We successfully powderized keratin fibers under mild conditions. Wool keratin was hydrolyzed in a binary system, consisting of a higher alcohol phase and an alkali aqueous solution phase.

Workers Collective is a form of the productive cooperative. It is generally defined by several features;every member is the financier, the manager, and the worker. And the important goals of management of organization are self-management, democratic meeting, and member's participation in decision-making. In this paper, I investigate three types of Workers Collective founded on the Seikatu-Club Kanagawa Consumers Cooperative. They have distinctions that almost every member is housewife, the kind of their business are based on experience and skill of household or cooperative work and activity, and they give attention to the process of production, taking environment into consideration. Since 1982, Women's Workers Collective movement have much influenced on women's life style, especially gender work. Now, Women's Workers Collective movement entered upon the second stage in 1996. For better communication among members and for better self-management, Workers Collective 'Ninjin' renewed their group rule, organizing system and divided into downsized groups according to the kind of work and local area. They are always striving against the existing concepts, framework of capitalistic labor and they aim to reconstruct the way of life in their community in the Aging Society.

k辺連結化問題とは、与えられた無向グラフG=(V, E)に付加して得られるグラフG'=(V, E∪E')がk辺連結となるような最小辺集合E'を求める問題である。本稿では、"辺付加により新たに多重辺を作らない"、という条件を加えたk辺連結化問題を扱う。一般には、この問題はNP-hardであり、Gの葉と呼ばれる点集合の総数により問題の難しさが変わることが知られている。本稿では、Gの辺連結度をσとするとき、k=σ+1且つGが2σ+6個未満の葉を持つ場合を考え、リーフグラフの最大マッチングにより生成される葉数と不飽和葉数の関係により、多項式時間の最適解法、あるいは、近似比3 / 2の近似解法、それぞれを提案する。

私がChildのcriteriaを用いて硬変肝ではその切除限界に大きな制約があることを示して以来,既に約20年を経ているが,今回三重大学着任後約13年間に経験した肝臓外科症例469例の臨床成績に基づいて肝臓外科における手術危険度の判定法や手術適応の拡大について検討して報告した.1)肝切除限界:肝機能面からは教室の総合的risk 4,残存肝Rmax 0.2〜0.4が限界であった.この他,活動性肝炎の所見やHBV感染,凝固線溶系機能異常,栄養状態,肝循環動態や心肺腎機能の変化なども考慮する必要がある.2)risk不良例の対策と切除成績:(1)高度凝固線溶系機能異常に対する部分的脾動脈塞栓術,(2)術前術後の積極的栄養管理とBCAAの投与,(3)PGE_1の投与による肝血流の維持などとともに術前術後に亘る慎重な集中管理を行うことによってcritical levelの症例であっても良好な長期予後を得ることができる.さらに手術適応の拡大に関する新しい試みについても紹介した.

バスケットボールのシュート率を向上させるには,シュートフォームの確立が不可欠である.また,初心者にシュートフォームを教えるためには,熟練者のシュートフォーム姿における身体各関節の角度の測定が必要となってくる.そこで,熟練者と初心者のシュートフォームをモーションキャプチャで取得し,身体各関節の回転角を分析した.その結果,初心者は熟練者より安定性がなく,足や腕の伸展力を利用していないことが分かった.

This paper describes a new method to measure and analyze three-dimensional rotation and translation analysis of upper limb in basketball shot form. In general, the shot form is measured by taking the photograph of motion with the high-speed camera and/or video camera and analyzing the photograph with direct linear transformation method (DLT method). The suggesting measurement method was derived by the kinematic human body model analysis. The measurement system developed by using the three dimensional rate gyro sensors set at the several body positions can measure the three dimensional rotations and the three dimensional translations of various parts of body. By using this system, the motion of a thin part such as wrists and ankles can be measured easily. In addition, this system can measure the basketball shot forms of various players correctly.

The purpose of this study is to examine shot skill of free throw in male college basketball players. Subjects were two male college basketball players (subject A: good shot-skilled player, subject B: poor shot-skilled player). Their forms during shots of free throw were recorded by using a digital video camera. The displacement of ball and joint angle were calculated from obtained video data. The velocity of ball which are released was faster in subject A than in subject B. Behaviors of changes of joint angle in subject A were similar to subject B. However, from the point of view of the "motor conduction", the conduction was inferior in the subject B than in the subject A. These results suggest that differences in the "motor conduction" may affect shot skill of free throw in basketball, and kinematics data obtained from video camera are useful as the index of motor skills.
