第三セクター等地方自治体の外郭団体について、神戸市住宅供給公社、公有地信託事業等具体的事例について行政内部や議会での議論を整理すると同時に、金融機関交渉、損失補償契約に関する裁判所判断等財政・金融・法務にわたり学際的に研究し、外郭団体の組織ガバナンスと機能再生について体系的かつ実践的な検証を行った。同時に、第三セクター等集中改革期間中の成果について整理し、新設組織の設立増加等そこでの新たな問題点の抽出を行った。この整理・検証を基礎に、第三セクター等外郭団体改革と今後の組織経営に関する具体的選択肢の提示、ゴーイングコンサーンの確立等新たなガバナンス構造の課題整理等を実践的に行った。

「領域選択ゲーム」の応用研究として、スイッチシステム「量子スイッチ」の試作品を作った。「領域選択ゲーム」は図形ゲームである。その幼児版のゲームにより数字をよく知らない幼児がどの程度数学アルゴリズムを獲得できるかを研究するためのデータを取得し、その解析を行った。この図形ゲームの効能を説明するために、数学を思考する際の脳の働きを研究し、雑誌論文や図書として発表した。大阪市立大学医学部老年内科の医師の意見を取り入れて高齢者の視空間認識機能のリハビリテーションのための高齢者向け「領域選択ゲーム」を開発し、共同研究を締結した高齢者のケア施設に、それを搭載したiPadを貸与して、検証試験を行っている。

ダイナミカルノイズを付加した自己想起型カオスニューラルネットワークの想起の動的性質を数値的に調べ、次の結果を得た。パラメータ空間が記憶パターンを非周期的に想起して巡る遷移状態とホップフィールドモデルのような静的な想起の状態に分かれる。ノイズのない場合にその境界で見られる記憶パターンの想起頻度の乱れが、ノイズを付加することにより消える。この現象のノイズ強度依存性を調べたところ、適度のノイズで乱れが最も小さくなる確率共鳴的な性質が見られた。また、記憶パターンを想起したときの位相空間での点の集合の広がりは静的な想起のスケーリングパラメータの値の増大にともない減少することがわかった。これは、そのパラメータが大きくなるとホップフィールド的な静的な想起の状態へ近づくため、位相空間上での軌道の乱れが減少するためと推測できる。また、この効果はノイズ強度が大きいほど強いことがわかった。

作家が概念を導入する場合重要なのは,「概念人物」を用いるということである。ジェイムズはこの作品"The Liar"において「嘘」という純粋概念から「嘘つき」という概念人物を生み出した。語りの中心であるライアンの視点は,階級闘争における敗北と失恋からくるコンプレックスにより歪められており,このことはステイズ邸の食堂での会話から読みとることができる。また,そこでの匿名の女性との会話により,彼の描く肖像画が彼の観察眼以上に描写力に富むことが明らかになる。この作品には二つの肖像画が登場するが,いずれも彼の筆力からモデルの醜悪な面がはっきりと描かれているため,モデルによって抹殺されたと考えられる。ライアンは過去の恋人キャパドーズ夫人を信頼し彼女を大佐の嘘から覚醒させようとするが,匿名の女性が正しくも指摘する通り,この作品における一番の「嘘つき」は実は彼女なのだ。この作品の今ひとつ重要なポイントは,切り裂かれた,あるいは売られた肖像画の詳細をジェイムズが明らかにしていないということである。ジェイムズはこの策略により,この作品にもう一人の視点人物,キャパドーズ夫人を設定することに成功したのである。

弱い信号に対する非線形システムの応答性がノイズの存在下で増強される現象として, 確率共鳴(Stochastic Resonance:SR)が知られている.我々は, これまで, ニューロン集団系が自己連想記憶型のネットワークを構成し記憶パターンを有する場合のSR的現象について考察してきた.本研究では, 白色ノイズをともなうニューロンによる場合の確率共鳴現象について, ニューロン数が3個と156個の場合の記憶モデルを取り上げ, そのシミュレーション実験の結果を報告する.

