大皿料理が食卓で共有されると,場の一体感が生まれ,一見すると円滑かつ楽しいコミュニケーションが繰り広げられる.しかし,実際には,言葉をかわす範囲は限定的であり,さらには,日本特有の食文化である 「遠慮のかたまり」 からわかるように,個々人の意思疎通が必ずしもうまくいっているわけではなく,大皿を介した食卓でのコミュニケーションは,さらなる拡がりの余地が残されていると言える.そこで本研究では,大皿のとりわけに 「お酌」 行為を取り入れ,個々人のインタラクション機会を増加させるというアプローチをとることで大皿を介した食卓コミュニケーションの潜在可能性を引き出す試みを行った.We seem to enjoy conversations because we have integrated feelings when we share platter-foods. But we have a limitation of communications. In addition, we can't communicate freely as we know "the last piece we are waiting for someone to eat" as a Japanese food culture. We have a room for expanding and activating communications. In this study, we try to adapt 'oshaku' when we serve a food from big plates because we make many chances to communication and we draw possibilities of communication on platter-mediated communication.

「教科書が面白い」などという台詞は, とんと聞いたことがない。理由は色々あろうが, 指導要領と検定による内容の画一化, 十年一日の如き内容の古さ, 大学入試を意識した内容のてんこ盛り等々, 数え上げれば切りがない。どうすればよいのか-使う側とつくる側との二股をかけている筆者には, 皆目見当が付かない。が, 黙っていたのでは解決策も生まれてこない。徒然なるままに思いの一端を記し, 読者のご判断を仰ぎたい。

ベッド上で便器や尿器を用いたときの排泄時の姿勢は,腹圧がかけやすくなるなどの理由から上半身を挙上するとされている.適切な挙上角度は身体的な安楽なども考慮され60°くらいとされている.しかし,看護技術書にはさまざまな挙上角度の記載があり,明確にはされていない.そこで,ベッド上で便器を挿入し上半身の挙上角度を変化させたときの腹圧のかかり方について,自覚的な腹圧のかけやすさと腹部表面筋電図から検討していくことを目的とした.18~22歳の健康な若年成人女性14名 (平均BMI,21±3.08) を対象に,ベッドの上半身の角度を0°,15°,30°,45°,60°,75°に変化させたときの安静呼吸時と最大腹圧を3秒かけたときの腹部表面筋電図を連続的に測定した.その結果,腹部表面筋電図は自覚的に腹圧がかけやすい拳上角度の順位別でも挙上角度別でも有意差はみられなかった.つまり,自覚的な腹圧のかけやすさと腹部表面筋電図との関連はみられず,腹圧のかかりやすい挙上角度は特定されず個別的である可能性が示された.

Serpentine minerals (lizardite, chrysotile, and antigorite) are a major group of hydrous phyllosilicates resulting from the hydrothermal alteration of mantle peridotite. Their distinct rheological properties mean that serpentine minerals have a strong influence on the mechanical and seismogenic behavior of faults and plate boundaries in both continental and oceanic settings. In this paper we review the results of laboratory experiments performed to understand the frictional and mechanical properties, and deformation mechanisms of serpentinite. Frictional sliding experiments at low slip rates show that antigorite exhibits velocity-strengthening behavior (a−b > 0) over a wide range of temperature (25-400°C) , while values of (a−b) for chrysotile become negative as temperature increases (25-281°C) . This indicates that the stability of slip along serpentinite-bearing faults depends on the serpentine species and fault depth. Frictional sliding of antigorite at seismic slip rates leads to weakening by flash heating. Axial compression experiments at confining pressures of up to 4 GPa show that antigorite is stronger than lizardite by at least a factor of two. The flow law for dislocation creep of antigorite based on stress values at 〜15% strain also predicts differential stresses that are substantially lower than those for the dislocation creep of olivine at natural strain rates (10−10 to 10−14 s−1) . This suggests that the viscosity of serpentinite promotes slab–mantle decoupling. However, the antigorite flow law should be used with caution because antigorite starts to deform by semi-brittle flow after 〜20% strain. Large-strain simple-shear deformation of antigorite aggregates at high pressure (1 GPa) results in a strong alignment of antigorite c-axes normal to the shear plane. This observation explains the trench-parallel anisotropy beneath the Ryukyu subduction zone. Although dehydration embrittlement is considered a primary cause of intermediate-depth earthquakes, recent high-pressure experiments on antigorite show stable sliding behavior or detect no acoustic emissions during dehydration reactions. We emphasize that the presence of talc derived from the metasomatic alteration of serpentine further weakens and stabilizes the slab–mantle interface and promotes long-lived ( > 1 Ma) detachment faulting.

