最近提案され成功をおさめている格子QCDによる核力研究を紹介する.核力研究の科学的な重要性とその現状を述べた後で,なぜQCDを使って核力を研究するのが難しいか,そして我々はその困難をどのように解決していったか,などを紹介する.格子QCDによる核力ポテンシャルの世界初の結果を示し,その意義を議論する.また,この結果や我々の方法への様々な疑問や誤解に関しての理論的な考察も述べる.そして,核力ポテンシャルの計算法の拡張とそれを用いた最近の発展に関してもできる限り紹介していく.

Japan's most popular version of The Story of Little Black Sambo that had been out of print along with various versions is published again after 16 years. This paper is to study the problems that are found in the original and the recently published version and to examine the revised versions published in the late 1990s. Criticized racism is attributed mainly to the naming and the illustrations reflecting the racism in America. Three revised versions which try to rescue the classic of children literature have new names and setting, yet they have new problems. In spite of their attempts, the revised versions cannot be free from the problems of racism and colonialism inherent in the original. 代表的な植物スフィンゴ脂質であるグルコシルセラミド (セレブロシド) は細胞膜と液胞膜の主要な脂質成分のひとつである。一般にスフィンゴ脂質は構造的な要因として膜を強固にする機能を有することが知られているが, 植物細胞では高含量のセレブロシドの存在は低温条件下での膜の流動性制御に対してマイナスに作用するとともに局部的な膜の相転移状態を引き起こす可能性がある。現在, 植物の低温傷害あるいは凍結傷害と関連したスフィンゴ脂質の役割について多くの研究がなされている。本総説では, 動物スフィンゴ脂質とは顕著に異なる植物スフィンゴ脂質の構造知見を概説し, その中で低温感受性と低温耐性植物から分離したセレブロシドの分子種多様性について述べるとともに, DSC分析から明らかになったセレブロシド分子種の熱特性ならびに低温ストレスに対する応答としてのセレブロシド組成の変化について説明する。また, 著者らの植物スフィンゴ脂質の代謝に関する最近の研究成果についても紹介する。

In psychology it is common to use the term "crisis" when describing human behavior in any extreme situation. The term "crisis", however, is not infrequently used in such a way as "identity crisis" or "growth crisis". It is noted from this that the conception of "crisis" does not always apply to sudden critical situations in which body and mind suffer acute danger or suspense. It is, therefore, advisable to avoid the confusion of the concept by using the phrase "extreme situation" as distinguished from "crisis" in the studies of these fields. Various studies have been made so far about extreme situations studies on disaster psychology, prisoners' psychology and other special studies as well as experimental basic studies. All these studies aim at understanding human behavior in extreme situations, but they are not yet fully interrelated to one another. We would like to propose that, in future, we should make efforts toward systematizing all these studies into one synthesis under the denotation of "Extremity Psychology".

Hinomoto new genus and Hinomoto nihonensis new species of the tribe Sogdini are described from Japan. The new genus is characterized by the large body, the pronotum as long as wide, and the slender, and elongate aedeagus.

The distributions of water content within mortar specimens were observed when water moved in one direction under three environmental conditions, namely drying, moisture absorption and water absorption. Numerical results were compared with the experimental data in order to examine whether the diffusion theory with non-linear equation is adequate for description of the behavior of the water movement. From the comparison, it is concluded that the diffusion theory is applicable to the above three conditions when diffusion coefficients and boundary conditions are suitably chosen. The mechanism of water movement within mortar is also discussed.

本論文では,まず成人吃音の臨床において有用と思われる評価の枠組みを提案した.この枠組みは,吃音の問題を「吃音症状」「環境」「本人の受け取り方(認知・感情面)」という3側面から捉え,これらに「合併する問題」を加えた4側面から評価を行うものである.続いて,これら4側面に対して行い得る訓練・支援について概説し,訓練効果に関する研究についても紹介した.具体的には,流暢性形成法や吃音緩和法,統合的アプローチ,認知行動療法,年表方式によるメンタルリハーサル法,セルフヘルプ・グループといったアプローチについて言及した. 言語聴覚士は,吃音に関する授業が教育課程の中に明確に位置づけられた唯一の専門職である.それゆえに言語聴覚士は,吃音について悩んでいる方がいればその方々を支援する責任があり,また可能な支援の形は数多くある.