The fine structure of Leydig cells in the lingual epithelium of adult axolotls, Ambystoma mexicanum, was studied by electron microscopy. Leydig cells were characterized by the presence of numerous secretory granules as well as rough endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. The exact function of these granules still remains obscure. The Langerhans' net was seen in the peripheral cytoplasm of the Leydig cell in close association with desmosomal attachments and might play as a framework supporting the cell.

The range-dependence of clutter spectrum for forward-looking airborne radar strongly affects the accuracy of the estimation of clutter covariance matrix at the range under test, which results in poor clutter suppression performance if the conventional space-time adaptive processing (STAP) algorithms were applied, especially in the short range cells. Therefore, a new STAP algorithm with clutter spectrum compensation by utilizing knowledge-aided subspace projection is proposed to suppress clutter for forward-looking airborne radar in this paper. In the proposed method, the clutter covariance matrix of the range under test is firstly constructed based on the prior knowledge of antenna array configuration, and then by decomposing the corresponding space-time covariance matrix to calculate the clutter subspace projection matrix which is applied to transform the secondary range samples so that the compensation of clutter spectrum for forward-looking airborne radar is accomplished. After that the conventional STAP algorithm can be applied to suppress clutter in the range under test. The proposed method is compared with the sample matrix inversion (SMI) and the Doppler Warping (DW) methods. The simulation results show that the proposed STAP method can effectively compensate the clutter spectrum and mitigate the range-dependence significantly.

Signal transducing adaptor protein-2 (STAP-2)は、シグナル伝達あるいは転写因子と結合するアダプター蛋白である。本研究において、生体内炎症反応を増強すること、アレルギー反応を抑制すること、BCR-ABL活性増強を介してケモカイン受容体発現を変化させること、メラノーマ細胞増殖に必須であること、抗原刺激後のT細胞免疫応答を正に制御すること、を見出した。本研究成果により、STAP-2阻害剤開発後の治療対象疾患が明らかになった。

The expression of the cytoglobin/stellate cell activation-associated protein (Cygb/STAP) was recently confirmed in all splanchnic vitamin A-storing cells - including hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) - in normal conditions. In the hepatic fibrous lesion, the expression of Cygb/STAP has been shown to be upregulated in activated HSCs and myofibroblasts (MFs), which have synthesized extracellular matrices. Furthermore, splanchnic vitamin A-storing cells have been reported to be distributed in the kidney. In this study, we clarify the contribution of vitamin A-storing cells to renal fibrosis by focusing on Cygb/ STAP. Adult mice were subjected to unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) and kidneys were harvested 1, 3, 7, and 10 days after UUO.<BR> Numbers of Cygb/STAP-immunopositive cells as well as Cygb/STAP mRNA 3 days after UUO (UUO day 3 kidney) increased. Vitamin A-autofluorescence was observed in intertubular spaces of controls but gradually declined in a time-dependent manner after UUO. Cygb/STAP<SUP>+</SUP> cells were not completely identical with α-smooth muscle actin (αSMA)-positive cells in the control or UUO day 7 kidneys. Immunohistochemical analysis for Cygb/STAP and fibulin-2 (Fib), a specific marker for distinguishing MFs from activated HSCs, revealed that the number of Fib<SUP>+</SUP>STAP<SUP>+</SUP> cells (MFs) and Fib-STAP<SUP>+</SUP> cells (splanchnic vitamin A-storing cells) significantly increased in UUO day 3 and UUO day 7 kidneys compared with the controls. Our present findings support the concept that Cygb/STAP can be a unique marker for splanchnic fibroblast-like cells, namely the vitamin A-storing cell lineage, and suggest that splanchnic vitamin A-storing cells contribute to renal fibrogenesis in the obstructed kidney.
