This article is intended as an investigation of the absence of the "fleeing youth" story (Mark 14:51-52) in Matthew and Luke. Based on "Markan priority" that the Gospel of Mark is the first Gospel, we are forced to think that both Matthew and Luke omitted Mk. (1Iark) 14:51-52. Many scholars have come to accept this "mutual omission" by regarding this "fleeing youth" as the author Mark himself. However, some scholars question this theory. Meanwhile, since the 1950s, the relationship between the "fleeing youth" and the "youth in Jesus' empty tomb" (16:1-8) in Mark has been discussed. However, this theory cannot explain the "mutual omission" unless we modify the traditional interpretation of Mark. Therefore, we notice in Knox (1951) that a linen cloth ("sindon"), which the youth left in 14:51-52, is used as Jesus' burial outfit (Mk. 15:46). Basically, the "lexical cohesion" is not only the relationship between 14:51-52 and 15:46, but also between 14:51-52 and 16:5. When the other Gospels were not written, the readers of Mark regarded Jesus' outfit as the death itself that the youth left to save his life.Then, insofar as we base our reasoning on Markan priority, we cannot find any basis for regarding the youth of Mk. 16:5 as an angel.Moreover, if the youth of 14:51-52 is recognized as the youth of 16:5, the youth of 16:5 should be equally a disciple as in 14:51-52. In return for Jesus' death, the youth of Mk. 16:5 is a certain disciple who is resurrected from the death. Although Hamilton (1965) attempts to explain the empty tomb by the interpretation that people who rise from the dead are as angels that are in heaven in "the controversy with Sadducee" (Mk. 12:25), his opinion serves to explain the influence of the mutual omission of 14:51-52 in both Matthew and Luke. The author of Matthew added "the Saints' Resurrection" (27-51-53) immediately after Jesus' death. In Matthew, because both the "Saints' Resurrection" incident and "empty tomb" story mention earthquakes, the two stories have lexical cohesion. Readers realize that the resurrection of the youth identified with a disciple in Mk.l6:5 coincides with Jesus' death.Moreover the author rewrote Mark's "youth" in the empty tomb as "an angel of the Lord" (Mattew 28:2). The author of Luke rewrote Mark's youth in the empty tomb as "two men" (24: 4). In the "Emmaus" story (24: 13-35), two disciples tell Jesus that the women recognized "two men" as "angels: This fact leads readers to the recognition that the persons who rise from the death resemble "angels" through human eyes. In common, their alterations are premised on "the controversy with Sadducee" in each Gospel.

By the time George Eliot died, women writers constituted a set of frightening rivals in the literary marketplace. Henry Knight in A Pair of Blue Eyes is an educated character which comes out with the continuing interest in the psychological disturbance caused by a conflict between reason and emotion. Henry Knight the reviewer criticizes the novel written by Elfride Swancourt the woman writer. His criticism puts him in the position superior to woman writer. He lives within the frame of traditional phallogocentrism. The world he lives in is quite different from the real one. Knight projects his image upon the woman with whom he is in love, and then will attribute to her qualities quite different from those she really has. It is untried lips that Knight has desired. As he excessively sticks to his ideal woman, he feels uneasy about physical contact with real woman. Touching with woman's body, he becomes very nervous. This extreme restraint is not the expression of his wholly gentle and tender nature. Besides the predominant tenderness, there exists contrary but unconscious stream of hostility. The hostility is cried out through an excessive increase of tenderness which is expressed as anxiety. When he does not become superior to Elfride Swancourt as to sexual experiences, his tenderness changes into hostility and anxiety. He cannot accept the fact sexuality inheres in the psyche, or soul. Women writers gain more power in the literary marketplace, and women tend to become superior to men about sexual experiences, apart from their ideal angel. These two facts are linked with each other. Ascetic men and the recent writers are under the threat of the appearance of new women.

This paper analyses the influence of postal architecture's quality assurance from the view point of client side. Postal architecture is very unique tradition, having both clients and architects function in the organization. Postal architecture was born in 1885, with over 130 years' historical accomplishment. The era of postal architecture has been divided into 4 phases; 1) the era of in-house designers who lead building projects, 2) era of specialists, 3) era of project management, 4) era of externalities and privatization. This paper analyses the changing role of clients and how the environment society has been influenced these changes.

「旅に病んで夢は枯野をかけめぐる」というように我々の脳の中はどんな時でも電気信号がかけめぐっている。この信号はスパイク状の活動電位とシナプス電位の二つに大別できる。さらに神経細胞自体静かにしている時でも-50から-100mVという静止電位をもっている。これらが複雑に組み合わさって脳の働きが形成される。我々が夢をみたりするのはこれら信号の組み合わせである。ここでは個々のこれら信号について述べる。

冷戦期の防衛庁長官や内局の防衛政策に対するスタンスは,自衛隊をいかに抑制するかという消極的統制の要素が強かった。しかし,冷戦の終結に伴い,自衛隊の役割に対するニーズが高まることによって,政治家の防衛政策への関与が増加し,自衛隊を海外派遣や有事対処に積極的に活用しようとする積極的統制が顕著になった。内局の官僚も生え抜き組が主流となることによって,制服組との組織的利害の一致が進むこととなった。こうした1990年代以降の安全保障環境の変化と政治家の関与,防衛庁内の内幕一体化がシビリアン・コントロールを変質させることとなったのである。