北海道中央南部には,上部白亜系の佐久層,鹿島層,函淵層が広く分布している.本研究では,これまで十分に検討が行われてこなかった大夕張地域以南において佐久層上部~鹿島層にかけての岩相層序を再検討するとともに,浮遊性有孔虫および底生有孔虫化石の層位分布を検討し,浮遊性有孔虫化石による国際年代対比を行った.あわせて底生有孔虫化石帯を設定し,その群集変化から堆積環境の変化を解明することを目的とした.浮遊性有孔虫に基づくと,佐久層上部~鹿島層はチューロニアン上部からカンパニアン下部に対比される.また,底生有孔虫群集の変遷から4つの底生有孔虫化石帯を設定した.底生有孔虫に基づくと,佐久層上部~鹿島層の堆積場は堆積期間を通じで中部~上部漸深海であったと考えられる.

A new angrite-type achondrite was discovered at a new site of meteorite concentrations in Antarctica by the Japanese expedition party in December 1988. Antarctic meteorite Asuka-881371 (previously Asuka-9) is an angrite-type achondrite, which is a rounded individual stone, almost completely covered with a dull-black fusion crust. Pale green, relatively large porphyritic olivine crystals can be seen on the exposed face of the interior. Asuka-881371 is an unbrecciated, igneous rock with typically ophitic (doleritic) texture, consisting mainly of olivine, pyroxene (fassaite) and plagioclase with spinel. From its texture, mineral assemblages and chemical composition, Asuka-881371 is identified and classified as an angrite. However, based on several characteristics, especially bulk chemical composition, Asuka-881371 is different from Angra dos Reis, LEW86010 and LEW87051 angrites which are the three previously known angrites collected from non-Antarctic and Antarctic regions.

