語句をカテゴリ (トピック) に分類した概念辞書は,文書分類をはじめ様々なアプリケーションの基盤リソースとして必要とされている.代表的な概念辞書である WordNet は一般語を網羅的に定義しているが,固有名詞や専門用語,新語はあまり網羅されていない.一方,大規模 Web 百科事典である Wikipedia はそのような語句を数多く定義しており,また,語句を分類するためのカテゴリ構造を有している.しかし, Wikipedia のカテゴリ構造は,複数の親やループを許容するネットワーク構造であるため,ある語句がどのカテゴリに属しているかを判別するのは難しい.そこで本研究では,グラフ理論に基づいて Wikipedia のカテゴリネットワークを解析し,確率的に語句を分類する手法を提案する.また,語句の確率的分類の結果を教師データとし,ナイーブベイズによる文書分類を行う. Web 検索のスニペットを代表的な 8 カテゴリに分類するタスク,および科学に関するニュースのスニペットを 8 つの領域に分類するタスクにおいて評価を行い,提案手法の有効性を確認した.

本科研の目的は日本人英語学習者の英語力に関する到達指標の提案およびそのレベル別言語材料の科学的な整備である。これを行うことで、シラバス開発、教科書・教材・タスク開発、テスト開発などに資する一貫した英語資料を提供できる。指標に関してはCEFR-JというCEFR準拠の英語汎用枠に基づいた。言語材料配当は、CEFR準拠教科書コーパス・学習者コーパスを独自に構築し、500以上の文法事項、テキスト特性、エラー特性に関してコーパス解析と機械学習の手法を用いて調査し、文法、テキスト、エラーの各プロファイルとして整備した。

A male Japanese domestic cat with retarded growth in Hokkaido, Japan, showed progressive motor dysfunction, such as ataxia starting at 3 months of age and tremors, visual disorder and seizure after 4 months of age. Finally, the cat died of neurological deterioration at 9 months of age. Approximately half of the peripheral blood lymphocytes had multiple abnormal vacuoles. Magnetic resonance imaging showed bisymmetrical hyperintensity in the white matter of the parietal and occipital lobes in the forebrain on T2-weighted and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery images, and mild encephalatrophy of the olfactory bulbs and temporal lobes. The activity of lysosomal acid β-galactosidase in leukocytes was negligible, resulting in the biochemical diagnosis of GM1 gangliosidosis. Histologically, swollen neurons characterized by accumulation of pale, slightly granular cytoplasmic materials were observed throughout the central nervous system. Dysmyelination or demyelination and gemistocytic astrocytosis were observed in the white matter. Ultrastructually, membranous cytoplasmic bodies were detected in the lysosomes of neurons. However, genetic analysis did not identify the c.1448G>C mutation, which is the single known mutation of feline GM1 gangliosidosis, suggesting that the cat was affected with a new variant of the feline disease.

The “buffet” which is the shock wave vibration on the wing at transonic speed has influence to the aerodynamic performance of the civil transport. It is significant because the wing cannot maintain its aerodynamic performance and it is also led to the stall. Therefore, several researches on the suppression of the buffet are carried out. A Vortex Generator (VG) is one of the way which can improve to the transonic buffet. It is simple device and widely applied to the commercial airplane. Conventionally, VGs are installed along the wing span. However, they increase the friction and the instruction drag. Thus, the number of VGs should not be beyond the minimum necessary. Another problem is that it is still expensive for the computational fluid dynamics to simulate the small size vortex accurately. Therefore, the optimization procedure of the VGs installation is developed with directly combining the wind tunnel evaluation result. To reduce the number of experimentations, the surrogate model based GA exploration is employed. The design objective is to maintain the linearity of the variation lift with changing angle of attack (lift curve), because the stall is appeared if the curvature of the lift curves become smaller. Eight initial designs are evaluated and five design samples are acquired. As this result, optimum samples can be explored with reducing the number of the experiment. Several samples successfully prevent the stall without increasing the drag. In addition, the design knowledge can be obtained regarding the optimum VG’s layout by visualization.

株価の時系列データを用いて次期の株価を予測することは困難である.つまり,一因に株価の時系列データに有益でない成分が混在してることがあげられる.先行研究において,ローパスフィルタを用いて株価の時系列データから長周期成分を除去し,ニューラルネットワークにより予測を行ったところ,比較的正確な予測結果が得られた.本論文ではさらに日数の異なる移動平均線の比を求め,その周波数特性を検討し,バンドパス処理により予測に必要と考えられる特徴量の抽出を行った.また,提案方式による実験において従来の手法と比較し,より優れた予測性能が得られた.

年平均状態を求める半球大循環モデルを用いて,黄道傾斜が,23.5°から0°,65°に変化することによって生じた結果を考察した。この様な傾斜の値が,過去の地質時代にとられていたといわれている。傾斜0°の気候は,現在の気候より変化に富み,高緯度の地表面は,より寒冷で,乾燥している。しかし,モデル対流圏は,全体的にやや温暖化している。傾斜65°に対し実験を2例行なった。2例とも高緯度で低アルベードだが,一方は低緯度で氷河のアルベードを与えた。年平均状態に対し,最初の実験例では,対流圏の緯度方向の温度傾度が実質上無かった。第2の実験例では赤道で地表温度が最低となったが,氷河状態になる程の低温に到らなかった。この場合は「反転したハドレー細胞」によって,熱帯東風ジェットが維持された。シミュレートされた水文学,エネルギー交換等を合わせて考慮すれば,ここで得られた結果はこの様に極端な傾斜における気候状態を考える材料を与えてくれる。地球の居住可能帯は,傾斜0°,65°双方に対して,減少すると結論される。以上の実験例は,色々提唱される仮説的気候状態を評価する上で,大気大循環モデルは,かなりの未開拓な可能性を持っていることを示している。

<p>Rumors can easily spread on the microblogging service Twitter in the form of retweets, which are tweets that a user has forwarded to his/her followers. This study investigated the social network characteristics of Twitter users who retweeted rumors concerning the Great East Japan Earthquake. We targeted not only the users who spread the rumor that was delivered to their timeline but also those who did not retweet the rumor. Moreover, we investigated each personal network of the user and his/her followings and followers on Twitter, including the set of connections between them. Consequently, we found that the users who spread the rumors are characterized by lower centrality (lower degree and betweenness) and lower reciprocity (fewer mutual follow relationships). </p>
