is desirable to obtain agreement with physicians in hospitals adopting these guidelines.  In addition, guidelines based on a broader range of information should be prepared in the future.

Objective: When vehicular accidents occur as a result of impaired consciousness etc., because of adverse drug reactions, there is a risk that third parties may be harmed.  Till date, at Nagoya City East Medical Center (hereinafter, our hospital), the warnings about driving motor vehicles while taking drugs has varied depending on the doctor or pharmacist who provides the guidance.  Therefore, throughout our hospital, we aimed to standardize these warnings and to introduce measures to strictly enforce them.Methods: Among all the drugs used at our hospital, we identified those with warnings on the package insert about driving motor vehicles and classified them in accordance with “The Drug Administration Guidance Criteria Regarding the Driving of Vehicles,” created by our hospital on the basis of descriptions on the package insert and the level of risk of taking drugs.  We then standardized the warnings about driving motor vehicles while taking drugs, throughout our hospital.Results: Of the 1,416 drugs used at our hospital, we identified 294 (21%) with warnings about driving motor vehicles on the package insert, and more than half of these (158 drugs) had warnings about the prohibition of driving motor vehicles on the package insert.  As a result of classifying the drugs according to “The Drug Administration Guidance Criteria Regarding the Driving of Vehicles,” we identified 53 drugs with warnings about the prohibition of driving motor vehicles.  By the classification of the level of risk of taking drugs while driving motor vehicles and the hospital-wide standardization of the warnings about driving motor vehicles while taking drugs, we are now able to provide drug administration guidance in the form of warnings that are customized to the level of risk of using each drug.Conclusion: These measures have clarified the level of risk of taking each drug and warnings about driving motor vehicles while taking them.  In the future, we intend to cooperate with local pharmacies to intervene in the prescription of drugs outside well as inside hospitals.

この論文では, 画像を多重解像度表現する直交ウェーブレット変換において, ひそかに署名データを画像に埋め込む一方法を提案する. その原理は, 画像の多重解像度表現における差分出力に偏りがあることに注目し, その特徴を手掛りに署名ビット系列を画像に埋め込むものである. その際, 256×256画素からなる濃淡画像でおおむね6Kバイト程度の文字情報を合成可能である. この方法は画像の著作権を表示する署名データのみならず, 画像の作者や使用条件, あるいは画像そのものの属性情報までも包含でき, 画像データベースの検索などにおいても類似画像の識別を容易にできるなどの応用が考えられる.

Pulmonary complications were studied in 213 patients with leukemia and lymphoma. The incidence of pulmonary lesions was 38.5% and diffuse changes were encountered twice more frequently than localized ones. Etiological diagnosis during life was difficult. In 38 out of 62 cases with diffuse lesions, their etiology was not determined. In 9 out of 28 cases with localized lesions their etiology was not clear. In some of these cases autopsy clarified their etiology.Among localized cases, infection, mainly of bacterial origin and infiltration of underlying diseases were two main etiologies. On the other hand, diffuse lung lesions were of various etiology; 29 infections (bacteria 8, fungus 9, virus 8, p.carinii 2), 11 tumor infiltrations, 11 interstitial pneumonia, 3 vascular origins. In these cases with diffuse lesions of different etiology, clinical findings such as fever, cough, dyspnea, low PO2, high LDH, increased CRP, and hypoalbuminemia were observed, but not helpful in differentiating the etiology. Eight out of 11 cases of interstitial pneumoonia occurred during or after tapering of glucocorticoid.The mortality rate was as high as 54.4% of all lung diseases. Retrospective studies on the chest X-ray pictures showed that diffuse ill-defined opacities or multilocated consolidations were associated with poor prognosis.The diagnostic value of transbronchoscopic lung biopsy and therapeutic implications of empirical glucocorticoid administration for etiologically undiagnosed lung lesions were also discussed.

