症例は57歳の男性, 40歳より2型糖尿病の診断で, 他院で内服治療をうけていた, 2000年2月, 血糖コントロールが不良になり市立旭川病院糖尿病内科を紹介入院となった. 入院時のCA 19-9は110. 4U/ml, CEAは7.5ng/mlと高値を示し, 悪性疾患を疑い検索をすすめた. CFで大腸腺腫を認めたが, GF, CT, ERCPなどの画像検査では異常を認めなかった. 入院後, 食事療法とインスリン治療により血糖は改善傾向を示した. それに伴い腫瘍マーカーも減少し, 退院時にはCA19-9は64.7U/ml, CEAは3.9ng/mlとなった, 糖尿病患者は健常者に比較して腫瘍マーカーが高値であるとの報告はみられるが, 血糖と共に変動する症例報告は比較的少ないため報告する.

Globally more than 50,000 people die of rabies every year. Most of victims are kids under 15 year of age and are reported from Asia and Africa. There are only limited areas where rabies has been eliminated or historically no incursion of rabies has ever been reported. As more than 99% of rabies death in humans occurs by dog bite, it is evident that the most important and effective preventive measures is canine rabies control. In rabies endemic countries, therefore, every effort to control rabies by vaccination of dogs along with dog population control should be implemented. It has been shown that elimination of canine rabies is feasible even in those countries where the burden of rabies is tremendously high. On the other hand one of the most effective measures taken by rabies-free countries to maintain their rabies-free status is strict import restriction of dogs. In this article the measures implemented in several rabies-free countries or areas to sustain their rabies-free status have been reviewed.

The bitterling Acheilognathus macropterus, introduced from the continent of China to the Tone River system, including Lake Kasumigaura, is designated as an invasive alien species by the Invasive Alien Species Act of Japan, due to their potentially negative impacts on other threatened bitterling species through interspecific competition. Although ecological studies of immature and adult stages of A. macropterus have already been reported in both China and Japan, little is known about larval and juvenile stages in the wild. To ascertain habitat characteristics in early life stages of the species, spatial distribution of larval and juvenile A. macropterus and environmental variables were investigated at 131 sites in two river systems (Ono R. and Shintone R.) flowing into Lake Kasumigaura in June 2018. A total of 1,118 larval and juvenile specimens (5.8–18.4 mm in body length, BL) were collected using hand nets during the study period, ca. 93% of the total number being larvae. A generalized liner mixed model based on the data for larval density with a variety of environmental variables (i.e., water temperature, dissolved oxygen, water depth, flow velocity, vegetation density, mud content ratio in the bottom sediment, distance from a freshwater pearl farm, and wave height) at each site revealed that greater vegetation density with higher dissolved oxygen and distance to pearl farms utilizing the unionid hybrid mussel Sinohyriopsis schlegeli × S. cumingii were the most significant determinants of larval density. The results indicated that appropriate management of river vegetation and pearl farm factors are necessary for the establishment of essential controls, so as to manage the reproduction and expansion of A. macropterus in the Ono and Shintone River systems.

複数の音が混ざった音を音源ごとに分離する音源分離技術は,無線通信のビームフォーミング技術,確率モデルに基づく信号処理及び最適化に関する技術,そして深層学習に関する技術を取り込みつつ進化を続けてきている.本稿では,空間モデルと音源の確率モデルに基づく複数マイクロホンの音源分離技術,深層学習を用いた単一マイクロホンの音源分離技術,そして深層学習ベースの音源モデルと空間モデルを用いた複数マイクロホンの音源分離技術の概観を示す.

Villoglandular papillary adenocarcinoma (VGPA) is a rare subtype of cervical adenocarcinoma that generally affects young women and has a favorable prognosis. Its preoperative diagnosis is important to avoid excessive surgery. We report the magnetic resonance (MR) findings of a case in which the cervical tumor showed a fern-leaf-like appearance on high resolution T2-weighted images obtained at 3 tesla. MR imaging clearly showed this pathological feature that may suggest this disease.

本研究は、日本語の語形成の一種である短縮について論じる。先行研究から、日本語の複合語短縮では短縮された語の多くが 4 モーラ語であり、その大半が短縮される前の複合語の前部要素の語頭 2 モーラと後部要素の語頭 2 モーラを結合したものであるなど、いくつかの形成パターンが明らかになっている。本研究は、アニメーション作品の題名における短縮語形成を分析し、先行研究で明らかにされていない 3 要素以上からなる複合語(多要素複合語)や句、文の単位においてどのような短縮語形成パターンがあるのか、その形成要因および特徴はどのようなものか、また、短縮語形成時にどのような要素が残されるのかを分析、考察することが目的である。近年のアニメーション作品 456 作品を調査し、得られた短縮された名称、合計 276 事例を分析対象とした。短縮された名称を作品名の構成単位ごとに、単純語、複合語、多要素複合語、句、文に分類し、それぞれについてモーラ数や形成パターン、変音現象、形態素などの観点から分析を行った。分析の結果、アニメーション作品の題名における短縮語形成では、「語頭 2 モーラ+語頭 2モーラ」の 4 モーラ語の形成が最も生産性が高いことが分かった。多要素複合語、句、文における短縮語形成では、複合語の短縮語形成と異なり 5 モーラ以上の語も一定の割合で形成されることなどが分かった。また、短縮語として残される要素は固有名詞が優先され、固有名詞が無い場合は 2 語以上を結合し短縮する傾向があると明らかになった。

本研究の最終的な目標は、以下の3点である。1.カルフォルニアにおける運動と日本における運動を比較し、日米社会の比較研究を行う。2.エコロジーとフェミニズムの関係を理論的・思想的に問い直す。3.アメリカのカリフォルニアでの反原子力運動を記録し、日本の運動と比較を分析を行う。また本研究は、母性に代表されるような家族に関する語彙の思想的意味を問いなおし、エコロジーとフェミニズムの関係を精査し、理論的に深化させることを目的としている。今年度はこの部分に集中的に取り掛かり、日本における「母性」、とくに「父性」との関係において、「母性」がどのように使われているのかについて検討した。とくに離婚後の家族における「母性」と「父性」の対立について、考察した。日本女性学会において「法律は、離婚後の親子関係に介入すべきなのか―面会交流は親の権利か、子どもの権利か、それとも義務か」というタイトルで、パネリストとして発表を行った。また『女性学』25号に「法律は、離婚後の親子関係に介入すべきなのか―面会交流は親の権利か、子どもの権利か、それとも義務か」という同名の論文が、掲載された。また家族にはらまれる暴力の問題がどのように日本社会で法的に制度化されているのかについて問い、「家族紛争と司法の役割──社会学の立場から」にまとめた。調査としては、今年度は日本において、福島からの女性避難者の聞き取り調査など、ライフヒストリーを聞き取ることを進めた。

We analyzed 3633 Japanese Bombyx mandarina COI sequences from 37 locations in Japan, found 94 segregating sites in 714-bp long COI nucleotide sequences and eventually identified 121 haplotypes. We further confirmed that the 121 haplotypes were different from the 8 B. mori haplotypes reported by Yukuhiro et al. (2011), and the result strongly suggested little gene flow from B. mori to Japanese B. mandarina. We discuss the properties of the mutational differences between the two species.
