本研究では,1981年から1990年に廃止された地方鉄道の駅と存続している地方鉄道の駅を対象に,30年4時点分の駅勢圏人口パネルデータや廃止前の鉄道に関する様々なデータを構築したうえで,地方鉄道の廃止が駅勢圏人口に及ぼす因果効果を,差分の差分法によって推計した.まず,欠損しているデータを多重代入法で補完したうえで傾向スコアを推定し,層別化を行ったうえで分析した.その結果,地方鉄道の廃止によって4-8%程度の駅勢圏人口への負の平均処置効果が確認され,地方鉄道の廃止が駅勢圏人口に負の影響を及ぼすことを統計的に明らかにした.また,鉄道の廃止による駅勢圏人口への影響は,鉄道廃止前の地域特性によって異なる可能性があることが示唆された.

The purpose of this study is to identify oral language development of 101 Japanese junior high school learners from the viewpoints of grammatical development at both the sentence level and the discourse level. (WH interrogatives, pronouns, and conjunctions were selected for analysis) The spoken data that were recorded for each student from November of the 1st year to March of the 2nd year were used for this study. The data consists of one-to-one interviews with an assistant language teacher. Some changes or developments can be observed from July to November of their 2nd year. The following were some features: accuracy rate of WH interrogatives, proportion of formulaic speech to the total number of WH interrogatives, the number of learners who used the subjective, possessive, and objective case pronouns correctly, and the number of learners who used the conjunctions 'when', 'because', 'so', 'but, and 'and'.

[目的]教育を充実させた方が良い項目を特定する目的で臨床能力の主観的評価を実施した。[対象]臨床経験 3年未満の理学療法士50名とした(総合病院32名,整形外科,クリニック 7名,脳血管障害中心の回復期施設 5名)。[方法]①臨床評価能力と②臨床技術において主観的評価表を用いて各項目を点数化した。①臨床評価能力,②臨床技術のそれぞれの項目間を多重比較で比較した。また①臨床評価能力と②臨床技術の項目の中で,今後学びたい,勉強会に参加したい項目について複数回答で調査し,項目ごとに百分率にて算出した。[結果]多重比較では,①臨床評価能力は,姿勢・動作観察及び統合と解釈が他項目と比べ有意に低値であった。②臨床技術は,特殊テクニックが他項目と比べ有意に低値であった。今後学びたい,勉強会に参加したい項目は姿勢・動作観察及び分析が95.1%であった。[結語]臨床経験3年未満の理学療法士は姿勢・動作観察及び分析の自己評価が低く,苦手で学びたいと感じていることが明らかになった。

Biological resources are the basic infrastructure of bioscience research. Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a good experimental model for research in cereal crops and monocots and includes important genetic materials used in breeding. The availability of genetic materials, including mutants, is important for rice research. In addition, Oryza species are attractive to researchers for both finding useful genes for breeding and for understanding the mechanism of genome evolution that enables wild plants to adapt to their own habitats. NBRP-RICE contributes to rice research by promoting the usage of genetic materials, especially wild Oryza accessions and mutant lines. Our activity includes collection, preservation and distribution of those materials and the provision of basic information on them, such as morphological and physiological traits and genomic information. In this review paper, we introduce the activities of NBRP-RICE and our database, Oryzabase, which facilitates the access to NBRP-RICE resources and their genomic sequences as well as the current situation of wild Oryza genome sequencing efforts by NBRP-RICE and other institutes.

腫瘍径5cm以下の肝細胞癌切除68例中,多結節型13例を対象に,多中心性発生の有無や, Stage分類,治癒度分類について検討した.肉眼的進行程度は単発55例でStage I, II, IIIが10例, 24例, 21例であるのに対し,多結節型ではStage II, III, IV-Aが1例, 6例, 6例であった.また治癒度は単発例で絶対的治癒切除 (AC) 6例,相対的治癒切除 (RC) 37例,相対的非治癒切除 (RNC) 12例であるのに対し,多結節型ではRC 3例, RNC 10例であった.一方,多結節型13例中10例が多中心性発生と考えられ,その5生率は54%であった.これに対して単発例の5生率は全体で36%, Stage I, II, IIIで80%, 52%, 15%, AC, RC, RNCで100%, 43%, 22%であった.したがって多結節型肝癌は単発例に比べStageが進行したRNC症例が多いが,多中心性発生の場合には切除により比較的良好な予後が得られており,今後,多中心性発生の可能性を考慮したStage分類や治癒度分類の検討が必要と考えられた.

Numerical simulations were performed for the formation process of rotating black holes. It is suggested that Kerr black holes are formed for wide ranges of initial parameters. The nature of gravitational waves from a test particle falling into a Kerr black hole as well as the development of 3D numerical relativity for the coalescing binary neutron stars are discussed. グロービス経営大学院を修了した後,1年以上経過した修了者に対し,教育理念の実践状況,修了後のキャリアに関する内観及び実社会における活動に関するアンケート調査を行い1,788名から回答を得た。年収が増加した(約68%),業績・実績を上げた(約60%),昇進した(約50%)というポジティブな変化がみられ,修了により社内外の評価を概ね高めることにつながったとする回答者は全体の9割を超えた。修了生のロイヤリティ指標としてNPSを計測した結果は+42.4であった。社内外の評価を高めることにつながった,思い描くような人生に近づいた,人的ネットワークによる心の拠り所が得られた,の3項目はNPSと間に正の相関があった。本結果からグロービス経営大学院において得られた様々な効用は内的な充足感に加え,外的な評価にもつながったと考えている回答者が多く見られることが分かった。
