超大深度地下開発のアプローチとなる超大深度立坑は,その重要性を再認識されつつある.しかし,国内石炭産業の縮小に伴い,深度1,000m級の立坑はほぼ20年以上施工されていない.筆者らは超大深度立坑技術の継承と,定量的な立坑設計技術の確立を目的として,過去に施工された超大深度立坑の技術文献調査,およびかつて施工に従事された技術者からの聞き取り調査を実施し,立坑工事において発生する蓋然性の高い崩壊形態を調査した.その結果,立坑における崩壊のほとんどは高抜けと異常地圧による覆工破損の二つに分類されることが明らかとなった.さらに,その発生状況を検証したところ,この二つの現象は同じ原因により発生するものと判断された.

Methods of window matching to estimate 3D points are the most serious factors affecting the accuracy, robustness, and computational cost of Multi-View Stereo (MVS) algorithms. Most existing MVS algorithms employ window matching based on Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCC) to estimate the depth of a 3D point. NCC-based window matching estimates the displacement between matching windows with sub-pixel accuracy by linear/cubic interpolation, which does not represent accurate sub-pixel values of matching windows. This paper proposes a technique of window matching that is very accurate using Phase-Only Correlation (POC) with geometric correction for MVS. The accurate sub-pixel displacement between two matching windows can be estimated by fitting the analytical correlation peak model of the POC function. The proposed method also corrects the geometric transformations of matching windows by taking into consideration the 3D shape of a target object. The use of the proposed geometric correction approach makes it possible to achieve accurate 3D reconstruction from multi-view images even for images with large transformations. The proposed method demonstrates more accurate 3D reconstruction from multi-view images than the conventional methods in a set of experiments.

2-アラキドノイルグリセロール(2-AG)は研究代表者らが1995年に発見した新しい脂質メディエーターである。今回の研究により以下の点を明らかにした。1.2-AGの生成メカニズムの解明。TPAで惹起した急性皮膚炎やアレルギー性皮膚炎の局所では、ホスファチジルイノシトールからだけではなく、ホスファチジルコリンなどからも2-AGが産生されることを明らかにした。2.白血球系の細胞の機能に及ぼす2-AGの影響。マクロファージなどの白血球系の細胞の接着が、2-AGにより増強されることを初めて明らかにした。2-AGは白血球の接着(組織や血管壁への接着)を亢進させることにより、炎症を増大させている可能性がある。3.炎症・免疫系における2-AGの生理的意義の解明。2-AGが急性炎症や慢性のアレルギー性炎症(気管支喘息モデル、アレルギー性皮膚炎モデル)に関与しているかどうかを詳しく調べた。その結果、これらの炎症局所では2-AGの著しい蓄積がみられること、カンナビノイドCB2受容体のアンタゴニストを塗布することにより、炎症反応(腫脹および白血球浸潤)が強く抑えられることなどを明らかにした。これらの結果は、カンナビノイドCB2受容体とその内在性リガンドである2-AGが、急性炎症やアレルギー性炎症の進展に深く関与していることを強く示唆するものである。このほか、2-AGを塗布することによって、炎症反応が惹起されること、2-AGが好酸球を効率よく遊走させることなども明らかにした。4.血管系に及ぼす2-AG作用。2-AGがCB2受容体を発現している細胞に作用するとNOの産生が増大すること、生成したNOによって血管の拡張や透過性の亢進が起きることを明らかにした。マウスの耳などに2-AGを塗布したときに観察される発赤や浮腫は主にNOによるものである可能性がある。

画像データを対象としたデータベースシステムにおいては,検索者の印象や画像の内容による検索を実現する方法が重要である.我々は,文脈あるいは状況に応じて動的に変化するデータ間の意味的な関係を計算するモデルである意味の数学モデルを提案している.本論文では,意味の数学モデルを用いた意味的画像探索方式を提案し,また,その学習機構を示す.本方式では,メタデータ空間と呼ぶ正規直交空間を形成し,その空間上に画像データ群,および,検索に用いるキーワード群を配置する.そして,その空間上での距離計算により,検索者の印象,および,画像の内容の指定に応じた画像探索を実現する.検索対象の各画像は,画像の特徴(印象あるいは内容)を表す言葉(単語群)によって表現されることを前提とする.本方式は,検索者が発行する検索語,および,画像データの特徴を表現する単語間の相関関係の分析により,画像を検索する方式として位置づけられる.本方式では,検索者が指定する印象あるいは画像の内容を文脈として言葉により与えると,その文脈に対応する画像をメタデータ空間より動的に抽出する.本学習機構では,その文脈から得られた画像が,本来,抽出されるべき画像と異なる場合,抽出されるべき画像を指定することにより,文脈を構成している言葉についての学習を行う.本学習機構を適用することにより,画像の印象表現における個人差に対応することが可能となる.

Bone mineral density (BMD) is one of the indications of the strength and health. BMD measured by quantitative computed tomography (QCT) was compared with that measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and radiographic bone aluminum equivalence (RBAE). Limbs were removed from horses that had been euthanized for reasons not associated with this study. Sixteen limbs (left and right metacarpals and metatarsals) from 4 horses were used to compare BMD as measured by QCT with those measured by DXA and RBAE. There was a strong correlation between BMD values measured by QCT and those measured by DXA (R2=0.85); correlation was also observed between values obtained by QCT and those obtained by RBAE (R2=0.61). To investigate changes in BMD with age, 37 right metacarpal bones, including 7 from horses euthanized because of fracture were examined by QCT. The BMD value of samples from horses dramatically increased until 2 years of age and then plateaued, a pattern similar to the growth curve. The BMD values of bone samples from horses euthanized because of fracture were within the population range, and samples of morbid fracture were not included. The relationship between BMD and age provides a reference for further quantitative studies of bone development and remodeling. Quantitative measurement of BMD using QCT may have great potential for the evaluation of bone biology for breeding and rearing management.

The theogy of <Sex=Instinct> is still causing problems whenconsidering sexual education.Basically,by continuing to ask what kindof instinct this is,it sustains procreation.However,there is no suchinstinct.It is quite ordinary nowadays that there are peopre who decidedthey do not want children,or people who cannot have children,orpeople who will not have sex,or people who do not want to get mariied.In fact,the reasons people choose to have sex,and with whom theypartner,and their reasons for doing so,differ depending on their way oflife and their ideas about life.Thereorore, it is important to create ourunderstanding based on <Sex=Cultre>.Further,it is necessary to learnabout sex apart from misunderstandings regarding sex,sexualdiscrimination and stereotypes. The goal of teaching about sex is to help people think about theirway of life and decide how they want sex to be.Within the realm ofteaching,three ropics should be addressed:science,relationshipsand diversity.Scnience allows us to learn about sex based on facts andreality.For example,in order to understand birth cotrol and how to avoid pregnancy,we must understand female biorhythms.Additionally,to understand gender identity disorder,we should learn about birthand how life begins.Relationships give perspective,forcing peopleto think deeply about how good and bad sex reflect good and badcommunication.The division between pleasurable sex and sexualviolence is also shared in this point of view.Diversity is inside all of us,which means that erotic attraction is not formed in or based on whetheryou are called a man or a woman.Diversity is a human condition.Myargument is based on these three perspectives.
