CaCl2による化学的劣化の一要因と考えられている3CaO・CaCl2・15H2Oについて、セメント硬化体における3CaO・CaCl2・15H2O生成におよぼすCaCl2溶液濃度、および環境温度の影響を、実験的検討と熱力学的相平衡計算から検討した。CaCl2溶液へのセメント硬化体の浸漬では、より高い濃度CaCl2溶液への浸漬と、より低い温度環境で、Ca(OH)2は消失し3CaO・CaCl2・15H2Oが生成した。熱力学的相平衡計算から求めた構成相の変化は実験結果と概ね一致し、計算結果から3CaO・CaCl2・15H2O生成に伴って水和物の総体積が増大した。セメント硬化体の浸漬試験から、3CaO・CaCl2・15H2O生成が体積膨張の原因と推定した。

We digitally restored the original Great Buddha and the main hall of Todaiji temple. Todaiji temple has been destroyed by natural and artificial disasters and rebuilt for a number of times. As a result, the shapes of the current Great Buddha and its main hall are slightly different from the original states. We reconstructed the 3D models of the original Great Buddha and its main hall. The 3D model of the original Great Buddha was reconstructed by morphing the 3D model of the current Great Buddha, which was obtained by laser scanning and Modeling-from-Reality techniques. The 3D model of the original main hall was reconstructed by assembling the partial 3D models of the main hall of Toshodaiji temple. We combined these models and visualized the original state of Todaiji temple by Computer Graphics techniques.

目的:Implantable collamer lens(ICL)挿入術を施行した患者の術後経過を調査して,術後白内障の病型を集計した.方法:ICL挿入術後に水晶体再建術を施行した患者の白内障病型を後方視的に集計した.結果:前囊下白内障,核白内障,皮質白内障,後囊下白内障がそれぞれ16眼(72.7%),4眼(18.2%),1眼(4.6%),0眼(0%)であった.また,後囊下白内障と前囊下白内障の合併を1眼(4.6%)で認めた.ICLは全例中心貫通孔なしのモデルであった.考察:ICL挿入後に発生した白内障の病型は,前囊下白内障が多かった.発生機序としては水晶体前面における房水供給の変化による水晶体上皮細胞への栄養障害が疑われた.このことから,中心貫通孔ありのICLを使用することでICL挿入後の白内障を予防できる可能性が示唆された.

An orifice plate is provided in the midst of a flow tube about 30cm long. A reciprocating piston device with the cylinder coaxial with the meter run is located at about 5 flow tube diameters upstream of the orifice meter. On the downstream side, it forms a discharge flow tube and is open to the atmosphere at the end. This simple equipment enables us to obtain a particular type of pulsating air flow through the orifice under specified conditions, so that we attempted to formulate mathematically the changes of the state of air in the flow tube in an operating condition.In making formulation, it was found that the principle of conservation of energy furnishes a satisfactory basis for reasoning. The increasing rate of the total amount of energy income and expenditure in the air in each section of the flow tube separated by the orifice plate is equated with the increasing rate of the internal energy of the air in that section. A set of ordinary differential equations obtained as the result of formulation is numerically integrated on a personal computer. The instantaneous values of pressure calculated in the upstream section of the flow tube were found to be satisfactorily in agreement with those observed from the oscillogram.

Selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) comprise a new class of molecules that induce anabolic effects with fewer side effects than those of other anabolic agents. We previously reported that the novel SARM S-101479 had a tissue-selective bone anabolic effect with diminished side effects in female animals. However, the mechanism of its tissue selectivity is not well known. In this report, we show that S-101479 increased alkaline phosphatase activity and androgen receptor (AR) transcriptional activity in osteoblastic cell lines in the same manner as the natural androgen ligand dihydrotestosterone (DHT); conversely, stimulation of AR dimerization was very low compared with that of DHT (34.4%). S-101479 increased bone mineral content in ovariectomized rats without promoting endometrial proliferation. Yeast two-hybrid interaction assays revealed that DHT promoted recruitment of numerous cofactors to AR such as TIF2, SRC1, β-catenin, NCoA3, gelsolin and PROX1 in a dose-dependent manner. SARMs induced recruitment of fewer cofactors than DHT; in particular, S-101479 failed to induce recruitment of canonical p160 coactivators such as SRC1, TIF2 and notably NCoA3 but only stimulated binding of AR to gelsolin and PROX1. The results suggest that a full capability of the AR to dimerize and to effectively and unselectively recruit all canonical cofactors is not a prerequisite for transcriptional activity in osteoblastic cells and resulting anabolic effects in bone tissues. Instead, few relevant cofactors might be sufficient to promote AR activity in these tissues.

