The bullet-firing test was done in the different velocity and collision angle of the bullet. The effect of its velocity and angle on the deformation shape after firing was discussed by comparison with experiment and simulation. The velocity of the bullet was chosen in several kinds of speed ranges at 80m/s-250m/s. As for the angle of incidence with the collision object, four kinds of angles 90°(head-on collision), 45°, 30°, and 60°were set.

Due to their curious phylogenetic position and anatomy, hagfishes have attracted the interest of zoologists, especially in the context of vertebrate evolution. Embryological information on these animals is now also needed in the field of evolutionary developmental biology (Evo-Devo), as it is expected to provide hints about the origin of vertebrate traits, whether the hagfishes are an in- or outgroup of vertebrates. This review summarizes the importance of hagfish embryology from a phylogenetic perspective, and the history of attempts to obtain hagfish eggs and embryos. Clearly, the main difficulty associated with these animals is their deep-sea habitat. To circumvent this problem, this review also discusses the future prospects for obtaining embryological material, both from the wild and in the laboratory.

Here, I briefly review studies on an active metabolite of morphine and characterization of enzymes responsible for the formation of the glucuronide in our laboratory. Morphine has been used extensively in pain clinic and was found biotransformed mainly by glucuronidation to a major inactive glucuronide; morphine-3-glucuronide (M-3-G) and also to a minor active metabolite; morphine-6-glucuronide (M-6-G). The very potent metabolite has been attracted much interest in a role of morphine analgesia in humans. The pharmacokinetic results are now interpreted as demonstrating that the active glucuronide had a positive effect on the analgesia. Recently, researchers have disclosed the presence of an unique opioid receptor for the glucuronide. Our recent experimental evidence from expression of two cDNA clones of glucuronidating enzymes from guinea pig liver supported the view that the enzymes form hetero-oligomers by accessing a broader range of compounds as in the active metabolite than homo-oligomers. A natural follow-up to the present evidence would be to carry out for the genomic information in regulatory molymorphism in drug metabolism by glucuronidation.

水稲の湛水直播栽培では,播種後の落水管理の普及による出芽・苗立ちの安定化にともない,酸素発生剤(カルパー)の種子への被覆量を減量する事例が増加しつつある.本報告では,東北地域においてカルパー被覆量と苗立ちとの関係を播種後落水条件で比較した試験事例を収集,解析し,寒冷地の湛水直播栽培におけるカルパー減量が苗立ちに及ぼす影響について検討を行った.ガルパー無被覆条件では,播種後落水条件であってもカルパー被覆条件と比較して苗立ち率の変動幅が増大するとともに苗立ち率が顕著に低下した.一方,カルパーの乾籾2倍重(標準条件)と乾籾1倍重(減量条件)被覆種子の苗立ちを比較すると,カルパー減量による苗立ち率の低下は供試データの平均値で約4%であり,カルパー減量の影響が小さいことが示唆された.しかしながら,播種深度や出芽期気温の影響について検討した結果,出芽期気温の低い条件ではカルパー減量による苗立ち率の低下が認められた.このため,播種後の日平均気温が15℃を下回るような低温の継続が予想される地域あるいは播種時期においては,播種後落水を行う場合でもカルパー減量の判断は慎重に行う必要があると考えられた.また,カルパー減量を前提とする場合には,標準被覆量で播種する場合よりも播種時期の気温条件に留意して播種目の設定を行う必要があるとともに,低温条件での出芽促進技術の導入を図る重要性が高まることが示唆された.

Dans les phrases du type "Ils ont transporte le blesse sur un brancard.", le syntagme prepositionnel peut s'interpreter comme complement d'instrument, bien qu'il s'agisse d'une preposition normalement consideree comme locative. Cette observation pourrait amener a penser que ce syntagme a un statut intermediaire entre le "lieu" et l'"instrument". Le present article montre cependant que ce syntagme prepositionnel en luimeme designe un lieu et que s'il peut s'interpreter comme complement d'instrument, c'est grace a une inference executee a partir des connaissances du monde en general. La relation d'un instrument de transport au proces de transport est constituee par deux aspects : (a) l'agent localise l'objet par rapport a l'instrument (b) l'agent manipule l'instrument pour transporter l'objet En francais, les prepositions locatives verbalisent l'aspect (a) en laissant l'aspect (b) a l'inference. En japonais, la particule (ou la postposition) "de" verbalise (a) en laissant (b) a l'inference.

第二次世界大戦後の欧米文化輸入に際して、子どもの自立を促すとして日本の家屋にも多く取り入れられた子ども部屋は、1980年代に入り子どもの犯罪における子ども部屋の悪影響がクローズアップされたことなどをきっかけに、犯罪の要因になるとして批判論が強まった。本研究では、栃木県上三川町および小山市における子ども部屋の使用状況と意識について調査を行い、子ども部屋の家庭と家族関係に及ぼす影響について分析した。

本論では,ブリーフセラピーにおける見立ての方法論を,従来心理臨床において行われてきた因果論に基づく見立ての方法論に,Milton H.Ericksonの方法論にみられる見立ての要素を対比する立場で,考察し,論じてみた。この立場からはまず,ブリーフセラピーの見立ては,問題のなりたちに基礎をおく因果論的見立てに対し,問題状況のなりゆきに基礎をおいていると考えられた。結果的にそこには,「時間と動き」「自然に即した見方」の2つの視点があり,そこから,「必然的変化」「リソース」「無意識の方向性」「未来志向」の4つが,ブリーフセラピーにおける見立ての重要な要素として抽出された。

We propose a wearable haptic display to present the sensation of weight and inertial force of virtual objects, which is based on our novel insight that the deformation on fingerpads makes a reliable sensation of weight even when the proprioceptive sensations on wrist and arm are absent. The goal of this project is to meet the increasing demand for realistic haptic feedback with a simple haptic display that delivers realistic existence of virtual objects in entertainment, augmented reality or telexistence systems.

A copper-catalyzed conjugate addition of alkylboron compounds (alkyl-9-BBN, prepared by hydroboration of alkenes with 9-BBN-H) to alkynoates to form beta-disubstituted acrylates is reported. The addition occurred in a formal syn-hydroalkylation mode. The syn stereoselectivity was excellent regardless of the substrate structure. A variety of functional groups were compatible with the conjugate addition.

In this paper, we aim to manipulate user's perceived shape of a curved surface by using pseudo-haptics in projection-based mixed reality. We investigate how we can change the shape which a user feels when touching a curved surface with an index finger, by projecting his/her shifted hand image onto the user's own hand. We performed experiments to investigate the effects of pseudo-haptics and evaluated their influences. The results showed that the shape which the participants perceived was deformed from the actual shape they touched. The results prove the possibility for manipulating user's perceived shape of a curved surface by using pseudo-haptics in projection-based mixed reality.