ハンセン病療養所「菊池恵楓園」に暮らす80 歳代男性のライフストーリー。 杉野芳武(すぎの・よしたけ)さんは,1931 年3 月,熊本県生まれ。1942 年9月27 日,菊池恵楓園に入所。この11 歳で母に連れられて恵楓園にやって来たとき,彼は子どもながらに入所を拒否して"脱走"している。ところが,再度母親に連れられて「門をくぐった」彼は「もう外に出るのが怖くなった」と語る。彼が生家の敷居を再び跨いだのは,母危篤の連絡を受けた1979 年のことであった。37 年間も彼の生家への帰省を阻む目に見えない力が,「癩/らい予防法」下のハンセン病療養所には作動していたということであろう。 2001 年のハンセン病違憲国賠訴訟の熊本地裁での原告勝訴のあと,2003 年になって,熊本県内の黒川温泉で恵楓園入所者への宿泊拒否事件が発生。その町は杉野さんの生まれ故郷であった。自治会役員としてこの問題に対処した当事者の視点から,事件の顛末を詳しく語っていただけた。――恵楓園にやって来たホテルの総支配人の"謝罪文"の受取りを入所者自治会が拒否する場面が全国放送で流され,その後,入所者たちに対する誹謗中傷の手紙や電話が殺到した。杉野さんの語りによれば,ホテルに総支配人を訪ねたときは,宿泊拒否は「本社の社長の判断だ」と言い張っていたのが,恵楓園に来たときは「お断りしたのはすべて自分の判断」で押し通したのだという。心からの反省,謝罪を微塵も感じ取れなかったがゆえの,入所者たちの反応だったのだ。 聞き取りは,2011 年3 月15 日,菊池恵楓園の自治会室にて。聞き手は,福岡安則,黒坂愛衣,足立香織。聞き取り時点で,杉野芳武さんは,80 歳。2010年,杉野かほるの筆名でおつれあいの杉野桂子さんと『エッセー集 連理の枝』を上梓。囲碁はアマ6 段の腕前で,赤旗主催の棋戦では熊本県代表となって全国大会に出場したこともある。短歌を詠み,随筆も書き,アマチュア無線も楽しむという多才のひとである。 2012 年12 月8 日,原稿確認。2014 年7 月に恵楓園を再訪したとき,白板の7 月の予定表には,入所者自治会の志村康会長,稲葉正彦副会長とならんで,恵楓園を訪ねてくる小中学生相手の説明役として杉野芳武さんの名前も書かれていた。ハンセン病に対する偏見差別をなんとしてでもなくしたいという強靱な意志が,かれらの活動を支えているのであろう。 なお,〔 〕は聞き手による補筆である。 This is the life story of a man in his 80s living in Kikuchi-Keifūen, a Hansen's disease facility. Mr. Yoshitake Sugino was born in March 1931 in Kumamoto prefecture and sent to Kikuchi-Keifūen on 27th September 1942. He was 11 years old and refused to enter the facility when his mother brought him to Kikuchi-Keifūen. He ran away but came to the facility with his mother again to 'enter the gate.' He said that he was scared to go out. He revisited home after hearing the news that his mother was in a critical condition in 1979. It was the first time for him to return home since entering the facility. There was invisible power to disturb him to visit home for 37 years. It must be the Segregation Policy which affected Hansen's disease patients' lives in the leprosy facilities. Even after the unconstitutionality lawsuit against the Segregation Policy was decided in favor of the plaintiffs by the Kumamoto district court in 2001, there was an incident at a hotel in Kurokawa hot springs in which people from Kikuchi-Keifūen were refused entry, in 2003. The town was Mr. Sugino's home. We were able to hear the details because he was involved in the arbitration for this event as an executive member of the resident association of Kikuchi-Keifūen. The general manager of the hotel visited Kikuchi-Keifūen to submit the 'apology statement' but the resident association refused to accept it. This scene was aired by the national broadcasting network. Subsequently, masses of letters and phone calls criticizing the people in Kikuchi-Keifūen rushed in. According to Mr. Sugino, the general manager had claimed that rejecting the Kikuchi-Keifūen people was the hotel president's decision when Mr. Sugino and his colleague visited the general manager at the hotel. However, the manager changed her word when she came to the facility, saying that the manager herself decided to reject the people. All members in Kikuchi-Keifūen could not see even a tiny piece of sincerity from the 'apology.' This interview was conducted at the resident association office of Kikuchi-Keifūen on 15th March 2011. Interviewers were Yasunori Fukuoka, Ai Kurosaka and Kaori Adachi. Mr. Yoshitake Sugino was 80 years old at the time of the interview. Mr. Sugino published the essay book Renri no Eda with his wife Keiko Sugino. He is a skillful 'Go' player with a rank of amateur six-dan, and joined the national Go tournament hosted by Akahata as the representative of Kumamoto prefecture. He is also a man of other talents who enjoys composing thirty-one syllabled verses, writing essays, and operating a ham radio. The interview script was approved by him on 8th December 2012. When we revisited Kikuchi-Keifūen in July 2014, the schedule board in the resident association office displayed that Mr. Sugino worked as the speaker of the explanation of Hansen's disease for young students as Mr. Masahiko Inaba, the vice president of the resident association. The strong determination to abolish the discrimination on Hansen's disease motivates their activities.