The side effects of peroral bisphosphonate may cause mucous membrane disorders and oral exulceration if individuals dissolve the drug inside the oral cavity on oral administration. We experienced two cases in which we strongly suspected mucous ulcurs due to this drug. Finally, the oral exulceration disappeared after providing instructions on correct administration. An 83-year-old woman was referred because of exulceration of the right mandible. She suffered from osteoporosis, thoracic vertebra compression fracture, and dementia, while taking alendronate weekly. The exulceration appeared from the right lower lip to the right mandibular molar gingiva when we absorbed pooled saliva in the right oral cavity when the patient was lying down. We instructed the patient to confirm that the tablet was completely swallowed. The ulcers in the oral cavity completely disappeared 17 days after presentation. A 74-year-old woman with osteoporosis presented because of bleeding and pain in the gingiva of the right mandible. She was taking monthly minodronate while wearing incompatible dentures. Exulceration occurred with peripheral redness ranging from the right buccal mucosa to the right molar gingiva of the mandible and the tongue/floor of her mouth, along with a ventrolateral tongue. We taught her how to swallow minodoronate correctly without dentures, and the ulcers healed 4 weeks later.

本研究では,セルフ・ハンディキャッピング(SHC)とハーディネスの特性に注目して,社会人学生を類型化し,その成績・学習時間との関係について検討した.クラスター分析によって分類した結果,学生は「高SHC 型」「時間不足SHC型」「低SHC 型」の3タイプに類型化された.これらの3タイプにおける成績・学習時間の差を検討したところ,「高SHC 型」の成績は,他にくらべ有意に低いことが示された.また,「低SHC 型」は,学習時間が他にくらべ有意に長く,成績は「高SHC 型」よりも有意に高いことが示された.本研究で示された学生の類型を用いることにより,成績や学習時間の傾向を予測できる可能性が示唆された.

本研究では,教員に対して学校図書館を授業で活用するための研修プログラムを開発し,研修の効果を検証した.その結果,研修プログラムにおける学校図書館を活用した課題解決型の授業について,次の3点が明らかとなった.(1)児童生徒の主体的な学びを育み,学び方の習得に繋がる.(2)児童生徒の21世紀型能力の獲得に繋がる.(3)意図的・継続的に実施することが望ましい.これらの結果から,研修を通して学校図書館を授業で活用したことによって,教員の学校図書館活用への意識の変容を促し,一定の効果をもたらすことが示唆された.

彩色文化財の技法と材料について、日本とドイツの美術史研究者、伝統技術者、自然科学者が共同して研究調査を行った。研究期間中は互いの研究者が双方の国を毎年一回ずつ訪問し、あらかじめ選定しておいた現地で詳細な調査を行い、シンポジウムを開催し討議を行うなどして研究をすすめた。研究対象は、ドイツ側では主に南ドイツ(バイエルン地方)の中世彩色木造彫刻を取り上げたが、日本側では彫刻に限らず、絵画、工芸、建造物など広く関心を持って調査を行った。また彩色文化財そのものだけでなく、彩色に用いる顔料の製造工場や、金箔工房など、また各地の修復工房や作業現場でも調査研究を行い、彩色材料やその技法、修復技術への応用などについても相互の理解を深めるようにした。顔料分析については、ドイツにおいてはサンプリングによる試料の分析を積極的に行ったが、わが国の文化財については試料採取が困難なために、現場で試料を採取しないでそのまま顔料分析できるポータブル蛍光X線装置を開発した。この手法は対象作品表面からの測定になるため、彩色層に顔料を混合して用いているのか複数の顔料層か分析結果からだけでは判別できないが、実体顕微鏡を用いた観察と組み合わせることによって、確度の高い情報を得ることができた。本研究を通して、報告書に示すように多くの研究成果をあげることができた。一例としては、源氏物語絵巻物の顔料分析を初めて行い、白色顔料に従来想定されていた鉛を含む白色顔料(おそらく鉛白)だけでなく、カルシウムを含むもの(おそらく胡粉)、軽元素しか含まないもの(おそらく白土)、それにこれまで知られていなかった水銀を含む顔料の4種類を用いていることや、日本の彫刻彩色に緑色顔料として岩緑青以外に、砒素と銅を含むものや軽元素だけの顔料を用いていることを、初めて明らかにしたなどをあげることができる。

