本稿ではTwitter、ブログ、ドラマなどからマウンティングと意図された、またはそう捉えられた発話を取り上げ、その特徴をLeech(1983) のPoliteness principleを用いて考察した。その結果、自身の優位性を示すことに重点を置いた明示的なマウンティングから、見せかけのポライトネスを見せつつ暗示的に攻撃するものまで幅広く存在することが分かった。また、参与者B にとってデリケートな話題であると知りながらあえてその話題に触れる、ポライトな言語行動が期待されている場面で最大限に賞賛を行わない、感謝表明の代わりに不満表明をする、賞賛発話の中で否定語彙を使用するなどの特徴も見られた。

The globalization of people and things results in the short average distance of the networks and emerging infectious disease can spread immediately after the development in this world. Thus, preventive infection control measures are important. The infection risk should be evaluated to adopt effective infection control measures. In this study, the cough machine that can generate human-like cough to evaluate the infection risk in indoor environments were developed to evaluate infection risk. The cough expired volume, travel distance, velocity, total mass of droplets, and particle size distribution of the droplets of the cough machine were compared with the subject experimental data. The deposition of droplet on facial mucous membranes, such like eyes and a mouth, at various distances and horizontal surfaces at different heights were measured using the cough machine and thermal manikin. It was shown that the number of droplet deposited on the position of facial mucous membranes decrease drastically over 90 cm when the infected person and susceptible person faced each other. On horizontal surfaces, the droplet deposited most at 50-60 cm and more than 90% of the droplet deposited within 90 cm. The number of droplet deposited on the surface under 50%RH condition was larger than that under 30%RH condition. The effect of relative humidity was larger on the near surface because the propagation time is shorter than it takes to deposit on the distant far-surface. We provide experimental evidence to evaluate droplet and contact infection risk that enable to address a question of the relative importance of each infection route.

Salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous motors have been widely used in industrial applications for their high efficiency. To control these motors, knowledge of rotor position and velocity are necessary and expensive sensors have been used to detect these signals. Although many sensorless control algorithms have been developed for cylindrical permanent magnet motors, they cannot be applied for salient-pole machines without any approximation because of the complicated mathematical model, and this may lead to unstable problems. To solve this problem, new extended electromotive force models for synchronous motors have been proposed in this paper. The proposed models have a simple structure integrating position information both in the magnet and in the inductance into one extended electromotive force term. Using these models, no approximation is necessary. Experimental results show that the proposed model and method are valid.

While conventional oil and gas production is expected to hit a peak in dozens of years, the world still requires hydrocarbons as the main source of energy. The need to fill the gap between supply and demand, and the recent high oil price, have aroused enthusiasm for unconventional oil and gas. But, the development of them is, full of ups and downs.The extra heavy oil boom began in early 2000's, when large projects started in Canada and Venezuela. But, rising plant cost, shortage of skilled workers, and environmental concerns have increased uncertainty of those projects, and finally this year global economic crunch and oil price plunge ended the boom. In those circumstances, technologies to reduce production cost are keenly craved and several are on trial in actual projects.In 2005, U.S. Congress directed the Bureau of Land Management to manage oil shale development on public lands. By 2008, the bureau issued six research development and demonstration leases that will allow oil shale development to resume on a 160-acre tract of public land. Currently, in-situ conversion process is arguably the most cost effective recovery method.The U.S. has led the world in coalbed methane (CBM) development, and the production reached 1.8 tcf by 2006. While some countries are after the footsteps of the U.S. in CBM development, the U.S. is now considering giving a higher priority to shale gas instead as the results of efforts to develop economical production methods for years.Japan has studied gas hydrate development since 1990's. In 2008, the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation carried out a successful gas hydrate production test in Canada. The next step of their pursuit will include practical application of the production method, nationwide potential evaluation, and development of environmental assessment technique.