日本全国で大規模災害の発生する危険性があるが, 当院のある明石市周辺は交通の要衝であり, 大規模交通災害の起こる可能性が少なくない. 平成4年の信楽高原鉄道事故を期に当院独自の大規模災害対応策を検討し, 各種緊急資材の配備やマニュアルを試作してきた. これらを基に信楽高原鉄道, 大阪ニュートラム事故, 名古屋空港事故を例にシュミレーションを行った. 事前に準備しておくと単独でもかなりな規模の交通災害に対応可能と考えられたが, より大規模な災害では単独では限界があり, 全国的な国立病院の支援, 協力態勢が不可欠であり, 災害の正確な情報伝達, 複数期間の統括, 救護班の派遣, 資材の備蓄, 空床の確保などの問題点が示唆され, これらを考慮した総合的な訓練の必要性が痛感された.

ネパール東部では1934年にM8.2の地震が発生したが,地震空白域に当たる西部では,今後の地震による斜面崩壊の多発と住民への被害が懸念されている.そこで,先行研究の活断層図を用いてネパール西部における地震時の斜面崩壊の脆弱性をマッピングした。その結果を報告する。

Unu el la ortodoksaj historiistoj pri la Holokaŭsto, D. Lipstadt en sia verko "Denying Holocaust" severe kritikis la anglan historiiston, D. Irving, kiel "la defendanton de Adolf Hitler" kaj "la neanton de la Holokaŭsto". Kontraŭ tio, D. Irving akuzis ŝin kaj la eldonejon "Penguin books LTD" pro la malhonorado. Tamen, tiu proceso ne restis la personara malhonorada proceso, sed iĝis la tribunalo de la Holokaŭsto, ĉar la diputitaj temoj en la proceso havis rilatojn kun ĉefe la Holokaŭsto, precipe, la koncentrejo de Auschwitz kaj "gasaj ĉambroj". Unu el la gravaj disputitaj temoj estis "la arkitekture criminalaj postsignoj", kiuj pruvas, ke la koncentrejo de Auschwitz estis la eksterma centro uzinta "hommortigajn gasajn ĉambrojn". Bazante sin sur diversaj studoj de "la Holokaŭstaj Revizionistoj", D. Irving konkrete kritikis "la criminalaj postsignoj" prezentitajn de R. J.van Pelt.

3種類の汚染土壌を充填した枠團場で,延べ39品種のホウレンソウ類を秋と春に栽培して,各品種の可食部におけるCd濃度の差が,生育条件により変動するかを検討した. 1)最も濃度が低いフダンソウは,濃度が高いホウレンソウ品種に対して平均で30%程度のCd濃度を示した.ホウレンソウ品種間の比較では,最も低い品種のCd濃度平均値は,濃度が高いホウレンソウ品種の平均値の50%程度であった,しかし,品種ごとのCd濃度順位は,栽培条件による変動もあり,個別の試験で得られるCd濃度順位は必ずしも一定しない. 2)既往の実験データを含む,延べ115品種,総計684点のホウレンソウ類のCd濃度品種間差データを「Cd指標」および「ゆらぎ」としてとりまとめた.Cd濃度が高まりやすい品種はモナリザ,アスパイアー,サンパワー,パシオン,ハンプルグ,サンピアテン,イーハトーブ,サマーステージ,タイタン,東海,など.Cd濃度が高まりにくい品種は,シュマイザー,ブレード,次郎丸,コンバット,アトラス,やまと,とフダンソウで,下位品種の「Cd指数」平均値は,上位10品種の0.52倍であったが,これらの結果は今後のデータの蓄積や解析手法の改良によって変化する可能性がある. 3)「Cd指数」と比較して「ゆらぎ」が大きい品種は,栽培条件によってCd吸収が変化する可能性がある.また,データ源が一点だけの品種が多数あることや品種の入れ替わりが早いことから,今後もデータを蓄積,改訂する必要がある.

La Internacia Milita Tribunalo en Nurnbergo kondaminis Naciistan Germanion pro la krimo kontraŭ humaneco kaj konkludis, ke Naciista Germanio devige enmetis judojn en koncentrejoj kaj mortigis multajn judojn per diverasaj metodoj, speciale, gasaj ĉambroj". Tiu mortigo de judoj estas nomata "Holokaŭsto" post la Mondmilito kaj simbolas la malbonaaĵojn de Naciista Germanio.