この論文では, 感性情報処理のために, 2次元顔画像から人の表情を生成する関数を抽出している. 人間は他人の表情からいかなる情報を得て, 個人の識別や感情の分析をしているかという問題に対して, いまだ解答が得られていない. 顔による個人識別や表情の認識に関する研究では, その特徴をどのような方法で, どのように記述するかが大きなテーマである. その一案として, 薄板スプラインを用いたメタモルフォシスにより, 表情の変化を平面顔画像上で追跡し, その変化を表情関数という形で定量的に抽出する. 更に, この表情関数を用いて, 1枚の無表情の顔画像から人間の代表的な6種類の感情を表す顔画像を生成する. この表情関数は顔を対象としたセキュリティチェックシステムの基礎となる概念である.

栄養失調とサルコペニアを伴う高齢者に対し,運動療法と栄養療法によるマネジメントの必要性が言われている.66歳男性,肺腺癌のため右肺全摘出後,外来通院していた.混合性換気障害と呼吸器症状が進行し,体重減少および身体活動性の低下を認めるようになったが入院を拒否.サルコペニアが疑われ外来で栄養士と看護師が介入し,栄養状態は改善した.しかし自覚症状は改善せず,理学療法士が介入を開始した.4ヶ月間の介入によりAMC(19.9→20.9 cm),MIP(31→68 cmH2O),握力(20→22 kg),CAT(12→9点)と筋力およびCATの改善を認めた.今回,入院が困難なCOPD症例に対し,外来で多職種が介入することで全身状態を改善させ,入院を回避することができた.栄養失調を伴うサルコペニアが疑われるCOPDに対する,外来における栄養および運動療法の有用性が示された一例と考えられる.

Taking into account the earthquake-resistant design standards in effect when the building was designed, new earthquake-resistant design criteria were established for the retrofit, to check the earthquake-resistant safety of the retrofit design. Structural and functional considerations led to a choice of laminated rubber for the isolator material. The results of vibration analysis using a mass system model demonstrated that the earthquake motion input into the building would be reduced substantially by the retrofitwork. It was also shown that the work would substantially meet the earthquake-resistant design criteria. Three-dimensional vibration analysis was also carried out using a solid frame model to calculate the margin of safety of each structural member would be earthquake-resistant.

衛星放送は静止衛星を使用しているので地上にアンテナを設置することにより、国内どこでも24時間テレビ放送を受信することができる。衛星放送波のテレビ放送波のカラーサブキャリア周波数はVHF帯のテレビ放送と同様に、通常ルビジウム原子発振器等によって制御されている。ルビジウム発振器の安定度は10^<-11>より高いので、これを地上の2地点で同時に制度よく測定することにより、その間の距離を求めることができると考えられる。そこで高精度位相測定装置の試作を行って距離を測定した結果について報告する。

【目的】肩甲骨の運動異常(Scapular Dyskinesis:SDK)を有する野球選手の肩屈曲運動中の肩甲骨運動を評価すること。【方法】対象は肩挙上・下制時ならびに投球時に肩関節痛のない野球選手51名とした。SDKの評価はSDKを4つのtypeに分類し(type I~IV),type Iを認めた場合は異常群,type IVの場合は正常群とした。測定は肩屈曲動作を実施し,三次元動作解析装置を用いて,肩甲骨と肩関節の角度を算出した。解析区間は,肩屈曲30°~120°位の肩甲骨の上下方回旋,内外旋,前後傾角度を算出した。【結果】異常群の挙上期30°~90°の肩甲骨の後傾は正常群に比較して,有意に小さかった(p<0.05)。また,異常群の下制期30°~60°の肩甲骨前傾は正常群に比較して,有意に大きかった(p<0.01)。【結論】SDK type Iを有する無症状の野球選手の肩屈曲動作中の肩甲骨運動の特徴として,挙上期30°~90°の肩甲骨の過小な後傾と下制期30~60°の過剰な前傾運動を呈していることが明らかとなった。