新型のプリウスPHVに搭載されている新開発プラグインハイブリッドシステムは,旧型のプリウスPHVと比べ,よりいっそうの高効率・低損失化と小型・軽量化を目指して開発を推進し,次世代環境車の柱となるにふさわしい省エネ性能を実現した。EV性能は,EV距離とEV出力ともに旧型より大幅アップを実現し,実使用でのEVカバー率の向上が可能となった。さらに,駆動用バッテリの充電は,ACおよびDC充電に加え,世界初のソーラー充電システムを採用した。駐車中のソーラー充電で,日当たり最大EV距離6.1 km分の充電が可能であり,よりCO2フリーなEV走行が可能となった。

わが国は乳・乳製品のうち生乳のみを動物検疫の対象としていたが,2017年11月から新たに乳・乳製品の輸入検疫を開始した.口蹄疫発生地域から輸入する場合,ウイルス不活化のため72℃ 15秒の加熱処理等が求められ,輸入検査では一部の現物で加熱履歴を確認する.乳の加熱履歴確認は,IDF63等に準拠したアルカリホスファターゼ(ALP)活性測定法が有効だが,手順が煩雑で時間を要す.そこで,ALPの反応により生成された蛍光物質量を簡易迅速に測定する手法を基に測定を試みた.種々の条件で加熱したウシ,ヒツジ,ヤギの乳と各種乳製品を供試し,各動物種乳において72℃ 15秒とほぼ同等の加熱でALPが失活することを確認した.今回確立した方法は,IDF63等より簡易で,少量かつ短時間での測定が可能であった.また,材料を懸濁することで各乳製品の加熱履歴確認も可能であった.

本研究の目的は、近距離における飛沫核濃度と相対湿度の関係を実験的に把握することである。実験として、模擬咳発生装置(咳マシン)により飛沫を含んだ模擬咳を発生させ、被感染者が感染者の近傍で咳に曝露された場合に吸引しうる飛沫核個数を測定した。実験結果を基に感染リスク評価を行い、近距離曝露における相対湿度、距離および遠距離曝露における換気回数が飛沫核濃度に与える影響について考察した。更に、異なる距離における飛沫核濃度を比較した。

“Tanden, ” a Japanese term for the lower abdominal region below the navel, is believed in oriental physical arts to be extremely important in maintaining vitality, staying calm, and taking rational action. In this paper, we examine whether the “tanden” focus of attention exherts an influence on postural control. The effectiveness of this “tanden” focus of attention on postural control is estimated by observing the equilibrium of subjects tasked with standing upright while following different sets of instructions. Four groups of subjects are instructed to stand still with minimal body sway while standing on a force-plate system that measures their center of pressure (COP). Each group is given different instructions: One group focuses on markers placed 26 cm away from the middle line of the force plate (external focus), a second focuses on their feet (internal focus), and the third on their “tanden” (internal focus). The control group is given no specific focus instructions. The parameters of equilibrium are the length of COP, average velocity of COP, and ellipse area of COp.The results show: 1) The length of COP is significantly shorter (p<0.05) in the “tanden” focus group than in the feet-focus group and the control group.2) The average velocity of COP is significantly slower (p<0.05) in the “tanden” focus group than in the feet-focus group and the control group.3) In the ellipse area of COP, there is no difference among the four groups. These results suggest that “tanden” focus of attention attenuates body sway.

前年に引き続き、読書支援アプリケーションの試作にかんして、以下の活動を行った。①科学研究費の範囲ではアプリケーションの開発に十分な資金的リソースにはならないことが判明したため、本研究の範囲を試作とアプリケーションで利用する文学関連データの整理に絞り、研究を進めた。②試作に最適な文学作品とはなにかについて、分析と検討を加え、人物を焦点に中上健次・宮沢賢治の両名、場所を軸に広島を対象とすることに決定。上記のうち、中上健次の作品にかんして、(1)場所(トポス)、(2)人物、(3)出来事、をタグにデータ整理を進めた。③実証実験候補となる、多数のユーザーが参加するイベントを検討。普及が始まったウェアラブル端末を、読書支援に利用できないかの検討を進めた。④電子書籍の現状をめぐる中間報告を、早稲田大学文芸ジャーナリズム学会紀要「現代文芸研究」に発表。

要旨 当科で診断した胃MALTリンパ腫98例の内視鏡所見を検討した.胃MALTリンパ腫の内視鏡所見は,早期胃癌(IIc)類似型,胃炎類似型,隆起型の3群に大別できた.早期胃癌類似型と早期胃癌の鑑別のポイントは① 正常粘膜との境界が不明瞭,② 蚕食像がないか,あってもごく一部,③ 陥凹内に粘膜模様が観察される,④ 病変が多発することが多い,の4点であった.胃炎類似型はさらに,びらん・潰瘍型,色調変化型,顆粒・結節型に細分類され,びらん性胃炎,急性胃粘膜病変,消化性潰瘍,萎縮性胃炎,鳥肌状胃炎などとの鑑別が必要である.一方,隆起型は,表面にびらんや潰瘍を伴い,形状も不整であることから間葉系腫瘍との鑑別は容易であるが,IIa型早期胃癌や形質細胞腫との鑑別が問題となる.早期胃癌類似型は胃炎類似型に比べて,壁深達度がSM以深の症例が多く(p<0.01),Helicobacter pylori感染を認めない症例の割合が高かった(p<0.01).

Extraction of emotion from facial expression and voice are attempted in this research. Although there are researches on extracting emotion using still pictures, there are quite few which analyze motion pictures. The eye and mouse motion were observed. Voice analysis was done based upon sound pressure.

千葉県銚子市および茨城県神栖市内におけるペット飼養の実態並びに飼養者の意識を知る目的で平成23および24年の6月から7月にかけて千葉県銚子市内および茨城県神栖市内の学校に通う小学校5年生、中学校2年生、高校2年生を対象として「ヒトとペットに関するアンケート」を実施した。本報ではペットの飼養状況を中心にその結果を報告した。両市の80%以上の学童・生徒は動物に対して好意を抱いており、その40%が犬猫を、30%がその他の動物をペットとして飼養していた。また、現在ペットを飼っていない人もその半数以上がペットを飼いたいと思っていた。動物は嫌いだと答えた人の多くは動物に対して恐怖心を持っており、過去の動物による嫌な経験が一つの原因となっている可能性が指摘された。しかし、犬猫の健康に対する基本的理解度は低く、感染症や予防接種に対しても関心があまり高くないことが明らかとなった。また、現在犬猫を飼養している人においても、不妊・去勢手術に対する関心が低く、手術が行われたのは1/3程度であった。動物アレルギーが強く疑われる学童・生徒が少なからず存在し、息苦しさ、吐き気といった重い症状が現れた人も含まれていた。

The location of the stance during the standard position (Chudan-no-kamae) in Kendo measured from skilled Kendo players (n=28) were divided in the two types, high grade type (=HG) and middle grade type (=MG), according to the trained career (=Dan-i and playing career) of them. The length, width and left foot angle made from vertical line estimated from the location of the stance were compared between HG and MG. The differences of equilibrium between HG and MG were studied in student Kendo players (n=10). The parameters of equilibrium determined by analyzing the center of the foot pressure were the displacement of the body sway and the body sway area. These parameters were compared between HG and MG. The length of the stance (cm/Height) was shorter significantly (p< 0.05) in HG (=0.12±0.03)than in MG (=0.15±0.05). In the width and left foot angle of the stance, there was no difference between HG and MG, respectively. The displacement of the body sway was shorter significantly (p< 0.01) in HG than in MG. As the total period kept standing, mean value of the displacement in HG (=716.6mm) was 14% shorter than in MG (=830.6mm). In the body sway area, there was no difference between HG (=28.9± 13.1cm2) and MG (=30.9 ± 17.0cm2). These results suggest that the equilibrium in Kendo posture correlate closely with the length of stance. In the present paper, correlation between biomechanical properties of the different stance types in Kendo players and skill levels of them are also discussed.
